Castlebay has been entertaining crowds since 1987 and combines the traditions of New England, Ireland, and Scotland. Julia and Fred have spent their lives researching Celtic history and legends and let this learning inspire their performances. They've played music both at home and internationally, performing at festivals in Ireland, England, and Scotland.
No matter the setting, Castlebay is able to control the volume of their performance so you can still catch up with your loved ones. They like to perform without sheet music because it helps them to better read the atmosphere of the room. Some of the instruments you can expect to hear include violin, viola, Irish flute, and traditional Celtic harp.
