Before the wedding, Pete and the Catering by Christine team gave us a spectacular tasting to help us plan our menu at a time that fit in our crazy schedule. We were blown away by the amount and quality of appetizers we were able to provide to our guests, and the entire team was willing to work with us to create custom dishes, even if they hadn’t done them before. Our venue (Branford House in CT) required us to bring in rentals, which Pete seamlessly facilitated on our behalf. His experience working at that venue numerous times before truly showed on the day itself. Pete personally helped set up the ceremony and reception space, and he ensured that our reception was exactly what we wanted. And this was all before the amazing food came out. Our assigned personal attendant, Emma, was a positive fixture of the day. She made sure that we, our wedding party, and our family had everything we could want. Our entire wedding party has commented on how enthusiastic and accommodating Emma was to us throughout the event. The Catering by Christine team’s experience and professionalism was clear, as they made the day run as efficiently and smoothly as could be. We never expected that our cater could fulfill so many crucial roles for us that day, and we never had to worry about any details on the day itself. Many of our guests, weeks after the wedding, have continued to reach out to us and said that their meals was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We sincerely hope to go to an event catered by them again! Our contact throughout the process was Pete, one of the owners. He was very easy to deal with. He handled all our special requests, made recommendations and responded promptly to all my emails, even a panicked one while he was on vacation. The staff took care of setting up the entire tent. I had my own china, tablecloths and napkins which they treated with special care. They did everything I requested, i.e. lit the lanterns and turned on the fairy lights at the appropriate times etc. They inobtrusively cleared and served dessert. They worked REALLY hard all night long. Our service captain that night was Emma who I can't say enough about. She was on top of everything. We also had an executive chef on hand. There was someone assigned to cater to the needs of the bride and groom. I also used this caterer for my husbands birthday party in January, a trial run of sorts, and again the presentation, quality of the food and service were top notch.

roposal that was perfect for our outdoor, rustic farm wedding. We were late in the planning process so Pete got us in right away for a tasting. The food was delicious and the presentation was stunning. We tried so many tasty things that day that it was difficult to pick our final choices. Pete even did a second tasting with our parents a few weeks later. I was a bit nervous about the second tasting because my in-laws are phenomenal cooks. Pete & Christine did not disappoint!! We tried several appetizers, entrees, and dessert and our parents loved everything. We immediately booked them for the wedding. Pete was an absolute pleasure to work with over the next few months. In addition to helping us finalize our meal choices, he also provided expertise and feedback about nearly everything else. He helped us with our rentals, flower decoration ideas, flow of the reception, timing, etc. As a type “A” person, I often micromanage, but none of that was needed with Pete. He was on top of everything and worked very well with our planner and family members who helped with the wedding. He made himself available for late night conference calls too and never skipped a beat. On the big day, Pete and his staff were spectacular. We received so many compliments from our guests and family about the food and outstanding service. Our bridal party even had a personal attendant who helped make sure that we had food and beverages during photos and throughout the night. The “Captain” worked so hard shuffling around the property as we took photos in different areas, but had a smile on her face the whole time. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to multi-task that much, but if it was, she never showed it. As the bride, that meant the world to me. During the rest of the night, Pete and his staff were on top of everything and left the property spotless the next morning. When we finally got our wedding photos, I got to see other things that Pete & Christine worked so hard to achieve and execute: the little decorations on the reception tables, the smiles on our guests faces during cocktail hour as they munched on the delicious hors d’oeuvres, the beautifully decorated cocktail bar, and the gorgeous country pie dessert stand – just to name a few! Oh, and we just heard from our friend that they are using Pete & Christine for their other child’s wedding next summer. We also plan on keeping them in mind for future events of any size. The list of hor devours was endless and took us days to even decide on our menu. Guests raved about the food being delicious and the portion sizes being large. Guests said "it was the best salmon they've had in their entire life." What also made us have a great experience was having two staff members (Emma and Tiffany) right by my husband and I's side literally the entire wedding to assist us in getting anything we may need, always making sure we had a drink in our hand, keeping us on schedule etc. They even helped us during pictures with poses, fixing my veil..the list could go on-these ladies were truly amazing! Food is one of the biggest components of having a special wedding to remember and Catering by Christine we can truly say will make sure everything turns out perfect-just the way everyone hopes their special day will be! We had a buffet style and everyone got their food quickly and loved being able to try a bit of everything instead of being locked into a meal choice, since all the options were so good! The cocktail hour we heard was unmatched and everyone loved the hour d’oeuvres. A great friend of ours fixed up a row boat for us and the staff made sure to keep it filled with beers for the entire day to cut down on lines at the bar. As the bride, my husband and I had our own personal waitress Tiffany who was beyond AMAZING. She made sure we always had a drink in our hands, appetizers to eat and got us and our bridal party anything we needed. At the end of the night she made sure to box up the remainder of our cake, wrapped our champagne flutes, cake topper, and loaded them personally into our truck that we rented for decorations (we made a ton!). They were all so professional and the service was seamless. As mentioned we made a lot of decorations for the wedding. Pete and the staff made sure to set them all up with the direction of a few family members of ours and it all came together more beautifully than I could have ever imagined. If you are getting married, especially at a do it yourself venue like Lighthouse Point where you have to bring in all of your vendors, don't even think twice about hiring them. They are a well-oiled machine and will make your day perfect! I can't recommend them highly enough!!

We also had open bar the entire night for a very reasonable price which included a bride and groom drink! One of my favorite features was the bride and groom butler service . They catered to my husband and I throughout the night which made our night run super smooth and we got to get some food in our stomachs amidst all the typical wedding chaos. The girls who serviced us were Emma and Tiffany, not only were they super sweet but they ran around like crazy to making sure we were all set. They did a fantastic job and we can't thank them enough. Pete, the owner, was so easy going and determined to make our wedding as delicious and perfect as possible. Also prior to us choosing Catering By Christine, Pete had invited us to complementary tasting which literally wowed us! The ingredients used were fresh and top notch, the presentation was beautiful, and the staff was wonderful. Seriously - guests were taking pictures of their meals. Isn't that exactly the kind of thing you're looking for when you book a wedding caterer? In addition to the food itself, the staff were complete professionals. We had Emma as our attendant, and I'm not exaggerating in the slightest when I say that I did not even see the bar, our stationary or passed appetizers, or our raw bar because every time I turned around she was offering me, my husband, and our wedding party a fresh drink or snack. She was so fantastic, I wished I could have taken her home with me! But I didn't, so now you can benefit from her attentive, sweet and calming nature for your wedding :) I can't stress enough how unstressed I was about my wedding primarily due to Pete and his team. I knew the food would be amazing and I knew that if anything were to come up, that they had the experience and the ability to work around it. So happy to have had them as part of our day!

Catering by Christine is very busy, so sometimes it took some time for them to respond to emails, but they always got back to us and everything was perfect the day of, so have faith! They set up a beautiful tasting where we tried tons of appetizers and meals and everything was amazing. We also appreciated the opportunities to sit down together to discuss all of our wedding day details during the planning process. I also have to specifically thank Tiffany of Catering by Christine – she was there on our wedding day to make sure everything ran completely smoothly, was always by our side bringing us food and drinks and making sure our every need was cared for and that we were fed and happy!

At times we struggled to get in touch, but that was months out from the event, and eventually we always were able to get through. At those times I trusted in his professionalism, and knew he would create a beautiful wedding for us, and he certainly did. As we got closer and closer to the wedding date, Pete was in touch several times in the two weeks before, and we called him to make some last minute changes-- ironing out details to help make our day flawless, and IT WAS! All of Pete's staff was highly professional, Pete stepped in to help cue our bridal party to walk during the ceremony, and our personal attendant Emma was THE BEST! The food and the service both helped to make our wedding day magical. Highly recommend Catering by Christine!

They are a busy company and I understand that but some of the excuses were unacceptable for me as I too work in the wedding industry. Lessons learned working with him. If you want things in an email you also need to call him because he was very good about answering calls. Set up as many meetings as you need to make yourself comfortable, stand your ground and always double check the contract. Luckily my father used to be in this business so I had him in my corner to reduce some stress, but patience will be needed. Again the food and service day of were out of this world.

They were even able to make a few last minute changes to accommodate our guests celebrating Ramadan. Pete worked with us to come up with a selection of drinks, meals, and hors d'oeuvres that fit our budget. In addition to passed and stationary hors d'oeuvres, we offered a plated meal with four options (Beef, Chicken, Fish, and Vegetarian) on the RSVP card. All of the meals were served to our 107 guests within 8-10 minutes of dinner starting. The guests all raved about the quality of the food days after the event (pro tip - get the lobster mac and cheese)! Dessert and coffee was served by the staff from a single station and the line moved incredibly quickly. At the end of the night clean up was completed in 15-20 minutes. I also want to commend Tiffany, the manager for the day, on her professionalism. She arrived about 30 minutes before scheduled to check out the venue and paid close attention to all of the details I told her about. When we arrived after the wedding everything was set up and looked beautiful!

Our guests were full of compliments about the food, the presentation, the staff, everything. We had a Chinese – Italian wedding and to meet the hunger needs of all our guests, we decided to go with stir fry and pasta serving stations. They were a huge hit! Those cuisines are very different from one another, but Catering by Christine made sure they had the flavor and authenticity to satisfy natives from both sides of the family. We were actually a bit nervous going into it because we know how critical our families can be, but we had absolutely no complaints and more compliments than we can remember. We had a variety of other foods as well, all of which were a huge hit, including the prime rib carving station, the hors d'oeuvres, soups that were to die for (lobster bisque and New England clam chowder), and a cheese spread that was devoured. The way they ran the serving stations was seamless! We were concerned that there would be long lines, confusion, and a gaggle of people waiting for their food, but as Pete (from Catering by Christine) promised, it was run with top notch efficiency! The bar was awesome! The bartenders were competent and knew how to make a variety of drinks, offered several beer options, as well as our signature cocktail. There were never lines, the bartenders moved quickly and were often ahead of the game, remembering people’s orders from their previous drink. As the bride and groom, we were assigned personal butlers who made sure we were never hungry, never without a drink, and always catered to throughout the night. Before the wedding day we had heard many times that you don’t get a chance to enjoy the food at the wedding and it’s mostly true, you’re so busy you don’t get a chance. But with this special personalized service, they made sure we had food whenever we wanted and our drinks were never empty! Catering by Christine is a family run place, operated by Pete and his wife Christine. We worked with Pete for the majority of our experience and we were very pleased with his professionalism, ability and willingness to work with us on everything from price to food choices and recipes to all the little details we wouldn’t have even thought of without his guidance. He was more than happy to add our little touches that made the wedding unique to us, helped with the setup of those little extras, and did his part to make sure everything went smoothly and we could just be there to enjoy our special day. And that’s exactly what we did – we thoroughly enjoyed it and are forever grateful to Pete and his staff for delicious food and stellar service! We undoubtedly made the right choice with Catering by Christine. In the roughly ten months working with Pete, together we made a very memorable night for us and all of our guests and a friendship with Pete that will last beyond our wedding day.

It cleared up in the morning and our tent was magnificent The bars were huge and a huge hit to all of our friends we had almost 300 people and many people commented they have never been to a big wedding without lines at the bar. We hadn't even thought to do two separate bars to accommodate our guests. We even had snow cone margaritas. They were delicious! At the end of the night our guests had flatbread pizzas. My Dad even got teary. The food, the decor, every single thing was perfect! The staff was amazing! They took care of us and our parents!
