I have a mixed review of Castle Hayne Farms. I chose them based on several factors: word of mouth, price, & closeness to my venue. Wendell, the manager, was lovely on the phone & easy to work with. We set an appointment to visit the farm & see ...
their selection. I was disappointed with their organization when we arrived. It would have been helpful to have some options & professional suggestions. I don't know about most people but I know very few flower varieties by name. I felt pressured to come up with names of what I needed instead of seeing the selection & going from there. We were then given a tour, which was great but Wendell forwarded little suggestions until prompted. We finally made our selections and were told to send an email with our final selections. We did just that and were sent a confirmation from his assistant with a pickup time. The day of our wedding I went to pick up our flowers & was asked "Did you call ahead? Who did you speak to?" This must have been a joke. I'm on a very tight schedule on my wedding day & now we have no flowers! We came to find out they had recently fired their assistant for the same issue with her messing up orders. Apparently, Wendell had never received our order. He was extremely apologetic, helped us pick out alternatives, & offered free flowers & a big discount, which was great but still stressful. Their customer service made me give them a lower rating. Their prices & flowers are undeniably fantastic! I would still recommend them but would suggest confirming your order at least once.

Seasonal bouquets and centerpieces at a very reasonable price! Helpful and friendly staff. Love that it's all locally grown!
