we would find a location near our hometown of Terre Haute, IN. Marshall, IL is just 40 minutes away, and after a drive through the middle of nowhere it seems you come across this beautiful location. In mid-October, the trees surrounding the grounds were all changing colors. The ground had dried from the previous day's rain, so we were able to set up our ceremony outside, and then come in from the chilly weather for the reception. The hall itself is a rustic knotty pine and is spacious. We used their fireplace as a backdrop for the head table with a small dance floor in front. We had more than enough tables and chairs that are included with the rental price. The wine is great, and they are very helpful if you would like a type of liquor that is typically not on their menu. Sonya is very helpful, and I am forever indebted to her since most of our correspondence was through email. If you are looking to get married in the Southern Indiana/Southern Illinois area (or even if you just want to try some decent wine), I highly recommend Castle Finn Winery!
