From the engagement session to our crazy wedding day, she and her crew were there EVERY step of the way. She helped with time line and suggested photo ideas. She captured everything we could have asked for. Typically, I'm the family photographer/videographer so choosing someone was very important to me. *side note* three days after our wedding my dad passed away. I contacted Cate asking for a few pictures for his funeral video and within minutes she sent me a handful! From the bottom of our hearts we were so grateful to meet Cate and share the wedding experience. *Since the wedding, I have also used her for personal portraits too!

e were lucky to hire Cate for two nights. She came to our rehearsal dinner and took big family photos, which came out amazing. Then, the next day she shot our wedding. Cate and her staff were wonderful. They were professional and so kind. Getting the engagement photos taken was also a huge plus. It was great to meet Cate in a more relaxed setting beforehand. She even traveled to Boston, where we live. I highly recommend Cate to anyone who looking for a wedding photographer. She was easily our favorite vendor. Amazing photos and really awesome person!

Cate was open to helping with all "problems" during wedding planning, we definitely leaned on her for advice related to photography and not because she has seen it all. So when my partner and I started talking about wedding photography, we knew we had to do some research to find a photographer who would make us feel comfortable. Thanks to the wonders of Google, we found Cate and we are SO glad we did! Cate made us feel so comfortable during our entire experience with her - from the introductory phone call to the engagement shoot to the wedding photos. Cate made us feel fully seen, heard, and respected throughout all of our interactions with her and even made the photo shoot process FUN (something I never thought I'd say about the experience of having a photographer take lots of photos of me). On top of that, the final photographs that she captured (especially the candids!) were incredible. Thank you, Cate!

It's easy to feel out of place as an LGBTQ couple navigating the wedding industry, but she made everything feel natural and effortless. So so glad we went with her. were MAGIC! We couldn't be more in love with them. Since she focuses so much on joyful candids, it's priceless to see our friends and families reactions in the moments that we couldn't see in person. All of my bridesmaids from Florida want to fly her down to do their future weddings. My dad (who hates being photographed, and almost never smiles for them) said he wants her to do his funeral - that's a compliment, trust me, even though it's a very weird one. we connected with Cate and quickly realized that she was absolutely the person we wanted to capture our most special and intimate day. We spoke to Cate multiple times leading up to our wedding. It was instant chemistry and we both felt that she just "got us". The day of our wedding was both stressful and exciting and Cate and her amazing assistant really put Jessy and I at ease with their calm demeanor. She was able to expertly navigate our formal photos as well as make sure we were able to enjoy our day with our guests, making everything seamless. Next came the photos, we were absolutely blown away at the amount of amazing pictures Cate was able to capture throughout the day. They are memories we will cherish forever and we are forever grateful to have found such an amazing photographer!

We originally had contracted with another vendor to do both video and photography, but thankfully that vendor double-booked us and bailed. When Cate first reached out I could tell that she really cared about us. She asked about us as a couple, what this day meant to us, what our story was, and what our vision for the day was. Most vendors we spoke with got right to business talking about pricing and packages, and it was all very transactional. Not once did we ever feel like Cate cared about anything more than helping us make the right choice to capture the day. Working with Cate was a delight from start to finish. She was organized, on-time, and always calm + collected during some of the more hectic moments. Not only did she help us get all the family pictures we wanted, she kept us so efficient that we even had time for more photos we didn’t think we would have time for. Cate was gracious with her time and even more gracious in her follow through. We received our photos quickly, and they were nothing short of perfection in every single way.
