Cat Carty Buswell

This is a slightly belated review but Cat is an incredibly kind, lighthearted, talented, and artistic photographer! I booked her less than a month before my covid elopement after our original photographer had a conflict with our revised date. I cannot say enough good things about her! She took a very modest, budget-friendly celebration and made it look so extravagant. Our love and joy was on full display and I'm so grateful we splurged for photography for our little ceremony. I'll treasure the photos for the rest of my life.

We could not have been happier to find Cat in our COVID wedding re-planning process! Besides the fact that she took incredibly beautiful photos for us, the whole process of working together was seamless, starting with our initial phone call and working with me to determine how much coverage we needed, then planning out the specific group portraits we wanted to capture and the timeline of the afternoon/evening. On the day of, Cat integrated herself into the hustle and bustle of our back yard tiny wedding like she wasn't even there, but was able to capture every moment so perfectly. She made us and our families so comfortable the whole day, and even stayed an extra hour at the end of the night because our speeches/dinner had run long. We received our photos fairly quickly after our wedding and are thrilled with how they turned out! I would hire Cat again in a heartbeat - she is THE BEST!

Cat was the MVP of our wedding day. Having known and followed her for work for over 5 years now, she was an obvious choice to shoot our wedding. While I new her photos would be beautiful, I never expected to be so awestruck. Her photos captured all of the moments of the day, both big and small, in such an effortless and organic way. I'm not exaggerating when I say I've looked at my teaser album every day, multiple times a day, since the wedding. In addition to the photos themselves, Cat couldn't have been more calm, cool and collected throughout the day. She wrangled large groups with ease, found stunning and unique outdoor/indoor settings to stage photos, and always had a smile on her face. I can't wait to work with her again on future events!
