My husband and I met Dave at an open house at our venue early on in our engagement. We were really impressed by the photographs he showed us, especially his sunset pictures. We booked him as our wedding photographer shortly after. Dave did our engagement photos last summer, and they came out amazing! He was a real trooper, as my husband and I had him climbing up and around rocks at the beach. We used pictures from this session for our save the dates, and got many compliments on them. He sent the pictures to us on a USB drive in a very reasonable time frame. He sent two versions of every picture- one high res, and one for posting on social media. Dave and his daughter Kim photographed our wedding on July 20th. They both came to my family's house to take getting ready shots of the girls, then Dave left to get photos of the guys and Kim stayed to take more photos at the house. They both stayed well into the reception, and happily took any photos we requested. They were very professional and easy to work with! While we haven't received the photos from our wedding yet, Dave showed me a preview on his camera and I already know they are going to be beautiful! I can't wait to put together our albums. I would definitely recommend Catch the Light Photography to future brides!! My husband and I are so glad we have these beautiful pictures to remember these special moments!

His rates were the most affordable I found and you get rights to your photos, which is what I was looking for. He was personable and took great photos. I highly recommend him!

Dave & Steve were my 2 photographers for day of. They were so great the whole day!! They were recommended by my venue. The price was unbeatable, and they are willing to switch out certain items and customize your package. I know my pictures will be beautiful and will last a lifetime! The Gustsfsons 06.18.16

David & Kim were fantastic and our pictures look amazing! David was very professional and always responded to my emails right away. When I would ask if certain things were okay he constantly reassured me that I am paying him to work for me so of course it's okay. He went the extra mile and drove to the hotel I was getting ready at to take pictures of us girls getting ready. He stayed well above the allotted time and got tons of great shots! I ordered the dvd package and got tons of great photos! Even guests were commenting on what a great job they did! Highly recommend hiring David and Kim for your big day!!

David is a phenomenal photographer and he was the best for our wedding! Unlike many other photographers I researched while planning, David did not have a strict time period he would be around for. (I saw many 4hrs & you would have to pay for extra time). I knew I would want pictures of me & the girls getting ready, formal pictures after the ceremony, and then a lot of candids from the reception & people partying. The whole night would be over 6 hours. That time was no issue for David. In fact, he was early! And he was around all night long. He was friendly and had great suggestions during formals. He was also willing to do any specific requests that I had that were not traditional. On top of all of that, he is EXTREMELY reasonably priced. & his photographs are breathtaking. I am so happy David assisted in capturing our big day!

I have not received my photos yet but I can say David is is such a nice man! He was willing to take any shot that he was asked to!

Dave is a very nice guy. He came with his dayghter and they both had very good ideas about which pictures would look good and where. He was at my home from the time that i got ready until the wedding was over. I havent seen all the pictures but the ones he did show me looked great.

David Sproul is an incredible photographer. He makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed, which is important for great pictures. We did an engagement session which was great practice for the wedding and I used some of the pics for the wedding, like the cake topper and programs. He is also very reasonably priced, which helped with my budget.
