Carolina is truly an amazing photographer, and we feel so lucky to have found her. She photographed our wedding and, from the very beginning, made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Neither of us knew exactly how to pose or what to do, but she guided us through everything so naturally. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful and captured our wedding day perfectly.
What makes Carolina even more special is that she didn’t just remain our wedding photographer she became our family photographer. Over the years, she has been there to capture so many of the most important moments in our lives, from our children’s baptisms all the way to their high school graduations. Looking back and realizing that one photographer has documented our family growing through all of these different stages is incredibly special to us. Her work has given us memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

At Catchlight Design Photography, I believe an intimate wedding deserves just as much intention, beauty, and attention as the grandest celebration.
I specialize in intimate weddings, micro weddings, and elopements, offering a boutique photography experience designed for couples who want their wedding day to feel personal—not like another date on a photographer’s calendar.
My approach begins long before the wedding day. I take the time to get to know each couple, understand their story, learn what matters most to them, and discover how they want their photographs to feel. Every wedding collection includes a complimentary engagement session, giving us the opportunity to connect, become comfortable together, and learn what feels natural in front of the camera before the wedding arrives.
My photography style blends romantic, timeless portraiture with genuine emotion and thoughtful storytelling. I’ll gently guide you when direction is needed, while also knowing when to step back and allow a moment to unfold naturally. I pay attention to the details—the way you look at each other, the movement of a veil, beautiful light, quiet touches, laughter, family connections, and those fleeting moments that can easily go unnoticed.
Because I intentionally focus on smaller celebrations, I’m able to provide a level of personal attention that is difficult to offer in a high-volume photography experience. From helping plan the best timing and locations for photographs to creating beautiful portraits that still feel like you, every detail is approached with care.
Based in Chandler, Arizona, I serve couples throughout the Phoenix area and beyond, with services available in English and Spanish. Destination elopements and intimate celebrations are always welcome.

My love for photography started when I was about 10 years old, when my dad first showed me how to use a camera. I didn’t know it at the time, but he was introducing me to something that would become a lifelong passion.
What has always fascinated me about photography is its ability to preserve a moment that can never be recreated exactly the same way again. A look between two people, a parent’s expression, a laugh that happens unexpectedly, the way a veil catches the light—those tiny moments may only last a second, but a photograph allows us to return to them for years to come.
I’ve now been photographing professionally for more than a decade, capturing weddings, engagements, families, milestones, and celebrations throughout Arizona and beyond. Over the years, I’ve learned that creating beautiful photographs is only part of what makes this work meaningful to me. Getting to know the people in front of my camera is just as important.
I’m naturally a people person, and I want my clients to feel comfortable, cared for, and completely themselves. I’ll give you direction when you need it, probably make you laugh at least once, straighten a veil or two, notice the little details, and then step back when a moment is perfect exactly as it is.
For my wedding couples, that relationship begins before the wedding day. I include a complimentary engagement session because I want us to get to know each other, learn what feels natural for you, and make sure that when your wedding arrives, I’m no longer a stranger showing up with a camera.
Photography began as something my dad shared with me when I was a little girl. Today, I get to use that gift to preserve some of the most meaningful chapters in other people’s lives—and I still think that’s pretty amazing.
