I was really happy with my wedding hair and makeup and would recommend working with the Cassandra Kennedy team! I thought they also did a wonderful job on the bridesmaids and mothe...
r of bride/groom's hair/makeup, as well. The previews and day-of process feel collaborative and the team does a great job of drawing out someone’s natural beauty without overdoing it. They are accommodating and really listen - when there were some aspects from my makeup preview that I didn’t love, they worked with me to see how we could prep my skin differently or try alternate products to get the desired look. They take their craft seriously and are knowledgeable about how and why something might or might not work. On my wedding day, Kendahl and Alyssa brought the best low-stress, fun energy to the getting-ready room, and they did an amazing job managing everyone’s requests, schedules, and got us done on time (if not early!) looking and feeling our best.
Where to begin! Working with Cassandra and her team for my wedding hair and makeup was honestly a dream come true. Cassandra is an amazing person - she truly cares for her clients...
so much and I felt like she was so invested in me and my wedding weekend. She was so kind and accommodating at each stage of the process. I had the best time with Cassandra and Mai at my hair and makeup trial as we worked together to design my wedding day look - they are both so talented. Cassandra and Mai did my makeup and hair for my Friday night welcome party and helped me create the most glamorous, fun look. I opted for a more timeless look on my wedding day and Cassandra and Mai delivered - I felt absolutely beautiful. Cassandra's entire team also helped my mom, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids look and feel so beautiful. Cassandra's lovely and calming presence truly had such an important impact on my wedding day - she anticipated every move and need throughout the day. I loved having her there for seamless touch ups throughout the morning, pre-wedding photos, and after the ceremony before our first dance and reception. I loved every part of working with Cassandra and her team and truly couldn't recommend her more highly - I can't imagine my wedding day without her!
Cassandra was the perfect choice for me because I really wanted someone who could make me a more beautiful version of myself. I don't normally wear much makeup for my everyday look...
(or do much with my hair tbh), so I didn't want to look like I had it caked on (or look like a different person) on my wedding day - I wanted the romantic natural look and Cassandra totally delivered!!
She was super understanding and flexible when our original wedding date had to be rescheduled due to COVID, and she has such a funny personality - she totally lightened the mood and kept me from getting too nervous.
I have never felt so beautiful, like an enhanced version of myself. I also want to commend Cassandra on tackling my super thick unruly Asian hair. Our trial run proved very beneficial as both the hair and makeup turned out perfectly for our wedding - even better than I could've imagined. Thank you so much Cassandra!
We've had the pleasure of referring clients to Cassandra and her team for several years. All of our brides and their ladies have loved their looks. I took this referral for granted...
until having Cassandra do bridesmaid makeup on me. As a new mom, there haven't been many days where I've worn much makeup and I haven't really felt like myself in... well, years. Cassandra made me feel so beautiful - a younger, fresher, more alive (awake) version of myself. She's truly an artist and such a sweet person to boot. Thank you, Cassandra for not only taking care of all of our ladies over the years, but for making me feel beautiful too. You're a gem!
I was looking for someone who could provide a more natural look for my wedding day, and I am thrilled I found Cassandra Kennedy for my hair and makeup services. Paige did an amazin...
g job styling 7 people's hair and helping a couple very nervous and some very demanding wedding party members feel comfortable and happy. And Renee and Liz did an outstanding job on makeup, working to meet each person's individual style.
Overall, Cassandra Kennedy was extremely responsive, happy to answer any questions, and organized. I would highly recommend them.
Can I give more than 5 stars?? Cassandra and her assistant did a stellar job with bridal and bridal-party hair and makeup for my summer wedding. She is funny, no-fuss, honest, and ...
so chill/calm (very important on your Big Day!) Super professional-- arrived EARLY and brought all her own setup equipment. My mom was so thrilled with how Cassandra did up her short, tricky curly hair-- such a pretty MOB-do! She ALSO pulled off some kind of magic with my hair-- seriously, the girl has some real tricks up her sleeve and was able to install a hairpiece in my super-fine, super-thin hair for a gorgeous updo that looked totally real. It held up like concrete, too, even with a veil-stepping-incident pulling at it, and a windy/sweaty day. My makeup was perfect-- exactly what I wanted! It looked like the prettiest version of me, without seeming like I had a ton of makeup on. She even did eyelash extensions! The makeup also held up beautifully for the whole wedding, no running mascara even with tears... I felt guilty cleaning it off at the end of the day! Most of all, though, she was a calm and soothing presence during a very hectic get-ready. She even stayed later than her contracted time to help out my photographer, and touch me up during our first looks, and wrangled my wedding party too. Cassandra was my wedding HERO and I am so grateful to her. She truly went WAY above and beyond-- so worth the pricing. HIGHLY recommend!
PS--- her assistant artist did an awesome job, too-- my stepdaughter is obsessed with makeup and said it was the BEST makeup job she's ever had (high praise!)
Cassandra is the real deal. Not only is she an exceptionally talented hair and makeup artist, but she is a wonderful woman to work with. She and her assistant, Paige, did a phenome...
nal job on the hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and my three bridesmaids. Everyone was so pleased with how they looked, all thanks to Cassandra's excellence! I cannot recommend Cassandra highly enough.
I really loved working with Cassandra. The trial run was great...I wasn't sure what I wanted until we did the trial. Sometimes you think you know what you want but then you do it a...
nd you realize it's not quite right. She offered honest feedback and that is really helpful to an indecisive person (like me). I chose the Tint package which gave me a trial run for my hair and makeup, my wedding day hair and makeup, my mom's hair and makeup and my maid of honor's hair and makeup. Everyone looked beautiful. Nobody looked overdone. Cassandra has the ability to create a wide variety of looks but nobody ever looks overdone. She's an artist and a delight. I had so much fun working with her and she did a fantastic job. I really hope I see her again someday because she's a beautiful human being, inside and out. She's also very patient and she helped me keep it together that morning. She also gave me a little touch up pack so I could refresh makeup which really came in handy.
If I have one regret it's that I wish I had opted to have her come with us to the photo shoot because wind, warmth and walking around took a tiny toll on my hair and makeup. It held up all night thanks to her skill but I wish I had her around for a bit of a touch up after the photo shoot. Tip for the bride considering that extra service: DO that. It's worth it!
Thank you so much, Cassandra!

p with the perfect hair and makeup for the wedding day. I really wasn't sure if I needed to do a full trial but it was so worth it. She addressed all of my concerns ( ugg, droopy eyelids!) and made me look glamorous without being too 'made up'. I had my makeup done somewhere else for my engagement photos and felt like a drag queen. With Cassandra, it was enough makeup and big enough hair to show up on film but I still felt comfortable at the wedding. This was one item that I debated in the wedding budget but it was definitely worth it!
