We could not have asked for more! Caswell provided our dream wedding in EVERY.WAY. Catherine and her team were so amazing, kind and supportive at every turn. We had so many guests tell us it was the greatest venue they had ever seen, one family friend even said he wanted all 3 of his daughters to get married on the farm. The ceremony cite is beyond stunning and flows so seamlessly into the tent, barn, fire pit and everywhere in between. You can see the care and love that is poured into every corner of Caswell and it is so infectious. The entire event felt like we were in our own little paradise and it all just felt so special. Working with both Caswell and Barn & Table catering were the best decisions we made in our entire wedding! Brian at Barn and Table has an amazing ability to provide exactly what you want while removing any stress or major decision making (a wedding dream!). The food was beyond what we could have hoped for and our guests were so impressed! Every single bite was incredible, down to the late night pizza that left our guests drooling. If you are considering working with Caswell and Barn & Table, this is your sign to book them! They made our wedding easy, perfect and memorable. We are still glowing and have already talked about booking again for a vow renewal just so we can relive the amazing night!

Caswell farm is absolutely beautiful! We fell in love with this venue when we drove up to the property. Catherine and her team are awesome and know their stuff! They are flexible and great at communicating. Theres a reason why this venue has limited availability! Trust me and book your wedding here!

I got married at Caswell Farm in early June and could not have asked for a better equipped venue and attentive owner! The layout and ease of the venue allowed both us and our guests to relax and enjoy the day. We were able to utilize the barn for lounge seating, bar service, and dancing while the grassy yard was perfect for games. Catherine was so helpful with our setup -answering questions, providing some advice, and was readily available for setup/take down/day-of. I cannot recommend Caswell Farm enough, if you're in search of a venue, this one should be at the top of your list!

Caswell Farm is beautiful, and Catherine and her team are amazing! We fell in love with the venue the first time we saw it -- the space is laid out so well, creating so many opportunities to personalize it for your event. We were able to DIY the things we wanted to but also rely on Catherine and her team to help with whatever we didn't want to take on (day-of-planning, set-up, etc.). The farmhouse is also a beautiful option for staying overnight. I would highly recommend Caswell Farm to anyone looking for a gorgeous and unique outdoor venue. We would choose it again in a heartbeat.

Caswell Farm is so beautiful, and Catherine and her team are responsive and incredibly detail-oriented. We didn't have to worry about any of the little touches, they will guide you through the whole process and make the venue and event as seamless as possible. We had lots of compliments from our guests on the venue and food (through Barn & Table Catering, based at the Farm). Highly recommend!

Our wedding was scheduled for 08/22/20 at Caswell Farm and then COVID hit and we had to reschedule - Catherine and the team at Barn & Table and The Bar Association were so amazing! Planning a wedding is stressful enough but having to reschedule made it even more stressful, the Caswell Farm team worked with us on rescheduling and we were able to land the same date for 2021! I couldn't have asked for a smoother process! Catherine was amazing with getting back to us with any questions we had regarding our special day. Caswell Farm is a magically beautiful place! It was gorgeous when we toured it in 2019 but when we came back to do a run-through before the wedding - it was even more beautiful! They had done so much work making it even better during the pandemic! The grounds were so well kept and the flowers and plants growing naturally on the farm made it unnecessary to even bring in additional decor! The barn tables and chairs that were provided for our dinner were beautiful and it was amazing to not have to rent those! Unfortunately it rained the day of our wedding but the Caswell Farm Team helped to make sure we didn't get soaked and brought in pop up tents to walk to and from the barn to the big tent so our guests didn't get soaked - it was a crucial and not something they HAD to do but they wanted to ensure things went smoothly for us. Which I think makes Caswell Farm stand out even more - you truly feel like family there! We went with Barn & Table Catering which is the catering company linked directly to Caswell Farm. The food was phenomenal - all guests raved about it. It was so fresh and delicious! Brian from Barn & Table was WONDERFUL! He could not have been more accommodating - we had multiple changes to the number of vegetarian meals we needed and he was wonderful in making sure everything was taken care of. Leah from The Bar Association was also very sweet! She answered all the questions we had, making sure everything was good to go! We wanted to add an extra hour on our Bar time (it was two days before the wedding) and she made it happen for us! We had a set amount we needed to hit with our cash bar and had to pay any amount leftover after the wedding - well we almost hit the goal but Leah waived the leftover amount we owed - VERY COOL! All in all - my husband and I could not have selected a better place to get married! Caswell Farm/Barn & Table/The Bar Association for the win! :)

Caswell Farm was the perfect spot for our wedding. Catherine was great from the moment we met her. She even made us cookies at her house when we were initially discussing and touring the venue. She was very genuine and helpful throughout the process, which was invaluable during the stressful period of planning a wedding. She was always quick to reply to our questions, and consistently reminding us that no question was too small. She was flexible for us in certain moments and we really enjoyed working with her! The venue itself was beautiful. The gardens all around the premises were well-kept and blooming. Our photographer had many options for photos on site. The ceremony was out back in the farm’s rock garden, which easily seated our 140 guests. We had food trucks parked alongside a tent near the barn, where they were easily able to set up and get in and out. And lastly we had dancing in the old barn, which acted almost like a stadium when doing our first dances. We highly recommend Caswell Farm and Catherine!

We had our wedding at Caswell Farm in the beginning of August 2021 and we had an absolutely wonderful experience with the venue, the owner Catherine and her staff. We were a postponement couple and ended up coming from another venue where we weren't treated all that good to Caswell Farms and it completely uplifted our hope and excitement. Catherine is incredible to work with. She is very understanding, very fair and patient. I truly don't understand how she manages all that she does. The venue was stunning on our wedding day. The flowers at the ceremony site were all in bloom and the vines were wrapped around the barn. Because the venue itself was so beautiful, we truly didn't need much in terms of decor. I would HIGHLY recommend Caswell farm as Catherine, her staff, and the venue exceeded our expectations.

Amazing Venue, brought our fairy tale wedding dreams to life! Catherine was a pleasure to work with and aided in making the day perfect from the beginning! The property is spectacular, and everyone involved on the farm was wonderful! Caswell is the best and it will be a day we never forget!

I could not have asked for a better experience at Caswell Farm & Wedding Barn for our wedding. From a purely transactional view, Catherine was a very professional vendor to work with and the property had everything we expected in terms of the maintenance of the grounds and barn. Beyond that, Catherine was just a lovely person to work with and you can really tell how much she cares about the property. Her farm is the exact opposite of the canned, made-for-instagram wedding experience that some venues now tend to feel like (though your photos will look awesome). There was something for everyone to do at the reception, from tearing up the dance floor in the barn to playing lawn games by the fire and walking around in the beautiful gardens. Its a big space yet the layout and small touches simultaneously make the property feel very intimate. Thanks again Catherine!!

Omg! I am so happy I stumbled across Caswell Farm at the last minute. My husband and I looked all over for a farm for our outdoor ,Maine, Summer wedding. Most barns were like 30k and came with nothing. When I walked into the farmhouse they even had fresh chocolate chip cookies and coffee and I was instantly in love! When I found out I coule have my entire party on site, from ceremony to dancing.. I was all in. They even have a shed of supplies you can use like cornhole, and photo walls and signage. Catherine and her team made everything so stress free and even cut me a lil slack on my cleanup, as in..none of my crew came to help and she did not make me feel stressed or rushed. It was an amazing experience. 10/10 and I highly recommend for anyone getting married or looking to book an event. It was affordable, especially considering all the amenities and that it came with farm tables and chairs. Honestly, I want to throw another party just so I can rent from them again.

The people and the atmosphere here are anything you could ever want for your wedding day. The farm and barn are stunning. We had a chilly, rainy day, but it was still magical because Catherine her crew worked so hard to help us make it perfect. I was stressed the morning of, and Catherine had all the answers to all of my questions, and then some. Honestly, we can’t say enough. Our family was blown away by the hospitality and the beauty on our special day. If you want a real, genuine, hardworking woman to help you turn your day into everything you imagined and more- get married at Caswell Farm... and if you want the MOST delicious meal you’ll ever have, hire Brian and their in-house catering company. My husband and I got married at Caswell in September 2019, and we absolutely LOVED having our wedding here. I truly cannot sing Caswell's praises enough. We visited in the winter when the venue was still covered in snow and ice, but we knew it would be the perfect backdrop for our early fall wedding. From the first time we contacted Catherine, the owner of the venue, we knew she and her venue were both something special. Caswell isn't your typical "wedding factory" that is owned by someone looking to jam-pack each weekend with weddings just to make a ton of money. Catherine truly cared about us and our vision, and worked to make sure we felt supported during the entire wedding planning process. Additionally, her staff at Barn & Table catering and at the Bar Association were a joy to work with. Each staff member was excited to hear our plans and work with us to create the best day possible for our wedding. On our wedding day, our guests were blown away by how special, unique and intimate the wedding felt, even though we had about 150 guests. The way the venue is set up allows guests to meander around the property and enjoy a wedding in their preferred way - such as sitting under trees in an Adirondack chair, playing lawn games, walking around the gardens, or dancing the night away in the barn. This creates a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere that guests absolutely love. I could go on and on about Caswell, but I'll end by saying this: choosing Caswell Farm & Wedding Barn as our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made.

We had a beautiful wedding at Caswell Farm! The space is very rustic and you don't even need decorations. It has great character and the owner is very easy to work with. Our guests camped in the campground while the bride and groom stayed in the farmhouse. It was absolutely perfect. We highly recommend this venue to others!

We were looking for a relaxed and casual venue close to Portland for our wedding and saw just one other place before decided on Caswell Farm. The barn is beautiful and rustic and has the ability to either be a party space, like we wanted, or a more formal setting. Between the bar service (which is owned by the same people) to the caterer to the event rentals they had plenty of recommendations for us on hand and everyone was flexible and accommodating. It was nice to have the flexibility to choose from vendors that we liked and piecing it all together to our liking, instead of being bound to specific vendors like at all inclusive venues. It seemed like a lot of the vendors already knew each other and had worked together in the past which made it easy to coordinate. We had a wonderful and relaxing wedding day and highly recommend them.

We can’t say enough good things about Caswell Farm! We quickly fell in love with the property and felt immediately at ease working with Catherine. The venue is truly beautiful - rustic yet magical, charming, and fun. Catherine was also our day-of coordinator and from start to finish from booking the venue to the wedding itself, she made the entire process feel warm, thoughtful, and personal. We left our wedding weekend floating and feeling like Caswell Farm was a new home for us and a place we would always treasure. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We could not have asked for a better venue for our August wedding than Caswell Farm. The laidback outdoor atmosphere, the barn, and the vast space we had allowed for everything we wanted. Enough room for our guests to mingle, watching the children be able to run and play freely, and allowing enough space for relaxation without feeling crowded. We had an infinite amount of options for our incredible photos, with gardens and other lush scenery as backdrops. We could not have been any happier working with Catherine. She helped with answering all our questions, giving us a sense of calm that we would not have received working with anyone else. Her property is a hidden gem in the state of Maine for outdoor weddings, and to pass up on her property would be a disservice to other couples’ future nuptials. It is a genuinely unique place to enjoy the union of two people, and we can only think of positives when it comes to Catherine Caswell and her team at Caswell Farm. Bottom line: WE LOVED IT!! YOU WILL TOO!!!

Caswell was the perfect fit for my sisters casual New England Farm wedding. If your looking for professionalism in a rustic barn setting than this is for you. The landscape is expansive with large open fields and a beautiful farm in the back, the barn itself has been beautifully updated with just the right amount of decor, while still transitional enough to make it your own! The service was professional and welcoming at every step of the process. Caswell felt like home, we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Our experience with Caswell Farm was wonderful. We would not have changed a single thing. The farm is nestled away on a quaint Maine back road, but still close to Portland. Our guests were able to enjoy southern Maine and lodge close by. From the start Catherine understood our vision and helped put it into place. She was happy to offer recommendations but gave us the freedom to make the space our own with personal touches. The farmhouse is cozy and homelike inside and the wedding barn is charming and beautiful. Our wedding ceremony was set up outside in the adjoining field and made a seamless transition to the reception. The venue made for beautiful pictures too! Our day was truly magical, and we are so glad that we chose Caswell Farm for our special day. We recommend it to everyone for any event, but especially a wedding. Thank you, Caswell Farm!

We knew Caswell Farm was the place for our wedding from the moment we stepped onto the beautiful property - even though it was January and there was a foot of snow on the ground - and met Catherine! Catherine made us feel completely welcome and she is genuinely honored that couples consider her beloved farm for their special day. Catherine is casual enough to not make you feel overwhelmed, but direct when need be to make sure everything is handled appropriately. Her experience in the industry helped us connect with many of the vendors we needed - and they, too, were fantastic! Come our wedding weekend at the end of June, the property was in pristine condition - having undergone some significant renovations throughout the spring. The Joy Package (access Friday through Sunday) gave us ample time to set up and decorate for both our rehearsal dinner, which was held inside the barn, and our wedding day. Caswell had many of materials we needed (i.e. chairs, tables, signs, games, etc.) and we only had to rent a few additional things for our meals. Overall, the best thing about Caswell Farm is the sense “home” you feel when on the property. The twinkle lights, the vegetable and flower fields, the catalpa tree, and the barn all emit a sense of intimacy and welcome that made it feel like we were in the comfort of our own backyard (though, Catherine’s is much better than ours in reality).

Caswell Farm is truly a magical place and made our wedding a real life fairy tale . The first time I visited the farm it was not set up for a wedding, but it still took my breath away, Everything about the venue is beautiful. It is rustic, charming, and the perfect site for an unforgettable wedding day, There is a side yard for the ceremony, the barn itself, we used the farm house to get ready, them the whole yard for the tent, huge bonfire pit, and lawn games. The area is surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. Catherine Caswell was wonderful throughout this entire process. She is laid back, but helpful and cares immensely about making your day special. She helped with any questions I had, and I had a lot (for an entire year!) Catherine is open to peoples' ideas, helping to make the day completely personalized. There are different packages to choose, so you can even spend the night at the farmhouse, or have your guests camp right on the grounds. The barn recently had a refresh and was even better than the first time I saw it. It still had its cozy, rustic feel but it got an upgrade. There are two rooms and a cute bridge upstairs in the barn to connect them. The upstairs in the barn for awesome wedding photos! One of my favorites we got was a "parlor shot" on one of the upstairs couches. Downstairs was the bar, our sign in, our memorial and where we put our photobooth. We used a lot of the stuff that Catherine had as well. We used signage, her chairs for the ceremony, and her 7 whiskey barrels as decorations and high top tables. People have not stopped raving about how amazing the venue was. The natural beauty of the land along with all of the work that Catherine does to maintain and beautify the property, made the day the best it could be. I would recommend it to any couple wanting to get married in Maine!

Our wedding was better than we ever could have planned for thanks to Caswell Farm! When Katy and I visited the farm for the first time, we knew within minutes of being there and meeting Catherine that it was the venue for us. It's a gorgeous setting with a beautiful farm house and barn and big open fields. Catherine was the perfect host. She helped us with the details along the way and made suggestions based on what had been successful on the farm in the past. Catherine is so warm and welcoming and laid back, and her approach to everything put us at ease. She and her crew were indispensable throughout the process. It's been a few weeks since our big day and we are still getting calls from friends and family telling us it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. The magic of Caswell Farm deserves the credit.

Our experience at Caswell Farm was perfect and exactly what we were looking for! We had a mobile wood fired pizza oven (Fire & Co.), a bluegrass band (Jerks of Grass), awesome beer and wine selections through her other business The Bar Association, and the perfect New England backdrop for our big day. Catherine was super easy to work with and never added to my stress. The barn is awesome and the house was perfect for us to get ready in. I also love how we had plenty of time the next day to clean up. And we had a lobster bake there Friday night for our rehearsal. If I had to plan my wedding all over again, I'd pick Caswell Farm every time.

Caswell Farm was the perfect location for our wedding. It is picturesque, rustic, cozy and welcoming. It is close enough to Portland for guests to find adequate lodging and sight see around southern Maine, yet tucked away in the quiet woods of Gray for an intimate event. The space has so much versatility and innate character. Catherine has loads of knick-knacks and wedding accessories so you can make the space your own. There are plenty of nooks for guests to explore and the barn is the perfect venue for any band or dance party. Our guests could not get over the authenticity and beauty of the venue! Plus, the working farm on the property makes it all the more charming :) Catherine and Leah are so accommodating and professional - they helped in any way we asked, yet allowed us to have virtual free-reign over the property for our wedding weekend. They were accessible by phone and email, and made us feel like our wedding was special - not just another weekend affair. Caswell Farm was affordable, authentic, beautiful, and accessible for our 150-person wedding. We recommend it to anyone!!

This was the perfect place to have our simple, but beautiful and fun wedding. Catherine was a blast to work with and so accommodating. It wa a good balance for us of having some structure to the place with beautiful ambience already so we weren't starting from scratch, but still being able to add more to make the venue and party very much our own. We got married in the barn due to bad weather and it was so perfect and intimate with friends on the balcony looking down, and everyone else on the ground floor. I'll never forget it. Would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a charming rustic outdoor spot to get married and celebrate in Maine.
