About this vendor
Hi! My name is Cassidy Elise. I'm a freelance/destination hair & makeup artist and have been in the wedding industry for the last 9 years. I specialize in hair and makeup for shoots, events, and film but will always have a soft spot for my brides. I love giving my clients confidence and letting their inner beauty shine with my natural, glowy glam look (that never overpowers one's natural beauty). I'm so happy I found my passion at an early age and I truly feel as though I've never worked a day in my life!
Ask any of my past brides and they will tell you I am a patient and calming presence on your wedding day. I live to please and never stop until every detail is perfect. It's your special day and I am here to make sure it's everything you dreamt of and then some!
You should be able to tell from my gallery that I have a signature "look" that is both natural and romantic. My brides don't lose themselves in a sea of makeup and crazy hairdo's- they look like their most elevated selves. While hair and makeup translating well for photos is important, I believe we can find a balance where it's enough for photos but you feel comfortable and confident with your look in person as well. The best!

Cassidy was great to work with! While she was not the one doing my hair and makeup, since she moved to Hawaii just before my wedding, she was great about making the referrals for m...
e for other artists she has worked with before. She stayed in touch with me after the move and kept up with coordination of the trials with the new artists and the scheduling of the getting ready for the day of. She’s great! Highly recommend!
Cassidy is a miracle worker. She really made my vision come to life. It was so nice having her make you feel your best. She really listens to how you envision yourself and make it ...
come to life. I was really insecure about some breakouts I had cuz of wedding stress and she made them disappear. And it lasted all night, no touch ups necessary
I'm not a daily makeup wearer and requested the most natural look possible, but with a noticeable difference that I am actually wearing some makeup and she exceeded my expectations...
from the trial to my wedding day. She also did my mom's, grandma's, and bridesmaids' makeup as well and everyone loved her! Our makeup lasted ALL DAY (even with the happy tears) and she also provided us with lip touch-ups for the day. I strongly recommend her!
Cassidy was amazing! I would 100% recommend her to any bride. During my trial she really took the time to understand the look I was going for. She made and noted all of the changes...
that I would want to the look based on the end look of the trial and executed perfectly on my wedding day.
Also I have to mention that she’s a freakin magician and must use whatever products that Taylor Swift’s makeup artist uses because my makeup and hair withstood a huge Texas thunderstorm in the evening after my husband I decided we wanted pics in the rain!
Cassidy was an absolutely incredible hair and makeup artist for my wedding. The venue I booked provides a recommended vendor list, but after exploring the HMU artists they suggest...
ed, I thought the options just weren't quite right for me. Wedding makeup, especially for winter weddings, can often look heavy and overdone.
I found Cassidy on The Knot and never looked back! She knows how to accentuate your own glowing features rather than painting a new face on you. The look was soft and natural. Cassidy really listened well, and she was so patient. I asked her to do hair and makeup for my mother, my best friend, my two nieces, and me. We had a fun "girls morning" before the wedding, and when Cassidy finished with us, we all felt so beautiful and elegant.
I was also a very leaky bride but the makeup didn't budge all night! Cassidy did such great work. I would book her again in a heartbeat.
Cassidy did such an amazing job on my HMU for my wedding. Loved everything she did - such a natural look and perfect waves. Exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend 🩵

at makeup DID NOT move or fade through an entire night of dancing. I looked just as good before going to bed as I did when I walked down the aisle. I had so many people compliment me on how natural and stunning the makeup was. As someone who had a lot of imposter syndrome about not feeling "bridal" as a person, Cassidy was honestly a lifesaver. She was so sweet and so kind. She listened to me, looked at pictures of my dress, and guided me in all the right directions. I would book her again in a heartbeat. I would book her just to study what she does and pick her brain. She is truly an artist!

meanor which is especially important when there is the chaos of a wedding day. I loved how she pivoted from our hair trial look because it was especially warm on that Texas Spring day and made it more slick with extra hair spray to avoid frizz. My hair and makeup lasted throughout the night looking great! I highly recommend Cassidy for your beauty needs!

ed flawless in every photo. I showed her some pictures and she knew exactly what I wanted and it came out perfect. The makeup felt so good on and not too heavy. It lasted all night. She was very professional and stayed in constant contact with me with any questions I had. She was so sweet to be around and you could tell she was very passionate about making the bride feel her best!

The make-up and hair trial was a fantastic experience. Cassidy took the time to understand the look I wanted and offered valuable suggestions based on my skin tone and features. She created a stunning bridal look that was exactly what I envisioned.
On the wedding day, Cassidy arrived punctually and remained calm and focused throughout the process. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and she made sure every member of the bridal party looked and felt beautiful. My make-up and hair lasted flawlessly through the entire wedding, which is a testament to her skill and choice of products.
Not only is Cassidy incredibly talented, but she is also a joy to be around. Her warm personality and calming presence were just what I needed on such a hectic day. I highly recommend her to any bride-to-be looking for a talented, professional, and personable make-up artist. Thank you, Cassidy Elise Artistry, for making me feel like the most beautiful bride on my special day!

talented (best makeup and hair I have ever had done for anything hands down)! I am lucky to have booked her for my September wedding and my bridesmaids were obsessed with their makeup too! I can’t get over how talented she is. If you have the opportunity to work with her, you will NOT be disappointed. She is extremely professional and focused and I wish she still lived in Austin but I am excited for her as she starts a new adventure in California!

ings I had been in before! I always turned out looking dry and dull. I booked Cassidy based solely off her Instagram pictures because EVERYONE she did looked glowy, bright, natural but glammed. I never once doubted her ability. My trial was great and all I told her was “I want your signature look!”. We made some adjustments on my hair the day of the wedding and I absolutely loved how everything turned out. I had never felt more confident or beautiful in my own skin!

keup stayed all night, and stayed on schedule in the hours leading up to the ceremony. My bridesmaids (9 girls!!), mother-in-law, and mom are still raving about how much they loved their hair and makeup months after my wedding. The environment of the bridal suite while we were getting ready was fun and stress free, and I owe a lot of that to Cassidy. She is professional, organized, detail-oriented, talented, and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

and makeup trial because I lived out of town. During the trial she listened to all my requests and made sure that it was exactly as I wanted before I left. I felt so confident and beautiful on the day of the wedding and my hair and makeup kept the entire night (which I was worried about since I had my hair down). My bridesmaids all loved their hair and makeup and I couldn't have imagined the wedding without her!
