y. You can also book the historic farmhouse to hang out and get ready in as well. We had the bridal parties share the farmhouse as there are two different rooms and we were able to not see each other before the ceremony. As for the ceremony we did this on property for no extra fee. The background of the ceremony area was stunning. There is a brick walkway that leads to a stone fireplace and area to stand and have the ceremony with the barn in the background. You can rent your own chairs or use the chairs that that barn has as they can go indoor or outdoor depending on how many chairs you need. There are also sooo many great spots for wedding photos right on property! We had some different backdrops for bridesmaid pics, groomsman pics, father first looks and us! We never left the property all day which was so nice. The venue has a list of caterers that they have used but you can bring in your food, drinks, decor, vendors, etc. (just no open flames due to the wooden barn). You can really make this venue exactly what you want it to be! Additionally, we booked the set up, take down and day of coordinator, Lisa! I highly recommend all of this!! The team did an amazing job setting up our day and we didn't have to worry about cleaning up or packing up which was great! Lisa was fantastic and took care of all the details the day of!!! She is so experienced and knew exactly what to do and how to help make the day run SO smooth! She also helped with the planning, itinerary and layouts!! (Due to our DJ we had to change his location on the fly and Lisa took care of everything)! There is also an option to block the weekend so you can just drop off stuff the day before and pick up the day after, very convenient. We even used the barn the night before to host our rehearsal dinner! We just cleaned up the dinner after and then the team set up our wedding the next day (events should be set up the day of). I could go on and on about how much we and our guests loved this venue! There is a huge ceiling fan if it's a hot day and heat inside the barn if it is a cold day. The barn comes with beautiful lights inside and outside the barn! If the weather is nice, Lisa and team will set up the fire pit outside which was such a nice touch and a great dance break area (our guest enjoyed the inside and outside of the barn and the big door makes it so open)! The venue is also in a great location, with hotel options and downtown Hudson close. There is parking options on site for guests and things to keep your guests busy nearby. Booking this venue helps preserve the historical site! Highly recommend!!
