I was a very hands-off bride (busy work and family schedule) so I relied on Casey's expertise and direction completely. I am still blown away by the magic we created with the extremely minimal effort I contributed! As a mother of two, Casey is also the type of person you want around when stress levels get high as they tend to do with weddings! It could have been a disaster when my mom accidentally locked my keys in my car before we even started shooting my bridals, but calm Casey didn't think twice about climbing through the back of my car to grab the keys and avert crisis-mode. She is a joy to be around and exudes an experienced and professional energy that eases even the most anxious mind. Casey's creativity and flexibility allowed us to come up with an alternative to the traditional "send off" photos so we could get the most out of our reception (which we were thoroughly enjoying) and still get the big end-of-the-night shot that we will certainly be blowing up and framing in our house along with many others. Above all else, Casey is a genuine, wonderful person who I consider a friend after all she helped me go through (including having to postpone the wedding for almost a year due to Covid). I cannot recommend her highly enough, and I'm so thankful she was our photographer! I can't wait to follow her journey and see what she does next!

I could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day. Despite us living out of state, Casey worked with us from the very beginning to get to know us and exactly what we wanted. Let me tell you, she knows the city of New Orleans like the back of her hand! I was amazed at all the hidden gems throughout the city that she took us for some incredible photos. She went above and beyond to help make our photos perfect – she even carried around my lipstick for touch-ups as needed! Even in the middle of Mardi Gras with tons of people all around, she was able to capture the romance and history of that amazing City. She even threw in some fun photos of us being goofy and enjoying the crowds. Casey for sure has a passion for photography and will go out of her way to make you feel comfortable and because of this, her photos come out so beautiful. I highly recommend Casey for natural and unique images that will capture your special day in ways you’d never imagine. We visit New Orleans annually will definitely be using Casey again for some anniversary photos next time. I can’t wait!

Casey McMurray is AWESOME. I am so so happy with the entire process. From the get go she was always on top of communications even with a new baby on the way - answering quickly, efficiently, and wanting to meet in person to get to know us. I felt like she truly cared about us and had our best interests in mind. On the wedding day she was very open, honest, direct and supportive when things were going wrong. She’s so much fun and put genuine smiles and laughter on my wedding party’s faces. She captured intimate / emotional moments with class - never making us feel watched or uncomfortable. The photos were back to us quickly but didn’t feel rushed. Detailed instructions and again great communication came with them. And WOW. The photos are stunning. I could not be happier with my photographer choice. This is one wedding thing you don’t want to skimp on. I was truly blown away.

I’ve always had a hard time when having my photo taken but Casey made me feel so beautiful and natural for my prebridals. For our wedding, she was completely professional and so helpful the entire time. Even at 8 months pregnant, she was doing everything she could to make sure we got photos of all my family and all the small details. I can’t thank her enough for being so attentive and quick to respond. She even had our photos edited in less than two weeks! I highly recommend Casey for any event!

Casey did an amazing job on our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures. My husband and I are not photogenic at all, but she did a great job at directing us, but also making us comfortable infront of the camera. The pictures are absolutely breathtaking. She captured some pretty incredible and special moments between me and my daughters. I tear up every time I look at them. My friends and family cannot believe how beautiful they turned out. She nailed it! I was and still am so excited to share my wedding story. Casey so beautifully captured our nuptials and made suggestions that turned out to be our favorite photographs. She was professional, friendly, and creative. She arrived ahead of time and she really listened to our requests and considered them while shooting. The turnaround time for editing was very quick and we were given a teaser while we waited. The pictures were incredible and she took plenty; so it was difficult to select favorites. And I definitely look forward to working with her again.

After having shot a number of amazing family portraits for my sister-in-law, hiring Casey to document our intimate home wedding was a no-brainer. She was extremely professional but also cool. She expertly helped us to formulate our photography “goals”... and at a transparent price-point. So the big day came and went so quickly! Casey arrived early to set up and figure out her approach based on the lighting. She “got the shots” but also was unobtrusive and calm throughout. Very good energy. The resulting photos (easily viewed in a personalized app!): A fantastic mix of lovely pictures infused with such a great look and mood. Casey really captured the narrative of the day rather than just a series of staged photos. Everyone looks very cool and very stylish and very happy- which is a testament to her great skill at taking the right photos and then carefully editing into the best images. We would hire Casey again in a heartbeat... not just for another “special” day but honestly for anything we would want to beautifully memorialize.

Choosing a photographer will likely be one of the most important decisions you make for your wedding. Going into the process, I knew what I wanted - I wanted my photos to tell a story. I did NOT want an album full of family standing in line at the altar. Casey is the epitome of photo journalism. Her photos from our wedding tell a story, to the point that I opted to not have a videographer. By looking at my images you can see and feel every emotion, facial expression, dance move, tear, kiss- it's all there, you don't need to watch a video. Aside from her ability to tell a story, her professionalism as a photographer and the work product itself far exceeded my expectations. I opted for an engagement session in advance of our wedding, which gave us the chance to get a feel for one another, our likes/dislikes, and how she works. In advance of our shoot, she scouted locations based on my preferences. She also took into consideration lighting and time of day, resulting in photos that look like they're straight out of a magazine. On our wedding day, it was inevitable that yes, there are certain images that are essential - family members we want to ensure we capture, special moments, etc. Those were discussed with Casey thoroughly beforehand and she didn't miss a beat when it came to execution the day of. She does not just show up for the event itself, she is part of the process and part of the timeline. I would have never imagined how much photos can dictate your itinerary, and she reviewed and offered guidance during the development of mine. Out of all the input she offered, that which I'm most grateful for is the conversation we had beforehand regarding a first look. I brought a very traditional perspective to the wedding process, and I didn't think there was any changing my mind when it came to not doing one. She had a very thorough conversation with me regarding the pros and cons of each option, and ultimately I ended up opting to do one. And it was the best decision I ever made. Those images are my favorite from the day! As a new bride, you are itching to see any glimpse of that special day, and to my surprise Casey provided me with a little teaser of a handful of shots just days following the wedding. I've known brides who have literally chosen to "reshoot" post wedding with their spouse because they were unhappy with their inital photos. Do not be that person. Not everything can be recreated. For the amount of effort and guidance you get from Casey, her price point is more than reasonable! Through this process, I not only found a WEDDING photographer but a lifelong photographer. Casey was awesome, especially for a bride that was planning a wedding in New Orleans from CA. She was easy to get a hold of, quick with responses, and available by email or text whenever I needed her. In addition, her knowledge of the city, its nooks and crannies and awesome places to shoot was absolutely priceless. Our pictures turned out great and in all of them the uniqueness of New Orleans and our personalities come through.

Casey McMurray was the photographer for my wedding and she was absolutely fantastic. She was very sweet and kind and at the same time very direct and in complete control before, during, and after the ceremony. It was a relief to have someone with such experience and the ability to coordinate everyone in our wedding party, which I would imagine could be like hearding cats if your photographer was timid or inexperienced. With so much going on during a wedding it’s awesome to have one less thing to worry about. Before the wedding Casey was so easy to coordinate with. She returned every email right away and never grew tired of my constant questions and back and forth emails, she showed great patience and put us at ease. Once we received the photos they were perfect and even better than we could have hoped for. Her prices were also very reasonable and worth every penny. I would strongly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a professional photographer.
