Truly blown away by Cassie’s artistry and professionalism across our wedding weekend. She’s definitely someone you want on your day-of team: calm, collected, poised, and an expert at directing people for portraits in the most natural, unobtrusive way. Her turnaround time for the sneak peeks was incredibly fast, and she’s also been responsive throughout the entire planning process and post-wedding. We had multiple guests come up to us to ask about her background, and I think that speaks not only to her creative vision but also to her execution on logistics. I was drawn in by her ability to find poetry in the small moments and her talent at capturing golden hour as you’ll quickly see if you explore her portfolio. After booking her, there was just a huge wave of relief because we knew we were in really good hands and didn’t have to worry about anything. That proved to be true on our wedding day. In addition to being the primary photographer, she managed 2-3 other photographers beautifully, and it was so seamless and stress-free. I’ll caveat that her rates are on the more premium side, but after doing extensive research, I was certain she was in the top 1% of lifestyle photographers, and if there’s any wedding advice I’ve received multiple times, it’s to not skimp on your photography! Your investment is well worth it. Couldn’t recommend her more!

Cassie is simply the best! We found Cassie while perusing pictures from the venue we ultimately decided on for our small intimate wedding ceremony. We were immediately drawn to her pictures because there is such a beautifully authentic quality to them! After talking over the phone with her, we decided to have her photograph our engagement pictures as well! Both of us were nervous going into the photoshoot never having posed for professional pictures before, but she so quickly put us at ease. We had an ambitious plan to have pictures taken at several places that were meaningful to us and Cassie made it work and gave us a realistic timeline. The pictures were beautiful and exactly what we had hoped for...one of our favorite pictures is a candid picture of us laughing when my husband misheard Cassie's direction to lean to the side and instead stuck out his tongue. It was a quick fleeting moment, but she was ready to capture it thoughtfully and beautifully! She photographed our intimate covid micro-wedding spring of 2021. Cassie did an amazing job of rallying our guests for formal pictures while also capturing the small candid moments that are easy to pass up but now we can look back at them again and again because she did such an amazing job! Just this past month, we had a one year anniversary reception to have a larger celebration with our family and friends and we felt so lucky that Cassie was willing to be our photographer again. We just received our gallery and we have been basking in re-living all the beautiful moments. Cassie is a gem and her art is thoughtful and intentional. We cannot recommend her enough as your photographer!

Cassie is an absolute pro and has a dreamy, romantic aesthetic that made our engagement and wedding photos epic. She's also really good at helping you (and your relatives) pose in a natural, flattering way. She shoots on both film and digital so you get the best of both worlds.

I found Cassie here on The Knot when I was looking for a photographer in San Francisco to take our pics at City Hall. I am from Miami so I didn't know any photographers and we were not gonna get a chance to do engagement pictures. I also had less than a month to book a photographer. I was really nervous about making this choice due to the lack of time and fear of not getting exactly what I wanted which was clear pictures with lots of natural light and little to no filters. I am very happy we made the choice to book Cassie; we definitely made the right choice. Cassie was very communicative, friendly, and helpful from the beginning. She was always available to answer our questions and even meet with us via video call. She was also very accommodating to our availability and wishes. Our pictures came out absolutely beautiful, better than I ever imagined! The lighting was perfect and we loved the poses she recommend. I strongly recommend her.

I initially met Cassie when I volunteered to help some close friends with their family portrait session as the official puppy wrangler. I have always felt uncomfortable in front of a camera but after seeing Cassie at work, I knew I had to reach out about my own upcoming wedding. Like most 2020 brides, it has been a roller coaster of a year. We postponed our celebration but decided to elope in Big Sur, just the two of us. On the day, I woke up feeling very bittersweet, especially without my family and friends there with us. I was questioning if this was the right decision for us but now we look back and know this is the day that got us through the most difficult year of our lives. Cassie truly went above and beyond to make it special for us -- scouting the best sites for pictures, facilitating a sweet first look, helping us feel comfortable and like ourselves in front of the camera, giving direction when we were feeling a little hesitant. It was initially difficult for me to trust one person with how our day was going to look but I would do it again in a heartbeat. The pictures really speak for themselves. Cassie is incredibly talented, professional, committed, easy to work with, and truly brought out the best in both of us. I will cherish these pictures for the rest of my life.

Cassie did an amazing job capturing our wedding photos. She was flexible with our scheduling despite the fact that we booked her with about a month's notice. I found Cassie through my wedding planner Events by Satra. I was interested in having someone with experience with Indian weddings. Cassie was so prompt in replying and sharing photos from Indian weddings (plural!) that she had photographed. My first thought was shock when I saw those photos and now, when I see my own gallery of wedding photos. Cassie is an amazing photographer! She made my entire wedding look so bright, light, sophisticated, elegant, and just.... perfect. She is so great at directing couples and made it so comfortable for us follow her directions and not feel awkward. In fact, she helped us loosen up and have fun with it, and it really shows in the photos. She's professional, has a fantastic energy, a great attitude and a good sense of humor. My husband in particular was impressed - and he didn't understand why I was painstakingly selecting our photographer! Overall I am so happy we chose her and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Cassie is the real deal! My husband and I had the privilege of hiring Cassie to take our pictures only two weeks before our wedding date after needing to change our plans due to COVID. Cassie was so accommodating, flexible and wonderful and she really helped to put us at ease during a stressful time. Cassie is an incredible talent and a joy to work with. She was our photographer at our wedding, and nearly a year after the wedding, I look back at the photos as delighted with how they turned out as the very first time I saw them. She captured the event perfectly and was very professional and great to work with from the very first time we met. Cassie is the best photographer I've ever met and best vendor of my wedding. Our wedding planner group sent us several photographers to choose from. Out of 10 recommendations, I love Cassie's clean, bright and modern style. I arranged the engagement session with Cassie so that we can get to know each other before the wedding as we are not good at taking photos and making poses etc. It turns out great!! Cassie is super friendly and gave us lots of instructions on poses and angels. We got the sneak peak 1 hr after the photo shooting! Based on the engagement photos, we made some adjustment when taking photos like looking at cameras more naturally. Cassie is very professional and carrying several different cameras as well as films the whole times. My bridesmaid who works in media industry told me she is impressed by the speed of Cassie changing the film of camera. We got the sneak peak later on the wedding day. Our guests love their photos on our wedding too. We plan to have Cassie take our couple photos in summer every year. We have to skip this year due to COVID-19 unfortunately. The price of photography is not cheap but Cassie totally worth it and it's the best value and memory we got for sure!

I was beyond lucky to have Cassie photograph my destination wine country wedding along with two members of her team. Cassie is so wonderful I have no words! My family is a little pushy so I was worried about them letting her do a good job but I was impressed on how she handled everyone!! My partner and I are both awkward and camera shy and she made us feel at ease. We had a small city hall wedding and booked her for two hours and I felt the time was perfectly managed. I was nervous and having her around made it so much easier because she also helped us navigate around City Hall. Cassie is a joy to work with! My husband and I have had the pleasure of having Cassie take our photos on two occasions and both times we were blown away by the pictures. She was easily one of the best wedding vendors we worked with - she is dedicated to coming early, staying late and talking to you before your event to make sure she captures all the moments perfectly. In Indian ceremonies there are a lot of tiny moments and she found them all AND coralled all the guests into group shots. We recently also had an anniversary shoot in Paris, France that she planned beautifuly d from afar and the resulting photos are gorgeous. Not only did Cassie capture all the details of our completely DIY backyard garden wedding - we made everything - he made our rings, I wove the fabric and tailored his vest, sewed my dress, made paper rose bouquets and all the other decorations. After doing a ton of research for engagement photos, we hired Cassie because we loved her light aesthetic. Pricing was quite reasonable, and she was able to capture us in several locations. We were very impressed with her professionalism and we felt sooo comfortable during our shoot! One thing to highlight is that she shoots on film, so the quality of photos is much higher than your typical digital photo. Cassie is the BEST. I don't know how else to say it. She was my first choice, and she was worth every. penny. Not only is energy extremely chill (essential on a wedding day) and non-invasive (essential for natural, candid photos), she is talented, loving, transparent, and it's obvious that she LOVES what she does. The memories she captured for us were stunning and authentic, and if I did it all over again, the only thing I would change is hiring her to capture the rehearsal dinner as well. Cassie is a super talented, professional and passionate photographer who is exceptionally friendly and adorable! When I first got in touch with Cassie through email, I was immediately certain that she is the photographer I want for my pre-wedding session! She is very patient in answering all my queries, and proactive in suggesting the venues and vendors for our session. She also pays great attention to client's request - I requested once that I would like some double-exposure effects for my photos through a phone call with her and then never mentioned again. She kept that in mind and during our session, she was very dedicated to sort out any postures and backgrounds for such purpose in order to cater for my request, which is very impressive! And if you are one of those people who do not love taking photos or find yourself not acting naturally in front of cameras, Cassie is definitely the photographer you are looking for! She gave clear instructions and suggestions on how to pose and at the same time made us feel very natural and enjoyable throughout the session. She knows the best spots to shoot in (even some hidden gem in SF!). Cassie is also a very considerate vendor - she brought her car to wash right before our session just to make sure that we would have a nice place to transit and to change our outfits! Also, she is extremely professional in a way that every time we arrived a spot for shooting, she immediately told us where to stand and how to pose without wasting a single second. My husband and I loved working with Cassie for our wedding! We had a two day long wedding so there were A LOT of photos to take but Cassie made sure that it happened and more. We had a lot of day of requests as well and Cassie took all of those with a smile. Two things that we really loved about working with her: 1. She has a great eye! Her style is stunning on her website but is breathtaking when you see yourself in the photos that she takes. My husband and I love every photo that she took and she really captured all the happiness and love during those days. 2. She was very calm. This is important for your big day, you don't want vendors that give off a stressful or unhappy energy. Cassie was always very cool, calm and collected-- even when she had to gather 20 + people for a family photo :) I highly recommend Cassie -- you will be so happy that you hired her to capture such a special day.

From the moment I spoke with Cassie, I was immediately at ease. She is so easy going and relatable (have you read her bio?), and her vast experience was so valuable in walking us through our own wedding planning. To add some color, we had a split venue due to our morning ceremony, door games and a tea ceremony inbetween the 7 hour break, with over 200 guests at the banquet. Despite our large guest list, Cassie was able to deliver our album in exactly one month. The final curation was so thoughtfully chosen, edited, and arranged. Each photo was relative the next, stringing together a series of expressions that told the story of our special day. The shyness captured between my partner and I during our first look, even with 6 years under our belt (those were some of my favorites). The crazed, yet some how perfect shots of my face when I laugh, even with my mouth wide open. Mike's love when he smiles at his grandma. Our parents' open pride and joy. Cassie took all of these fleeting moments and held them still, so that I could relive one of the happiest days of my life twice. Cassie has a gift of capturing people and places in an honest and beautiful light. Her photography, much like herself, has a very natural and weightless charm. Cassie is an absolute dream to work with. I'm so glad I was able to book her for my wedding. It means investing in a passionate, wedding industry professional, who will come alongside you during wedding planning, answer any and all questions, and help you think through details you wouldn't necessarily have even considered. She is thorough, timely, detailed, and loves love - what more could you ask for? We booked Cassie for both our engagement and wedding photos. I was on the fence about the engagement photos and ultimately decided it was best for me and future-husband to get used to having our pictures taken - I was right. Cassie made us feel comfortable and also helped assure us that our natural selves (which tended to be laughing selves) really would be the best selves for photos. Phew! Another plus - she was totally down with having our pup join the session and was an absolute dog expert in getting him to pose for the camera! Cassie goes above and beyond - she arrived early (at no extra cost!) at my wedding venue to capture extra shots and not feel rushed. Additionally, though I hadn't planned to add a second shooter to the wedding, she'd updated her wedding packages in the months I'd been engaged, and also included an assistant - at no extra cost. When our wedding videographer fell through ~2 weeks prior to our wedding day, I reached out to Cassie wanting some guidance and recommendations from a wedding industry professional. She was so kind, understanding, and helpful - within a week, through her referral, who referred his trusted friend, my now-husband and I booked a videographer who we love even more than the original booking! Cassie truly values what's best for the soon-to-be married couple and does all that she can to capture all the special moments. Thank you so much, Cassie!

We fell in love with Cassie's work, but were also blown away by her professionalism and how much fun she was on our wedding day. She did an amazing job orchestrating the photo shoot, and was really just amazingly fun to hang out with on our wedding day. I do not have enough wonderful things to say about Cassie!! We just love her work and everyone we show our photos to is blown away. Cassie is so easy to work with. From our very first email, to meeting in person, to day of details, she is organized and a joy to talk to. I love her friendly, sweet, easy going personality. It let us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We did an engagement shoot on location at our favorite place, Carmel, and she had such wonderful ideas to capture the feel of the little town in our photos. We even brought our dog in for a portion of the shoot - a big shepherd. It was fantastic! On the wedding day, everything went so smooth! We had lots of fun with the first look, pre-ceremony, post-ceremony, and sunset photos! We are very happy we chose Cassie as our wedding photographer. We loved the brightness of her photography and got a good vibe during our 'facetime' interview with her. The engagement session was very smooth and easy; and a great practice session before the actual wedding. She was very professional and the photos turned out just as we had hopped. the wedding also went very smooth (at least it felt that was to us). We appreciate the coaching and how she took charge when it was needed to keep things moving. Her and her assistant were a pleasure to work with. all of the photos turned out awesome!

Cassie is such a pro and an absolute joy to work with. She is focused, detailed, and a pleasure to be around. The entire process was painless for us - before our wedding, Cassie advised on shot locations and other details. We also did a walkthrough of the venue with her, which was super helpful. On the day of, she handled everything with professional ease, dealing with shot timing, participants and locations. We knew the results would be fantastic from the moment we saw Cassie in action, but were of course blown away when we received our final photos from her as well.

Cassie was fantastic! She came to us through a referral from a co-worker who knew her personally and had Cassie photograph their wedding. Through the planning process Cassie was very responsive and thorough. She plan all of our family pictures and who we wanted photos with so it was very easy the day of the wedding. We let her take creative license with the pre-wedding, ceremony and reception photos and I couldn't have imagined them to be more beautiful. She was very upbeat and extremely patient with our wandering family members during family photos. We really appreciated that Cassie sent us a preview of our album just a short week after the weeding. It was great to be able to show those to our close friends and family. When we received the remainder of our pictures, were able to see details we missed the day of and made it possible to relive the wonderful memories of our big day. We truly got our money's worth and highly recommend Cassie!

Cassie is by far the best photographer I have ever worked with. Being a bride is extremely stressful, and can feel like you're juggling a million to-dos at once. Cassie is so easy to talk to, and I felt comfortable knowing that photos were off my plate after just our first conversation. She is very attentive to all the details, and genuinely cares about making sure she captures them. Also, asking my husband to be photographed for an hour for an engagement session was like pulling teeth. After a few minutes into our session, she had him comfortable posing in a busy city square! Cassie is the BEST photographer you’ll ever find! She did two sets of photos for me— one was a scheduled shoot, and the other was my proposal! She is so great at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera, even my fiancé (who normally feels silly posing for photos) had a blast! Instead of having you pose for minutes at a time, Cassie has a natural ability to capture the moment quickly and painlessly, so you can focus on having an amazing time! For the proposal shoot, Cassie went undercover and hid behind bushes to get the perfect shots, and they are the most cherished photos I’ll ever have. If you are planning a proposal and want professional photos of that special moment, definitely look no further. The proposal photos turned out AMAZINGLY, and she stuck around afterwards to get some beautiful post-proposal photos that my family absolutely loved. Cassie definitely goes above and beyond. On top of all of the magic she works during the shoot itself, she is just a dream to work with. She is not only able to anticipate your photography needs, she is super personable, very responsive, and turns out gorgeous photos so quickly! Her portfolio speaks for itself. We absolutely loved working with Cassie for our City Hall wedding! She is so sweet, incredibly talented, and truely passionate about her work. Cassie had great suggestions and showed us several examples of locations to take some photos before our ceremony. She was always quick to respond and was so helpful leading up to our wedding. Cassie was AMAZING!!! She's so professional, sweet, and SUPER talented! The posed family photos flew by and were SO organized. Our wedding party had so much fun modeling for her creative photo ideas. Our guests were so impressed at how Cassie and her assistant photographer Rebekah were everywhere all the time, without being intrusive to the festivities. My husband and I were never pulled away from our reception for pictures (like we wanted) and the candid shots from the reception are incredible! After a perfect night of feeling like a celebrity rather than a prop for photos, Cassie sent us a preview of about 40 pictures the NEXT morning!!! That alone was enough for a 5 star review, let alone how BEAUTIFUL every single picture is! I didn't have a videographer, and I don't regret it one bit because Cassie's photos capture everyone's emotions and the night's events so well.
