our wedding (and dressed in our color scheme!!!) and we can’t thank her enough or be happier with the results. She returned our entire wedding album around within less than a week - I usually hear people don’t get their pictures back for months. She also remembered key small details we might have forgotten, like remembering to wear our wedding bands for our first look so that in all of our bridal party pictures before cocktail hour we had on our rings. She is great at her job and we couldn’t recommend her enough.

I also had my wedding in January, and she did not complain once about being outside in 12-degree weather to get the perfect shot. Our engagement pictures were so gorgeous I had friends and family leaving compliments that the photos took on a “life of their own”, so I knew the wedding photos were going to SLAY. Catarina showed up exactly on time while we were getting ready and she was on top of every detail for our big day. We got our highlight pictures back a few days ago and I’m in awe of how amazing they look so far. Kelly who came with Catarina as her second shooter for our event was also amazing! The week prior to our wedding the weather wasn’t looking great so she checked in again and assured me we would make it work and that she had clear umbrellas ready to go if we should need them (thankfully we did not). We got sneak peak photos the very next day and I was thrilled to be able to see some so fast! She also took a lot of photos of our guests so now we have reminders of everyone who celebrated with us which is so special to me. I would highly recommend Catarina!! ☺️

Catarina is also incredibly accommodating. Our photography package included an engagement session, and unfortunately, we were on a time-crunch to get it done because my husband and I were moving to Florida a couple of weeks after we booked her. It felt like every time we booked a date for the session, the weather had other plans and it down-poured. Because of Catarina and her willingness to take it day by day with the weather, we got it done 4 days before the move and I cannot thank her enough for that. Fast forward to our wedding and it was an absolute dream working with her. She had so many fun shot ideas, made sure my husband and I felt comfortable in front of the camera, and made sure we stayed on schedule to get all of the photos we wanted. Plus, we had ~100 sneak-peak photos before the weekend was over (I still have no idea where she finds the time)! I cannot recommend her enough and I’m so excited to continue to work with her for our special moments.

Catarina is not only incredibly talented, but also fun and calming to be around, which is so important when your photographer is with you all day. The second shooters she brought along were equally professional and a joy to work with. I’m so grateful Catarina was there to capture one of the best days of my life. The other meetings I had were very business driven and I did not appreciate that, I did not want to feel like just another transaction. Catarina was/is so organized and she would check in on me and helped me so much. We had our engagement photo shoot that was included in our package and it was such a great way to feel comfortable with her and with various poses. My husband does NOT like taking pictures lol and even he was like that wasn’t so bad, she made it enjoyable for him and made him feel comfortable which is not easy to do when we are taking so many pictures. She worked so well with me in creating a timeline and allowing me to make changes to what family portraits I wanted. She has such a talent and eye for various shots. I would’ve been so lost without her! She had a second shooter with her and they both blew me away with their talent and ability to keep everyone organized and even dealt with my husband getting annoyed at how many pictures we were taking haha. They got every shot I could have possibly thought of and wanted! All of our families raved at how great they were! The combination of Catarina’s talent and skill combined with her sweet and welcoming personality make her truly just a dream to work with!!! I cannot say enough good things about her! The next morning she sent me OVER 100 SNEAK PEEKS!!! All edited and just perfect!! She created a digital library for me that included thousands of the most beautiful and stunning pictures! Everyone that I show the pictures to is blown away by how amazing and beautiful they are! I have used the pictures for so many Christmas gifts and am still amazed at how beautiful they are! Catarina is just so talented and such a great person, I am so so happy with her and my pictures. I couldn’t have pictured or imagined a better experience.I have such variety with my pictures, so many different angles and different backgrounds. She also does a mix of black and white photos as well which adds to the variety. I recommend her 1000%!!

My husband and I are both deaf and rely heavily on lipreading, which can make certain situations difficult especially during the pandemic. Catarina made it easy and effortless for us to understand her, which made the whole process much less stressful. She always remembered to move her face away from behind the camera so we could understand what was being said. With my husband being an introvert and shy in front of a camera, he was expecting to “pose, grin, and bear it.” The actual experience was the opposite and intimate. Catarina navigated our photo sessions and made us look candid and effortless in the pictures. She suggested poses and actions in a way that made me feel natural and beautiful. Our senior dog warmed up to her pretty quickly too, which says a lot! Catarina was always attentive and communicative. With her helpful guidance, we received her wedding day timeline which we shared with other vendors. They all expressed how helpful her timeline was. Catarina would outline the exact steps that would happen next, so we were never left wondering what was going on. It made us feel reassured knowing we were guided by a true professional. Every communication reminded me that Catarina cared, listened, and was flexible. She was always responsive to my endless questions and concerns. She designed a beautiful ornament to memorialize our first Christmas together as a married couple. When our dog passed away, she sent us a thoughtful and touching gift that memorialized our furry companion. It’s those little things that shows she truly cares. She was also the first person to text me on the morning of our wedding day wishing me well and how much she looked forward to seeing us. Catarina and I have grown close over the course of the year from the beginning of our engagement up to our wedding day and beyond. We look forward to continuing our relationship together as we reach more milestones. I don’t know where else you would be able to find a rare gem like Catarina.
