I've never planned a wedding before and she was there to help and answer any questions along the way. (no matter how little or how many times i asked the same questions). Michelle Curry was the most courteous and professional I think i have worked with- and so sweet to boot! She made sure i had everything i needed and guaranteed everything was perfect on the Big Day and honestly she did not fall short. My husband and I made the right choice with this vendor and if we had to do it all again, we'd make the same choices. lowed for a second tasting so our parents could taste the food as well. We did passed appetizers, and a buffet dinner, and everything went very smoothly. Our guests loved the food! We did our desserts through them as well, and they were a big hit! Our only disappointment is that we did not get all the leftover desserts like we had asked. We would have loved to continue to enjoy the food because it was so good. If you want delicious food for your wedding, consider Cass (and definitely ask to try the risotto!)

r or the pulled pork sandwich. I am pretty sure we became wine members on our first visit. We really wanted to do our rehearsal dinner here at Cass but at the end of the day....we realized our rehearsal dinner was going to be anything but intimate, and ending up opting for a welcome party at a brewery for budget's sake. BUT...we did decide to organize a massive wine tasting the day before the wedding and this was our first (and favorite) stop. I worked with management for quite some time and everything was executed flawlessly. We had little sliders, veggies, and cheese platter which ended up being way more food than I anticipated. The wine, we already know is so so so good. Definitely our most expensive stop but 100% worth it. Did I mention we had like 80 people wine tasting? We had everyone set up under the oak tree. People have been asking about Cass ever since! Side note, had we not already considered a venue for the wedding this would have been a top contender. I love everything about Cass, the wine, the food, the property. A lovely place to hold an event. Thanks for hosting us!

gs as simple as possible. And it was. The staff are like a well oiled machine. Especially if you choose your other vendors from their vendor list. (Who are also INCREDIBLE by the way!) We didn’t have a care in the world on the day of our wedding. And I can’t tell you one thing that didn’t go as planned. It was perfect! Michelle, their event coordinator, is epitome of patience, kindness, organization and knowledge. I can not recommend Cass Winery enough. It’s gorgeous!

If possible, be sure to have an in person food and wine tasting to set your menu - Chef Jacob helped us match the food we wanted with what would be in season. It turned out great! If you have specific wines you'd like, make sure to let Michelle know so she can let you know if they are likely to sell out (and then you can usually pre-purchase them). However what truly sets Cass apart is the people. Michelle is absolutely incredible! If you get married here, you should definitely have her coordinate. She helped me so much throughout the planning process, answering all of my random questions in detail and very quickly. She is very skilled, professional, and friendly - you immediately feel at ease with her. And the day of our wedding, she made everything run so smoothly - she always had a glass of rose (our favorite) waiting for us and was patient and in control the whole time. I was so impressed! Sterling, Steve, Ted, Kelley, and the kitchen staff were also wonderful and made the day very special. I actually used to work at Cass Winery in the tasting room about 10 years ago so being able to get married here was very meaningful. Our guests kept commenting on the beautiful setting and the fabulous food and wine. I'd highly recommend getting married at Cass Winery!

nd opted for an Ice Cream Truck (Negronti's) which Cass recommended. When the truck pulled up after dinner, you could hear the excitement! Who doesn't want ice cream?! Plus, having ice cream cones made for some adorable pictures! The ceremony site is under an old, beautiful oak tree and guests walk up this path right next to the grape vines in order to get there. It's absolutely breathtaking and you have shade! Who wants to get married while squinting in the sun? The reception is held right outside their tasting room. They provide farmhouse tables and chairs. I have nothing but good things to say about this venue from the wine, the food, the natural beauty of the vineyard to the amazing staff, servers, chef, owners and do yourself a favor and hire Michelle Curry, the wedding coordinator at Cass to be your day-of rescuer/planner/goddess! You will not regret it!

for our 60 person wedding. All our guests commented on how beautiful the winery and venue were! Michelle was AMAZING!! If I can give a bride one piece of advice, it would be to hire Michelle for your day of services! She worked with me from the time of booking all the way up through the day after the wedding. She made our day absolutely perfect :) The food was top notch and the wine.... just AMAZING. The guest house is also a huge plus! So cute, and so convenient for getting ready on the day of, as well as somewhere to stay on the wedding night. I would recommend Cass to anyone and everyone!!!

et up perfectly in their barrel room, just right for our 50 guest party size. We went formal for that nite, then at our reception we went for a more casual BBQ style. They executed both so well I can truly say what ever style your going for Cass and its employees will deliver! Delicious food, kind and professional people, really made both days so special and rememberable!!

rustic, California wedding. The wedding package is very reasonably priced for everything that comes with it. It includes the wedding and reception site, a 2 night stay in the Cass guesthouse, and use of their vintage Cass cab! The ceremony site is in the middle of the vineyard under a huge oak tree. It is stunning. The ceremony site is outside of the tasting room. There is a second oak tree where the dance floor goes. You also get to use their farmhouse tables which are perfect for the continuation of the rustic vibe. Chef Jacob Lovejoy is unreal. He is an award winning chef and his food is served daily at their cafe. Our menu was vine roasted tri-tip with a Syrah reduction, crab cakes, summer corn, avocado, tomato salad, and butternut squash ravioli with a brown butter sauce. Everyone said the food was some of the best they've ever had at a wedding. Michelle Curry is the wedding coordinator, although her services are not included in the wedding package I HIGHLY recommend you spend the money to have her. She made my wedding 100% stress free both with day of coordinating, taking care of ALL my rentals and communication with my flowers, DJ, rental delivery, cake delivery etc. If there were last minute things that needed to be done, she took care of it. I am so thankful for her. The money spent was well worth having a stress free wedding. The guesthouse is amazing. Its the perfect place to get ready and it looks so cute in photos. They have a vanity that make for some adorable reflection shots and plenty of natural lighting for hair, makeup and photos. There are 3 bedrooms which make it easy for my bridal party to stay with me the night before. Included in the wedding package is 2 bottles of sparkling Marsanne for mimosas while getting ready the day of! Cass wines are also delicious. We served their off label white wine, "The Flying Nymph". Their off label is much cheaper than their regular wine which helped us save money. We also sold the Cass Rose and Grenache. Both were a hit! If you become a wine member you get a great discount on the wine. Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about Cass. From the beautiful venue, the amazing staff, the food, wine, guesthouse and Cass cab! I would 110% recommend anyone who wants a rustic vineyard wedding to Cass!

the day. The customer service and food was so good at Cass that we cancelled the other meeting a soon as we stepped out the door. There was no need to look any further. The event manager Kelley was easy to work with. Chef Jacob was a true joy. Drying our tasting we could feel his pride in his food and his excitement to share it with us as described each dish and receive our feedback. We were excited to be working with him. We tasted two salads from the Cass catering menu, but liked different elements in both salads. They had no problem combining the best of both salads for us. Everything was excellent from the appetizers to the dessert. Our guests continue to rave about the meal more than two weeks later. Our final menu included petit local halibut and braised beef short ribs. Everything was of a high quality, and very well prepared. We had a plated service which was elegantly executed. The staff boxed individual slices of cake for our guests to take home with them, since we had dessert as part of our menu. Everything was executed to our satisfaction. I would definitely use Cass again, and highly recommend them.

they were friendly, kind and made us feel right at home. The views from the ceremony through the last dance are picturesque. I couldn't ask for a better place to get married with perfect weather at the end of May and perfect for a group of 160 guests. Plus, the food is THE BEST!

because she really does make everything seamless. She also saved me when I had just gotten to the reception and someone spilled a whole glass of red wine down the side of my dress. It's not a winery wedding until you wear some wine!! But she got it taken care of in minutes. I didn't even realize what had happened until everyone gasped and next thing I knew she was already blotting it and laughing with me about it. The scenery is breathtaking. We stayed at the guest house which I also recommend because you have a place to get ready day of, and at the end of the night you can take a short ride and you're already there! Totally worth the ease of mind. The catering was awesome, we got tons of compliments on our food. Love Cass and whenever we look at photos we are reminded of what a great time we had. We cannot recommend them enough!

even stayed on the property in their guest house (bonus, you get to use their awesome 1947 Chrysler as your limo). Cass welcomed us, and our guests, with open arms. They were unbelievably accommodating (especially when I got overwhelmed with wedding planning). They understood my vision for my wedding even better than I understood it myself. I could not say better things about them if I tried. The only downside is that you have to rent everything for your ceremony and reception (including plates, silverware, glasses, chairs, linens, and some tables). This brings the price up quite a bit despite the lower venue cost. At the end of the day though I got the wedding of my dreams and I have the Cass family to thank for that! P.S. Their wine is DELICIOUS, even if you don't get married here check out the tasting room while you are in Paso.

he venue is understated but absolutely gorgeous. It took our breath away when we visited the first time. If you're considering a wedding here, you really don't need a lot of decorations; the surroundings do all of the work for you. The wedding tree is like something our of a fairy tale (just thinking about it makes me tear up), and the reception area is so much fun for dining and dancing (we did dancing under the "other" tree, and tables set up right next to it). We used the long wooden tables that Cass owns and they are such a gorgeous, dark wood color; if you are having a wedding of about 100 people or under, forget renting tables -- these are perfect. We decided to go without a dance floor which was a rustic touch for an outdoor wedding. Yes, we got a little dirty from kicking up dust while dancing, but you really don't need a dance floor! Side note -- the reception area is close to a road. I was worried about road traffic and headlights at night, but there was no traffic at all, so not to worry about that. Kelley is an excellent coordinator and walked us through every step of the process. She has generally very good vendor recommendations, especially for flowers (again, ours were PERFECT). Kelley was fun and easy to work with -- a laid back Cali girl and won't force a thing on you. On the day of she kept everything and everyone organized. The food is really, really good. Chef Jacob does a great job, especially with the tri-tip. The team will even make sure to serve your food first so you can eat quickly and make the rounds with your guests! Wish we could do it all over again... our wedding day was really perfect thanks to Cass, and it will always be a special place that we will continue to visit.

and beyond to make the day everything we had imagined. Cass winery is a breathtaking venue, but Kelley's professionalism was really what sold us on Cass as our venue. Leading up to the wedding, she helped us tremendously with planning our layouts, setting up our rentals, and coordinating with our vendors. One of the best parts about having our wedding at Cass was that they are one of the only wineries in the area with a kitchen, so they were able to provide all of the food for our wedding. Their chef, Jacob, has his own garden at the winery, and uses as much produce from his garden or local farms as he can. On the day of the wedding, Kelley and her staff run a seamless and professional operation. Kelley made sure everything happened according to our timeline, and improvised when we needed her to. Some of our family friends helped us out with the wedding that are part of the business in the Bay Area, and they said that Cass Winery's staff were some of the most professional and well run staffs they have ever worked with. We will definitely recommend Cass to anyone that we know as a wedding venue, and as a winery to visit if they are in the area.

g. Prior to the wedding, we were able to sit down with Chef Jacob and have a menu tasting with multiple entrees, salads, and apps. He was completely open to customizing our menu for us and helping to keep costs down. All of his food was great, which made it tough to decide, but in the end we chose a chicken saltimbocca and a flat iron steak with risotto, potatoes, and veggies on the side. My wife and I received rave reviews from our guests and we absolutely enjoyed the food as well. I'd say the best part was that while we were taking our bride and groom photos during cocktail hour, the catering staff prepared us a plate with all the appetizers and specially delivered it to us. They truly made the day special. Chef Jacob also made some creme brulee for out dessert bar. All in all the food was so great that I've since visited Cass Winery to try Jacob's lunch creations and I will be going back again and again. The catering staff provided excellent service and everything was very affordable. I have been recommending them to many friends.

he venue to picking out linens to glasses to plates it was so easy! Any problems that happened with my vendors she was on it. Coordinated with every single vendor of mine to make sure everyone was on track and had what they needed. Cass is a BEAUTIFUL rustic location, a little off the beaten path, but for the price and service you can't find anything better. The food was AMAZING and had a few tastings before we decided on the menu. So much to choose from and everything was delish! They cook right there at the winery so food is hot when arriving to the table, a huge deal for me. They even had a plate waiting for myself and my husband when we sat down. its all about the little things! We got ready at the Cass House which I highly recommend. The host was super sweet and had refreshments ready for us. The house was UNREAL!! SOOO beautiful. The Cass Limo was a perfect touch to the entire night!! Would love to do it all over again!!

n we went for our tasting, Chef Lovejoy and Kelley came to sit with us. They described the menu in detail about how they prepared it and where they got all of their ingredients. We also loved that they paired our tasting with their wines. The vegetables were all grown at the vineyard by the chef himself and the food was delicious. We decided to book Cass Winery to cater our wedding because the food was unbelievable and we loved that it wasn't the "traditional" boring beef wellington and chicken you would receive at any other wedding. We chose the vine smoked tri-tip (smoked with cabernet vines from the vineyard) with smashed garlic potatoes and grilled veggies from their garden and chicken saltimbucco with risotto and grilled veggies. They also created a delicious vegan dish of baked quinoa for our vegan friends and a cheese pizza for the kids in our wedding. Everyone raved about their meal and I loved working on table setting details with Kelley. Kelley was so wonderful and pleasant to work with. She made everything stress free and fun! She printed us menus for the reception and made us feel so comfortable. I had no problem emailing her or calling her with questions and she ALWAYS answered me promptly. We highly recommend Cass catering!!
