We're so glad we went with Casey for our engagement and wedding pictures! My wife and I will be more than happy to write our review regarding Casey's service in our wedding. The only memories will be remembered forever are the pictures of the wedding, we recommend you to spend time and energy to find the best photographer to record those moments. We are very grateful to find Casey. We had our ceremony in Saint Patrick's Cathedral and reception at 620 Loft and Garden (620 Fifth ave.) in Manhattan NY. The venue was gorgeous and outstanding but has very strict rules in terms of access and what can and can not be done. There were also in-door and outdoor locations. Not many photographers felt comfortable to put themself into so much trouble but Caey had experience with the locations, so for him it was absolutely fine. We wanted a photographer to show the beauty of the venue in real color with minimal amount of alteration. Casey's style was exactly matching what we wanted and when we received the picture (it took about 10 days which is very quick for 1400-1500 pictures), we were in awe. Casey used different cameras and angles to capture beautiful moments and the results were just fantastic. As a person, Casey is very approachable, with a calm manner; after talking to him you know his only concern is to make sure you have the best time in your big day and he captures the moments to stay with you for the rest of your life. Casey went above and beyond in his service and we are beyond happy with his pictures. We for sure will hire Casey for our future occasions and we highly recommend him to all.

When I was searching for our wedding photographer I looked at several photographers' portfolios. I love good pictures, what impressed me the most about Casey's photographs was the brightness and vividness of the pictures, his style is timeless. I also loved that he has the ability to capture the "moments" every picture can tell a story and is able to express feelings, as opposed to other posed picture styles. After showing my photographs to family and friends, I received several compliments on how well we selected our photographer and wanted to know Casey's contact information. The best decision we made was to pick Casey as our photographer, he is professional, very responsive, and accommodating. Before our wedding Casey and we had meetings and I handed him a list of must pictures, he was able to obtain all those pictures plus many more I didn't even have in mind. I highly recommend him.

We interviewed a number of photographers for our wedding. Casey put us at ease with the process and he took the time to really listen to us. We had a number of meetings leading up to the big day and Casey was always very attentive and really focused on what we wanted for the day. Our photographs arrived this week and we are blown away. Going thru them it feels like we are reliving the day. All of our family members that are going thru the pics are saying the same. He captured every aspect of the wedding. We had 150 guests and I think he managed to get everyone. It was also done in a way that allowed my bride and myself to enjoy the day. We had an amazing experience and strongly recommend.

I was so lucky to have Casey photograph my wedding, especially after having to reschedule twice due to the pandemic. Casey's photos speak for themselves (but I'll say it anyway--they're OUTSTANDING). On top of that, though, his approach is so thoughtful from beginning to end. Upon finding out that the ceremony would be outdoors, he asked me whether I was prepared for just how dirty the hem of my dress would get (note to brides-to-be: holy cow, so dirty) and whether I was comfortable having the hem photographed. Casey was referred to us by an old friend for our engagement and wedding photos. We knew Casey was a great fit after our first conversation. At the end of the summer, we took engagement pictures around Bay Ridge, and they came out gorgeous! Our wedding photos, most especially the colors and emotions of our sunset ceremony and our sweet first look, were so so beautiful, lovely and touching. Casey and his assistant photographer did an amazing job of capturing so many poignant moments and expressions, and just about every guest who was there. Every time I look through our photos, I smile and really feel like I’m back in that moment. We were so impressed by his lightning-speed turn around of sneak peaks and proofs, and to see well over one thousand photos to choose from! We also appreciated that the photographers blended in very well and seamlessly moved around while snapping away. It’s been just about six months and we are so happy we made the decision to have Casey capture our most special day!

Our wedding photos are so gorgeous. Casey captured every amazing moment from our wedding day and it didn't even feel like he was there! Casey was great to work with throughout. Before getting married, I'd been in several wedding parties as a bridesmaid. I knew what I definitely DID NOT want in a wedding photographer. Casey has been the photographer for a number of weddings that I've been a part of (3 different friends and a family member), so I've always known how great Casey is to be around on a wedding day. What I didn't know was how organized, kind, and responsive he is when you are the one hiring him for your wedding! We had Casey take our engagement photos 7 months before our wedding, and they turned out beautifully! We've seen Casey's work on multiple occasions, but being in front of the camera is a totally different experience. He immediately helped us feel at ease during the engagement shoot, so when it came time for the wedding, both my husband and I trusted him completely to help us with our wedding day nerves! I can't say enough wonderful things about Casey and his team! Casey managed to handle all of the logistics with 2 photographers and 2 videographers, plus three large extended families that required a lot of portraits, and on top of that he was cheerful, professional, and just super helpful throughout the entire process. We searched for days to find a top notch pro to photograph our wedding, and we found him! Casey answered our initial inquiry right away and from our first meeting to getting our photos, everything was pleasant and professional. Couldn't have been more painless. He addressed all our concerns and was genuinely interested in our event. On the big day he was prompt and ready for action. Casey photographed our wedding at Frankie's 457 in Brooklyn. Throughout the whole process he was extremely professional, easy to work with, and very attentive to all the details. Prior to the wedding, he took the time to meet us in person, and outlined a plan to ensure we had every photo we wanted on the big day. My daughter hired Casey for her wedding and I must say that I was incredibly impressed by his professionalism, skill, and warmth as a human being. While I was impressed by the quality of their engagement photo session, I was worried about the day of the wedding when the pressure was on. Casey not only navigated some tricky relationships between family members but had everyone laughing (even people who generally won't be in the same room with one another) and the family photos seemed to fly past without any of us being the wiser. When we received the link from my daughter to view the photos after the wedding (in just a couple of weeks, much faster than the six months for my son's wedding for which Casey was not the photographer) I was truly stunned. He captured entire relationships in a single photo. The pictures are beautiful. I know my daughter and her husband will treasure them but they will also be very precious to me as there are wonderful photos of all of the members of my family as well. Thank you, Casey. I’ll be honest, hiring a wedding photographer was not at the top of my wedding “to do’s”. My husband and I were paying for everything and were on a tight budget and I have a long history of looking like an anxious awkward mess in any and all staged photos and hating them, so we were all set to leave our wedding memories to the magic of cell phones and the social media age. My sister/maid of honor was having none of this , and made it her mission to not only hire us a photographer, but hire one who is the best of the best. BEST. DECISION. EVER, and one I’d eagerly have budgeted for myself with enough foresight. We just did a quick day of package without laying out as much ground work as some couples do, but Casey did an amazing job of capturing the evening and my husband and now have tons of perfect photos to remember the best day of our lives . Every time I go through our photos, I find a new favorite. Not only did he capture many magical moments between my husband and I and our families, but also the joy and experiences of our guests at the reception. Hire him, even if you don’t think photographers are worth it, you won’t regret it!!

My daughter hired Casey for her ceremony in Maine and reception in NYC. So, I met Casey just as it was “go time” for pictures. I was immediately stuck by his warmth, kindness and calming influence. One of the best things that he does is to provide an engagement photo shoot which really gave us a great opportunity for Casey to get to know us better, understand our preferences, and for us to get comfortable with him. He had my husband and I laughing all day at our wedding and he got through our (extensive) list of family portraits so quickly we were able to enjoy most of our cocktail hour! He showed us a few 'teaser' images the day after the wedding on social media and I thought those must be the best photos because they were so beautiful and emotional. I was wrong. When we got the link to the full gallery I was blown away. You can't go wrong with Casey. The Process: From our first consultation to the last shutter-click at our wedding reception, we felt listened to and at-ease with Casey. He is a very kind, warm soul who makes the process stress-free. For us, it was important that we didn’t feel directed and posed, but if a couple needs some extra help, he will give it in the way that’s right for them. When it came to the engagement shoot, Casey was up for anything! From making friends with our pups to joining us in a shot of engagement whiskey during the shoot, we felt like we were just hanging out with our super-talented friend who happened to be a photographer. On the wedding day, Casey and his second shooter, Angel, arrived and got to work with a full understanding of and respect for the day’s timeline. Our guests, other vendors, and venue coordinators kept raving that they had never seen a photographer work so quickly and efficiently. Group portraits didn’t take an unnecessary amount of time. Casey is a pro at getting what he needs and sending you/your guests back to the celebration. One of my favorite parts of working with Casey is throughout the day and night, special, small moments would happen and I would think, “Oh, I wish Casey were here so we had a picture of that.” Without fail, Casey or Angel would be there. They were always ready, and ever-present, but never in the way or stopping the joy of the day from unfolding naturally. The Photos: Simply put, Casey’s photos look like memorable moments of your life at their most beautiful. It was very important to us that our photos weren’t overly posed and had true-to-life color vs the very washed out you sometimes see in wedding photography, and Casey delivered in spades. The photos are gorgeous, emotional, and real. They look like a mixture beautiful movie stills and creative, artistic shots - which is exactly what we wanted. Casey gave us a few teaser photos to hold us over, but the real deal didn’t take long! He turned around both our engagement photos and wedding photos in roughly a week, and included a slideshow of wedding photos that we could share with friends and family. I can’t think of any other newlywed couple we know who got their wedding photos back so quickly without sacrificing quality. It is wonderful when you get to work with someone who is a stellar human, talented, and feels like they are on your team. Casey is all this.

We were really meticulous in finding a photographer for our wedding day. When we came across Casey we loved his appreciation for photography and his eye for capturing emotion. Most importantly he loves what he does, in addition to being extremely talented. He made us feel really comfortable during our engagement shoot, when neither of us had taken professional photos before and felt nervous, and he got the photos back to us in LESS THAN A WEEK. We were amazed. On our wedding day as well he captured such special moments, emotions, and light. We were so happy with how the photos turned out and have revisited them again and again since. And we have to reiterate how quickly we received the retouched wedding photos back! We loved being able to go through them during our honeymoon. Casey also makes the nitty-gritty administrative stuff extremely easy through his online portal, and also by just generally knowing what he’s doing (he has years and years of experience doing this). At any point if we had a question for Casey he was never more than a call/email away and was always very prompt and professional about answering. Casey and his team do beautiful work!! We have the most gorgeous wedding photos from the moments he captured. When I showed them to around people thought they were going to be for a magazine! They're stunning. He finds the right light and poses, and even captures moments you don't see are happening. We have some of the most amazing pictures and can't choose all the ones we love most! Also Casey helped coordinate the pictures and sparklers at the end of the night. Really he goes above and beyond. I highly recommend you use Casey for your wedding or special event. I highly recommend using Casey! I got married last month and I have nothing but good things to share about the photography experience. Looking through all the photographs (which he shared with us less than 2 weeks after our event!), I couldn't be happier with how Casey captured our day. He does a great job with portraits and had us fill out a questionnaire before the event so we had time to think about exactly what we wanted to capture during the portrait time frame. But even better than the portraits are the candid shots that he takes throughout the day. It's really great to be able to look through and experience the moments of dancing, laughter, and hugs and to feel the excitement of the day through the photos. And all very discretely. My husband and I were very impressed looking through all the photos, we kept saying "Casey was standing right there? I have no memory of that!" Casey photographed two of my sisters weddings prior to mine, and I feel so lucky that going into my wedding, I had a photographer that I already knew was going to be great. When we were first looking at wedding photographers, I wasn't sure what we were really looking for. I thought we were just going to check this off the list and a photographer is a photographer. I personally dont like taking photos and I've been in a bunch of weddings where having my picture taken with the groomsmen felt like torture. When my wife and I found Casey's website, that feeling changed. His photos capture all sorts of emotions. Nothing seems staged. And when it came time for our wedding, I realized it was because nothing was staged. He's just really good at making people feel comfortable so they can be themselves. Now I know what a big difference that makes. Unlike other weddings I had been a part of, the portraits were painless and they're great! Everyone looks natural and happy, because they were. My wife and I highly recommend Casey, especially if you feel anxious about having your photo taken. He won't take a bad picture of you. Or if he does, he never lets you see it. And there are so many great photos you have no idea there were bad ones he left out. And we highly recommend taking advantage of the free engagement session he includes with his packages. Casey photographed our wedding and engagement shoot. I came across his name through other reviews, and really enjoyed his portfolio. Not only is his work outstanding, he is an outstanding person. We felt throughout the process like we were working with a friend. He actively listened to what we wanted for our wedding and absolutely delivered. His portrait work is so beautiful - but his ability to capture the emotion in a moments is superb. When I look through the photos, I see joy, laughter, surprise, old friends from our lives becoming new friends with each other, the details of all our planning, and the finest collection of dancers assembled under one roof. Casey is amazing! From the start when I contacted him to the engagement shoot, day of the wedding, quick turnaround of the photos, he was very responsive and took great care to make sure everything runs smoothly and accordingly to what we would like to capture for our special day. Casey is very easy to work with, mild mannered and I was impressed with his “invisible cloak” at the wedding. I was not even aware of where he was at the wedding and yet the pictures of us and the guests came out gorgeous. There was a wide range of photos, candid, details, portraits which truly captured the range of emotions that day for both the wedding party and the guests. We took some photos in Central Park during a crowded Saturday afternoon. I was worried about the distractions in the background but when we saw a the photos (just a week after our wedding), it was as though the crowd just faded away. Despite the cloudy day, everything looked perfectly lit and everyone looked very natural. The complimentary engagement shoot definitely helped us feel more at ease with Casey and with each other. We keep getting wonderful compliments as to how beautiful the photos came out for both the engagement shoot and the wedding. Casey's work is so gorgeous and Casey himself is so warm, friendly and makes you feel so at ease! Actually, that doesn't even do his services justice, his photographs and Casey are too wonderful for words! My husband hates having photographs taken of himself but from the second we met Casey, my husband felt at ease and finally smiled in a photo! For our engagement session throughout NYC, Casey accompanied us to three locations and afterwards sent us hundred of gorgeous photos which he easily captured in less than an hour. Plus it was a blast to be with him during that time. For our wedding, he arrived on time, with his team, and was so calm and in control throughout the day, it was a dream! It was incredible that he came and stayed for as long as we needed him to and we quickly got all the photographs we asked for and more! He even checked in on my husband and I to make sure he had captured all the photographs of our family and friends we had asked for and to see if there were any more. I cannot even describe how beautiful the photos are and he sent them to us (over 2,000) within a week of our wedding! He captures and sees all the small, meaningful moments and details that so many other photographers, and our guests' photos, have missed. Looking through the photographs, we can feel the emotions of our guests and all of our friends and family are obsessed with the photographs as well. We did the package where we had 2 photographers, 2 videographers, and the photobooth and the photobooth was such a hit! It was easy to set up and after the wedding we received copies of all the photos (plus they printed out during the wedding)! While we haven't seen the video yet (we've been married 10 days) we are sure it is beautiful and perfect as well! It wasn't just during the wedding that Casey shined but also beforehand. He is extremely kind, patient, and responsive - answering any of our questions extremely quickly. He is a real gem, a true artist, and unbelievably talented!

Casey worked with us for our engagement and wedding photos, and we are so happy with them. Casey is very soft spoken and very calm. He didn't try to get us to pose and everything felt very natural. I saw many photos from the wedding album, for instance, of me holding hands with my husband, that I wasn't even aware was being photographed at the wedding so it was 100% genuine and beautiful. Casey is very professional, shows up early for appointments and delivers the photos very quickly (within 2 weeks after the wedding). Since I knew the whole wedding experience would go by in a flash, having great pictures to look back on was a priority for me. I wanted a photographer who would capture the emotion of the day, and Casey was perfect. Even though my wife does not like getting her picture taken, we both look natural and he caught a lot of great candid moments. The complimentary engagement shoot helped us learn to relax for pictures so it was easier on the big day; after all, most of us are not models in our normal lives. Casey was happy to listen to our ideas as well as make great suggestions. It was a really hot day so I appreciated that he works quickly and the process isn’t drawn out or tiring. The wedding itself was a winter elopement, and we had a reception for family and friends another day. I would recommend Casey for either setting. He was fun to have around as the only “guest” for the ceremony, and he was a very good sport about being out in the freezing cold weather for the ceremony itself and pictures afterwards. As for the reception, he blended in perfectly. Casey is great at capturing funny, touching, and otherwise awesome moments without anyone feeling crowded or self-conscious about there being a camera around. And he was happy to take posed or group shots as requested. He made sure before leaving to ask us multiple times if there was anything else we wanted. Most importantly, the pictures are gorgeous! He definitely takes care not to post shots where anyone looks bad. We couldn’t believe how fast the turnaround was - both times he sent pictures from the elopement and reception in just a few short days, faster than what he’d verbally promised. And we were given a link to download all the images without watermarks. We have gotten so many compliments on the pictures, and couldn’t be happier to have such wonderful keepsakes from our big day(s). I would happily hire Casey again!

As a part time wedding band bassist I have had the pleasure of watching Casey work from a unique perspective on stage and behind the scenes, and have witnessed firsthand the level of effort and professionalism he puts into getting every shot. We love Casey! We live on the West coast and my daughter happily found the man of her dreams while attending university in NY. As you can imagine being the mother of the bride and being 3000 miles away, it becomes a bit overwhelming to find a photographer let alone one who meshes well with the personalities and time zones for all involved. Because our time was limited, our daughter and son-in-law had already met with photographers, enabling us to talk to and review the options of their top 3 choices. While each of the photographers that we met with had their unique style and list of referrals, Casey was by far the easiest to work with because he listened to our needs during our meeting before presenting his solution or inundating us with a lot of al a carte options. It was clear from the conversation we had with Casey that he enjoys taking spontaneous photos throughout the event and not planned table and posed settings. He showed us several photos and we can easily see ourselves and the kids in them. Our daughter and son-in-law worked with Casey to find a time and location for their engagement photos that would work best for them. The kids met in Central Park and spent time taking various photos in and around the park and city. It was wonderful to see the quality and variety of photos Casey took and then quickly posted for us to review. Immediately I felt at ease with the event after seeing how he captured the love between my daughter and finance. The day of the wedding (in Long Island) was quite hectic, families arrived at different times, some complete and ready for photos, and some arriving much later. The groomsmen were all wearing bowties that truly required tying and so few people knowing how to do that. Despite the chaos, Casey managed to capture the true essence of the wedding with some really fun and candid wedding photos that seemed to make the chaos look more orchestrated than it really was. I don’t know how he did it, but every photo of the bride and groom was better than the next. While it was just Casey and his assistant at the wedding, there were moments captured that many of us in the wedding party did not see. While Casey and his Assistant were there to capture the bride and groom getting ready (dress, hair and make-up), until the last dance, my only disappointment was that I did not tell Casey that the kids were leaving in a limo (several hours later, I think even after the event ended), hence missing that moment on film. I think Casey was there almost 12 hours by that time. Like the engagement photo shoot, a few days later Casey already had his favorite photos and a slide show posted for our review. We realized we made the right decision! If you are looking for a photographer that can capture the spirit and essence of a wedding without being obtrusive or marshalling groups of people, Casey is best suited for this!

My husband and I didn't have much time to decide on a photographer, so I went based on a recommendation from a friend whose wedding I attended last year. Casey was the photographer and I remember commenting on how great the photos turned out when she shared them with me. Casey was very professional from the very beginning. I got a same day response by email and once I told him what we needed, he gave us a couple suggestions and we immediately booked him! I'm glad he was available. I highly recommend booking Casey for your event. He listens to what you want and he really captures the emotions of your wedding party and your guests. Casey did a phenomenal job! He was such an integral part of our wedding process. Our favorite things about working with Casey were his very quick turnaround time (he sent us our engagement and wedding pictures very quickly!!) and his general awareness of the structure and flow of a wedding. Simply put, Casey was amazing!! The package that we went with included a 2-hr engagement shoot, unlimited photo coverage on the wedding day, a 2nd photographer, online gallery with rights to download/print all the pictures without watermark, a sneak peak video of our wedding photos and a photo album. Casey is one of the few wedding photographers that offers unlimited hours on your wedding day. Most photographer rates are based on an 8 hour day (which is usually never enough for any wedding day) and any additional time is charged by the hour. The fact that we didn't have to worry about going over on time on our wedding day made a huge difference. The quality of his photos went beyond our expectations. His pictures are very sharp and clear and you can tell from the photos that he uses top of the line equipment. He is very laid back and has a casual shooting style. For the most part, he wants you to be yourself so that your true personalities will reflect in the pictures (so there is limited direction from him in terms of poses as he tries to capture the most genuine and candid moments of a couple). Aside from the quality of the photos, Casey was extremely responsive via email, which took a tremendous amount of stress off of the wedding planning process. I've heard of couples who've had bad experiences trying to get in touch with their photographers for status updates. You won't have to worry about this at all with Casey. Casey always responded to us within a day of emailing him. He also works very quick. We received our engagement photos back within a few days of the shoot and we received our wedding photos within 2 weeks of the wedding day! Overall, Casey exceeded our expectations and we are so happy to have had him as our wedding photographer. Pictures last a lifetime and he definitely did an outstanding job capturing one of the happiest days of our lives. We will forever have these amazing, high-quality photos to cherish and share with family and friends.

To me, photography was one of the most important parts of our wedding. I found Casey on theknot.com and knew right away he was perfect for our wedding. Not only was his work stunning, but he's a Casey (my new last name). Once my fiance (now husband) met him he felt the same. Casey & Jeremy photographed our March wedding in upstate New York. They were both so nice and welcoming it put everyone at ease. Then we got the pictures. They were so beautiful I cried while looking through them. As any bride would I downloaded a few hundred on my phone (a small sampling of all the photos) and have showed them to anyone who will stand still. THEN, on top of it all—the photos are AMAZING! The style was just what we wanted (candid and artistic) and so many of our most valued moments were captured beautifully. Casey delivered us thousands of images within TWO WEEKS of our big day on a clean, easy-to-use and share app called Pass. I'm still trying to narrow them down to post to Facebook—there's just so many great ones. And to further sweeten the already-dope deal, he made us a cool slideshow for both our engagement shoot and wedding day! We chose Casey for our engagement and wedding photography (at City Winery), and we can't say enough about how beautiful his work is. One of my favorite things about Casey was that there was not one moment we felt staged or posed - we spent the time enjoying the day with our friends and family, and he snapped pictures of us that looked like we WERE actually posing (in the best way!). Working with Casey was truly a pleasure. He is down to earth, calm, and has a great eye. During our engagement shoot, he did a great job of setting up a shot and then leaving us alone to do our thing while he took photos. He doesn't do anything goofy or too posed, which is great. I'm pretty uncomfortable in front of a camera, and he did a great job putting me at ease. Leading up to the wedding, he was communicative and helpful. During the wedding he was a pro, running around in the pouring rain to make sure we had shots of everything. When I found Casey's blog, the pictures were beautiful and just the style I was looking for so I immediately contacted Casey for more information. From the first interaction, Casey was friendly, professional, and calming. The price for the day was slightly higher than our original budget, but we have absolutely no regrets with hiring Casey to document and preserve our wedding day/the best day ever. Casey is a nice, normal, and friendly guy who is easy to talk with and perceptive. During our engagement shoot, he immediately realized we were slightly uncomfortable in front of the camera and gave some direction until we relaxed. Communication both via email and in person was smooth - he responded promptly to any email or question we had. The day of the wedding Casey was absolutely amazing. We did our own flowers, and he helped when we had some issues (boutonniere falling apart), and knows how to pin a boutonniere like it is his job. He was always there when I wanted a specific picture taken, but we never felt like we were tripping over each other. When we got the pictures (very quickly, we were still on our honeymoon when they were finished!), my whole family was thrilled with the pictures that he captured - some that we didn't even remember in the rush of the wedding - and he did not miss a single moment! He was not in the way during the wedding so no one even remembered him being present for most of the moments he captured. He let the events play out and captured them naturally. We are so happy with the quality of the pictures as well. I can't stop looking at them! Everything was really wonderful. I highly recommend Casey!
