I may be a bit late in writing this review, but the past year has only made it more clear to me just how fortunate we were to have Casey as our wedding photographer on 8/8/2020.
...
I initially found Casey through social media. Her easy, light style caught my eye. It was clear she made the couples and families in her photos feel comfortable, and that she was just there to capture the moments as they came; nothing looked forced or posed.
When my fiancé and I first met Casey, I wanted to hire her on the spot! She is professional, energetic, organized and easygoing all wrapped up in a bright smile. My fiancé, however, took the opportunity to ask her 1,001 "what if" questions. Casey answered each one thoroughly and in an upbeat manner, while still showing she took his concerns seriously. Little did we know at the time, a pandemic was around the corner!!
We booked Casey, had a wonderful engagement shoot with her (right before a major storm rolled through!) and then a few months later COVID hit. As things unfolded, we didn't know what our day was going to look like, but I knew Casey would be a part of it. All throughout, she continued to answer our "what if" questions in an upbeat manner, and acted as the cheerleader for our big day; continually assuring us that it would be great and that she would do everything in her power to make it seamless.
We ended up with a church wedding followed by an intimate ceremony. There was a lot of "red tape" (and some literal caution tape at the church!) around our wedding day, but Casey did not let any of that set us back. I called her a ninja after our wedding day, because I did not understand how one person could be in so many places so quickly! She covered every detail of our wedding while remaining discrete.
Casey knows the balance of capturing easy, natural moments while still making sure she gets all of the portraits/family members we requested for our photos. She went above & beyond the day of the wedding, and all of my family and bridal party commented on how sweet she was and how comfortable they were around her!
Casey took time to carefully edit our wedding photos and delivered them carefully to our doorstep in the sweetest packaging. The album she put together (part of the package we chose) is also a wonderful keepsake that we will cherish for years to come. I cannot wait for the next steps in our married life that I can ask Casey to photograph!

per genuine, and cares about every detail regarding her couples wedding day- she has an amazing eye at capturing such beautiful moments. I love looking at our portraits over and over again! We felt like she was our wedding coordinator that day- making sure we covered everything we could have asked for, everyone was accounted for in our wedding party and family when we needed to get group photos, and making sure we remained happy calm and simply remembering to take each moment in. We can’t thank her enough and we will be no doubt having her apart of our milestone moments through out our future to come! We love you Casey!💓💕

knew insistently I wanted Casey MacKenzie as my photographer. I reached out to her immediately, Casey answered promptly to set up a meeting to not only discuss the details but she wanted to take the time to get to know Drew and I as a couple. Casey was professional and personable which made us comfortable in front of the camera on both our wedding day and engagement session. Casey helped me plan the timeline of the day in advance which then line all the other vendors up for the day of wedding. This was a HUGE stress reliever! Casey is enthusiastic about her work and it truly showed throughout the day. Many of my family members who's first time meeting her was the day of the wedding complemented on how easy and energetic she was work with. She captured all my must photos and much more! She went above and behind not only the day of but on her editing images as well. She very talented! I am beyond excited to have these images for a life t

y couldn't have been happier to have Casey as our photographer, not only that- we just honestly enjoyed her presence at our wedding.
Choosing Casey as our wedding photographer was the absolute best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process! There are not enough words to describe how amazing, thoug...
htful, and talented she is and her passion for what she does truly shows in her work. Casey was incredibly easy to work with, including during our engagement shoot, planning the wedding day timeline and on the actual day of the wedding. Casey made us both feel so comfortable and natural in front of the camera, always making us laugh and smile and not making us feel awkward in the least bit even though my husband and I aren't big into posing and being the center of attention for pictures. During the wedding day Casey was extremely flexible running around to shoot with us in different areas with questionable weather outside, not to mention she was never ever intrusive or distracting to us or our guests, and somehow was able to get these perfect shots without taking away from the ceremony. Casey is so friendly, easy going and supportive and will treat you like you are close friends from the start. She was always there reminding me to "take in the moment" the day of the wedding, helping to fix my dress, and help made everything run smoothly so that we could actually enjoy our cocktail hour and ceremony. Now that we have gotten all of our pictures back we are absolutely blown away by her amazing work and are reminded again how thankful and lucky we were to work with her on our special day. Looking at these pictures brings back so many feels, and she did an amazing job of capturing all the emotions and joy of the day. We look forward to working with Casey again in the future for more life's special events! With love, Nicole & Mike Conese
Casey MacKenzie, not only was she my favorite when my husband and I met her for our consultation but she became one of the best parts of our day. Casey had a way of making us feel...
incredibly comfortable from the moment we met her , during our engagement shoot, & for our big day. Not only is she a photographer but she helped me endless times to remind me just to breathe and was always helping me with my flowers, dress , hair, etc. She is genuinely amazing and not only is she an special person to work with she takes stunning photos. When we got to see our final photos I started crying by the second photo because I was so shocked and it was amazing to be reminded how meaningful the moments that we may not have remembered from that day were. Casey is professional, top notch, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I cannot wait to work with her in the future and can honestly say we gained not only an amazing photographer that day but a friend. I could not say enough about her and her photography , her being a part of our day was hands down one of the best decisions we made throughout our whole wedding process.

Casey Mackenzie *mic drop* Searching for a photographer was a no brainer when a lot of your friends are using the best of the best. We had been to wedding that Casey was doing and ...
we saw the personality and professionalism that were able to be combined to where you felt so comfortable yet so well taken care of. People to this day come to us and say who was your photographer she meant business but she was so fun. I have heard horror stories about photographers during weddings coming to the table while you're trying to eat to pull you away and go take photos I told Casey this was my one request and she was like absolutely I love that idea. You need to sit and enjoy this time and the food. She was also like a ninja getting every picture every angle you could imagine it was like you see her and then you don't cause she's already on to the next shot. The quality of photos is superb but what you really see is her capturing the unscripted moments that you would wish were captured. She captured our day perfectly and we have only seen 3 photos of it.
Thank you so much Casey!

I am not sure how to even begin explaining how amazing Casey is. Casey was recommended to us by a friend, so we went on her Facebook and website and began looking at her pictures. ...
My husband and I were so impressed, so we sent her an email asking if she was available and for a quote. Since we live in NYC we set up a time to call and talk about her style and to see if it was a fit. I am not lying, not even 2 minutes into the phone call, we were ready to send in our deposit to lock in our date! Casey is so kind, friendly, and has a way of making you feel so comfortable to be in front of a camera, something my husband and I are not! Our engagement shoot was so relaxed and fun, and we love the pictures Casey took!! Leading up to the wedding Casey was reaching out to us, asking if there was anything she could help us with, now that goes above and beyond! On our wedding day, Casey showed up to the bridal suite with me and all the bridesmaids, and it was like she was one herself, laughing with us and helping us all get ready! We did not do a first look, but Casey knew we wanted to get into cocktail hour, and she made sure we did!! She was able to coordinate everyone and every shot perfectly, so we got to spend time with our guests and still get the photos we wanted. From the teaser we saw, we can't wait to see what others she has for us!! I will be recommending Casey to all my family and friends!
While wedding planning, my husband and I came up with a list of things that were very important to us and things that we could compromise on for our wedding. One thing that was ver...
y important to us was our wedding photographer and we are SO glad we went with Casey. From the minute we met Casey we felt so comfortable with her and we loved the fact that we could feel her excitement about our big day, it felt like we were the only wedding on the planet. Casey has such a gift, not only with the stunning engagement and wedding photos that we received but with the people at your wedding. She was able to capture intimate moments and the fun of our big day. She was able to tell when I needed a break and allowed me to take a few minutes and she was able to reel in a rowdy bridal party while taking formal shots. She had the perfect balance of arranging us to take the perfect portrait photos and letting us live in the moment and capture that organic beauty. Every time I look at our wedding photos I find something new that she captured that I love. I honestly can’t imagine our big day without Casey there!!
Having an amazing wedding photographer was one of the non-negotiables for our wedding. We were BLESSED to meet Casey! From our very first meeting, she made us feel 100% comfortable...
and assured us every step of the way that our big day would be great. Her talent truly speaks for itself! [Just go to her blog and you'll fall completely in love!] Our engagement & wedding photos exceeded every expectation! She captured priceless moments & emotions that bring back "all the feels". Our family & friends all commented on how professional & fun Casey was to work with; not to mention their mutual love for our photos! I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Casey! I can't wait for life's next big moments so we can work with her again! <3 <3 <3
From the moment we met Casey, we knew we could have not made a better decision when it came to capturing our wedding day. Casey makes you feel like she has known you for years, and...
that your day is just as important to her as it is to you. She is kind, sweet, knowledgeable, dedicated, and sincere in all she does. She made us feel so comfortable during everything and helped our day go better than we ever thought it could. If you book Casey- you will not only have beautiful and timeless memories to cherish forever-you will also have a new and unforgettable friend.
I spent hours looking for a photographer for our wedding. Literally hours. I had my search pretty much narrowed down when I stumbled upon Casey's work (not sure how I missed it at ...
first, honestly!) I emailed her and then waited anxiously to hear back on her prices and availability, assuming that based on her work and website there was no way she'd be free - and if she was there'd be no way she was in our budget.
Not only was Casey free but her price was much lower than many of the other photographers who were producing work on her level. We met with two photographers to help us make our decision and knew almost I immediately we had to book her.
Her photos speak for themselves. From the moment our blog posts (engagement pictures and then later wedding pictures) went up my phone was buzzing non-stop with people telling me how amazing everything was. She's got a great eye and I does an amazing job of telling your day's story with the pictures. She's also so fun to work with.
She comes across as super laid back and easy going (which is great as it keeps the mood fun and light) but nothing about her work feels that way. She's in a million places at once and constantly anticipating where to be next.
Honestly, I think I can be a little tough to please when it comes to stuff like this and I truly have zero complaints. We're not in a rush to have kids but I already know that the moment the time comes she'll be the one taking our family pictures. I would recommend her fully and completely without hesitation.
Where do we even begin. We have gotten to know Casey over the last two years. From the first initial meeting, we knew that she was the perfect photographer for us. She is the most ...
sincere, kind hearted, charismatic person we have ever met. She instantly makes you feel comfortable, and literally became a part of our family. Everyone at the wedding, was raving about how amazing she was. Her energy level is infectious, and she brings out the best in you for your pictures. Take it from us, she is worth every penny and then some. We have gained a friend for life, and we are in love with all of her work. She has such talent and is becoming a name to reckon with. Hire her and see for yourself, it will be the best and easiest decision you make during your wedding planning journey. Thank you for everything Casey, we love you!

Simple put Casey is amazing. I had been obsessed with her work prior to getting engaged and once we started wedding planning I knew exactly who I wanted to capture our special day....
The day of our wedding I honestly felt like she was part of the wedding party. She just fit in so naturally. She has a way of capturing moments that you never knew you wanted. I feel like I found a photographer that my husband and I will go to over and over again. We can't wait for her to capture more of our memories.
I have to say that I'm completely biased about our photographer (I went to high school with her) but she truly is a gem! Casey makes you feel SO comfortable throughout the entire p...
rocess. You can tell how much she truly enjoys what she does and that positivity and energy comes through in her pictures. The images she captures are truly breathtaking. The best part about Casey (in my opinion) is the way she is able to get the "real" photos. Not the posed, "look this way" pictures, but the moments that you want to always remember about your wedding day. Her photographic abilities are amazing - I honestly cannot say enough great things about this professional and fun individual. Casey, thank you a million times for making our day so special. I'm appreciative of the images that you caught, that you were there the ENTIRE day to make sure things went smoothy and that you made my husband and I feel like royalty. I have recommended Casey to MANY engaged friends and I know that we will use Casey again in the future!
We loved Casey! You dont know she is there after all the formal shots and is very easy going! The pictures are BEAUTIFUL she really catches everything to tell the story of the day!...
We will use her again for family photos and whatever else!
We utilized Casey MacKenzie for our engagement and wedding photos. She is simply the best. Casey is very down to earth and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She...
is able to capture emotion in every photo she takes. On the day of the wedding, we didn't even know Casey was there. She was able to somehow stay in the background all while capturing every moment and nuance of our day. Amazing. I will absolutely be using Casey in the future.
From our very first meeting with Casey, I knew she would be our wedding photographer. She is energetic and organized, but also warm and spontaneous. We did an engagement session ...
with her, and although I was nervous because I usually look so dorky in pictures, somehow she helped us relax and we really enjoyed it. On our wedding day we were able to just be ourselves and she was present at all the right times, yet never obtrusive. She clearly wanted us to be present in every moment and enjoy our day, and not put on a show for the pictures ... what she produced is a beautiful record of everything that happened throughout the day, the tender moments, the funny moments, the spectacular fireworks exit ... all gorgeous photos!!!
