my wedding one day. As soon as I became engaged, she was the first vendor I called. The first thing you’ll notice about Julie is her professionalism with every little thing she does. She’s very communicative. Always follows everything up in an e-mail and provides more information than I probably even need. On the day of our wedding, several of our guests commented on how PRO she was at organizing everybody. She had a list and knew all the family members names, and organized the photography in a way that made it go smoothly. Her wedding day timeline that she created weeks beforehand made me feel very at ease that everything would be handled on my wedding day, and it was! A couple weeks after our wedding, we received our photos back and I was blown away. I knew I would love them but I didn’t even expect to have SO MANY that I loved. Our gallery consisted of over 350 photos for our elopement and I couldn’t even narrow down my favorites to under 100. I would recommend her services over and over again to anybody.

I also must mention we actually had to fire our first photographer who was extremely unprofessional and unresponsive. I was frantic trying to find a new photographer and Julie completely put me at ease. She is incredibly responsive and assured me she would not treat us as the previous photographer had. The universe was looking out for us because I can’t imagine anyone else but Julie capturing our special day. A really special thing I appreciated about Julie was the detailed questionnaire we completed closer to the wedding. It asked many questions including things I hadn’t thought about yet. She also asked about family dynamics and used the information to capture truly special moments. For example, my mother passed away and I wanted shots of myself holding a photo of her. Julie took it to the next level when she shot from angles that included that photo of my mother in the background while I was getting ready. I cherish these photos and the heart that went into capturing our special day. We already decided we will be using her for future photos as we grow our family. I had SO many questions for her, whether it was something about personal life, vendor/venue suggestions (I contemplated changing venues and eloping SEVERAL times during planning because I was just so over it all, IYKYK), to timeline questions prior to our final timeline meeting, she was always there to answer them. She kept us on track with our timeline the entire wedding day, and in fact, we were ahead of schedule the majority of the day! I also loved how Julie got to know us on a personal level, which made us feel way more comfortable during both our engagement session and wedding, rather than someone just showing up to take photos of “just another couple that booked with them”. Our second photographer, Brooke, was so great too! I asked that she come an hour early to help our day flow a bit better and she was more than willing to. She met up with my husband and his guys, before our first look, to do their photos and stuck with us through dinner. Overall, Julie and her team are the best photographers to work with and you need to book with her ASAP, before she doesn’t have your date available any longer. I cannot wait to receive our photos back and see how truly beautiful they turned out!!

be easy to get overwhelmed by all the different options there are. I stumbled upon Julie from The Knot's website, and I am SO glad I did. I loved how airy and natural her photos looked online (and the fact that she had full galleries for public viewing). One of my favorite things about her website was how detailed it was, seriously everything I could think of to ask she had already thought of and included. She also has guides to help you with your planning and was available for any questions or thoughts you had throughout the wedding planning process. Her communication via email, social media, and in-person are unmatched. Also, her timeline she sends out for the day of...*BEAUTIFUL*. My now husband and I are fairly awkward in front of the camera, but she always hyped us up and made us feel confident (this goes for the engagement session and wedding day). Julie was an absolute gem the day of the wedding, she gave so many good suggestions, kept us all laughing, kept us on a good timeline, and managed to make my intoxicated bridal party look put together in pictures. When picking vendors (especially one as important as a photographer) it can feel risky, as you are investing a lot of money. I hope this can ease your mind when I say she is worth every dollar and will give you the wedding gallery you dreamed of. We are forever grateful- you will be too!

nd and I are super awkward people, and all our anxiety melted away at our engagement session. Julie was the first person I've ever met who was able to get us both to look natural and HAPPY in photos! We actually had FUN! Not to mention we received our pictures within HOURS of the session (and they were fantastic). Come wedding day, there were so many hiccups and delays with some of other vendors and Julie was incredibly organized, flexible and made us feel so relaxed - we got all the shots we asked for (plus so many more). She helped get us where we needed to go throughout the day and was such a calming presence for us. My absolute favorite thing she did was multiple times just quietly ushered me and my husband out of the crowd for a few moments to just be alone and really absorb in our day. I cried every time and honestly those were my favorite moments. I am so so thankful I had her by my side. Julie is worth absolutely every penny and you'd be crazy not to book her!!!!
