Pete and his team made our wedding day so seamless and absolutely perfect!!! The team was so attentive to us and made sure we always had enough food and never went without a drink in our hand. Every one of our guests raved about the food and it really was so amazing! I could not recommend this company more!!!

Catering By Christine catered our wedding this past weekend at the Burr Homestead in Fairfield, CT. At our tasting, Pete explained the process from start to finish and noted all of our requests. Leading up to the wedding, Pete was always a phone call away to answer any question - no matter how small. On the day of, Pete and his staff arrived on time, were ahead of schedule with set up, and overall provided us with a fantastic evening. His staff were professional, accommodating, and friendly. Julianna, our day of attendant was wonderful not only to my husband and I but to our families as well. The food was amazing and received rave reviews from almost every guest. We continue to get compliments on the passed hors d'oeuvres all the way down to the vegetables! My husband and I are thrilled with our experience with Catering By Christine.

We just got married this past weekend and the food and service provided by Christine's was great! We got so many compliments on our dinner choices and the cocktail hour apps were great too. The staff made sure I was well taken care of and got to try everything as I was running around taking pictures and talking to guests. The presentation of the dessert table was beautiful and bar service was quick and efficient. Staff also helped setup our table arrangements to make sure it looked exactly how we wanted. Would definitely recommend!

Pete was SO fantastic!! He worked with all of our requests no matter how high maintenance we were, and the guests are still raving to us about the quality and taste of the food a month later. We had a ~150 guest wedding with an outside cocktail hour and closed in tent reception, in the middle of November, and it was absolutely perfect. The catering company handled all of the table and set up the centerpieces and favors for us, we had personal attendants following us around with hors d'ouevres and making our plates for us (buffet style) so we didn't have to worry about a single thing!! I swear, the entire night, every time my drink got down to 1/4 full, someone was there to pluck it out of my hand and give me a brand new one. It was incredible, and the exact type of pampering I fully expect from my now husband for the entirety of my life :) Highly recommend. I will say I was nervous as we got closer to the wedding date because it felt communication and response time wasn't as quick as a nervous bride-to-be obviously wants, but when push came to shove they pulled through and were very communicative and easy going about any and all of our questions. Catering as a business is expensive in general for a wedding of our size, so I can't even complain about the cost given everything that they handled on our behalf - worth every single penny. Use them !!!!!

Catering by Christine blew us away with their outstanding food and amazing service! Everything was presented so beautifully and tasted phenomenal! Pete was so helpful, kind and supportive throughout the wedding planning process. Although I sometimes had a hard time reaching him for my questions, I always got the information that I needed and our wedding day was incredible thanks to their service. In addition to amazing food, the bar service was top notch - meeting the needs of my party-centric friends with fast service and everything you could want.

From the very beginning, Pete, Emma, and the rest of their team were so responsive, fielding countless nervous emails and calls from me while always answering my questions and reassuring me that they had everything under control. Emma coordinated the day to perfection and made it run so smoothly, we always had someone attending to us, and I might just trust her with my life! The food was 10/10....the passed appetizers were what dreams are made of, and our guests are still talking about how much they loved all the food. Pete, with the help of his very capable event coordinator, Emma, did an amazing job of catering our Evening of Celebration at the end of July in Penfield Pavilion, Fairfield. In 2020, we arranged with Pete to cater our daughter's wedding at Penfield. Because of covid our daughter was married in our back yard with very few guests and a reception we catered ourselves. Pete allowed us to postpone the 2020 wedding party which became our Evening of Celebration on our daughter's second wedding anniversary. The planning was stress free. The food was excellent. The service was seamless, efficient and professional. We highly recommend Catering by Christine.

We had an awesome experience with Catering By Christine! When we reached out, we heard back from Pete promptly; he was passionate, enthusiastic, and clear! We attended a tasting with both of our parents and were blown away with by the variety of hors d'oeuvres we were able to sample. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented! The entrees were equally delicious! The staff was professional and knowledgeable: they were able to answer our questions and were open to our ideas! While we ultimately decided not to move ahead with Catering by Christine, we would absolutely recommend them!

My husband and I got married at The Branford House on 6/3/22. Pete is one of the owners and Emma was our coordinator day-of. Pete called me a few days beforehand to check in, which I thought was so nice of him to do. There was a bit of a mixup where we did not know we would need to rent a few items for them to use (cook tent, stove), and had to add those to our rental order a week before. On our wedding day, though, I can’t say enough great things about them. Emma truly was so sweet — she kept giving my husband and I fresh drinks, made sure our table got food first, put aside apps for us and our bridal party, and just kept checking in (but was never in our face about it!). Truly SO many people talked about how good the food was. We served our dinner family-style, which made it more fun as well. The food was fantastic — apps, dinner, everything. We didn’t feel like we were eating “wedding food” at all, which was one of the most important things for us. We can't say enough great things about the food and the service. The Branford House is a bit tricky with not having a true "kitchen," but Pete has done weddings there a million times and I was not worried at all. Everything was seamless!

My husband and I were married at The Pavillions at Penfield Beach last June.  Catering by Christine catered and coordinated our reception.  Let us tell you, they were great!  Pete and Emma set up the venue exactly as we had described.  Emma ensured we had everything we needed all night long (including the drinks of our choice).  And the food was AMAZING!  Highly recommend.

We were married at The Hops Company and used Catering By Christine for the catering. My husband and I were truly blown away with how perfect the day was. Throughout the entire process, Pete, Crissy and Emma made sure to make us feel settled. They really take pride in the food and service they provide. Everything was exactly as we had seen at the tasting and tasted the exact same. They made sure my husband and I really were taken care of, bringing the entire bridal party appetizers and drinks while we were taking pictures. I noticed them going up to my grandparents offering them drinks and to get them dinner from the buffet for them. These are just a few examples of how great the service was. Months later, people are still talking about how great of a wedding it was, but they talk especially high of the food and service provided by Catering By Christine. I’ll just start by saying one of the number one compliments we received about our wedding was that the food was amazing! Obviously this summer was packed with weddings and my family and friends have been to numerous and they said it was hands down the best food they’ve had at a wedding. The passed apps were my favorite! They have so many options to choose from that go beyond your typical bacon wrapped scallops. They also were very accommodating to my GF dietary needs. I would definitely recommend!!!!

If we could give Catering by Christine more than 5 stars we would! Pete, Crissy and their incredible team made our wedding day everything we visioned, hoped for, and so much more. I dont know where to begin. Catering by Christine deserves more than 5 stars. They are professional, attentive, and go above and beyond. I do not know how I was lucky enough to work with such WONDERFUL vendors throughout the wedding planning process, which during covid is not easy, but then to execute the way they did was incredible. Pete, Emma and their team were outstanding. I was at a loss for words. Speechless. I am still getting calls about the food, the presentation and the service. I would highly recommend Catering by Christine. As I am trying to plan another event just to work with them again.

We received so many compliments on the food at our wedding thanks to Catering by Christine! Everything was fantastic, and Chrissy made sure my husband and I got a chance to eat plenty on our wedding day. Chrissy was on top of all the details we didn’t want to have to worry about- from the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception, she made sure everything went smoothly.

My husband Brian and I were married recently at Penfield Beach. Catering By Christine went above and beyond for our guests and us, making our day more than a dream. From the initial point of contact they were professional, responsive and reassuring. Our tasting was the exact of what was served to all 140 of our guests. Guests are still raving about the food, bar and service. Emma our point of contact for the day really took our vision and made it happen. Her constant smile, calm composure and reassurance allowed Brian and I to fully enjoy our day and our guests. Her gentile reminders to eat and drink were so necessary as the nerves and excitement took over our minds. The appetizers were amazing and fun, something my guests were so impressed by. For dinner we chose to do a dual plate of filet and salmon and it was a total success. It was served within 15 minutes allowing more time for dancing. I highly recommend Catering By Christine for your big day; you won’t regret it!!!!

Catering by Christine was spectacular. We were initially drawn to them by their great reviews and affordable pricing. And it all proved true. They worked around our budget and delivered food/drink/experience that exceeded our own expectations. And if you're lucky enough to meet/work with Pete, know that you are in the best of hands. We had a vegan menu for our wedding at my husband’s parents’ house and Catering by Christine did a great job putting together a complicated menu with many options that were not part of their normal catering lineup. Our guests loved the food and we got many compliments during and in the weeks following our wedding about how tasty all the food was and how great it was to not have the normal wedding meal of dry chicken and beef. The four entrée choices were delicious. The sides and appetizers were amazing and I think they were the best part of the menu. Pete allowed us to do two menu tastings with no extra charge to make sure we had the menu right. For the day-of, Emma was amazing. I cannot say enough positive things about her. She was attentive, took charge of the ceremony timing, made sure my husband and I always had whatever food or drink we wanted, and was just overall really nice and fun to be around. The Catering by Christine team set-up all the tables, linen, bar, place setting, etc. so we basically did not need to worry about anything happening under the tent. Since it was a large backyard wedding, they basically filled in and took care of everything that needed to be done, even if it was not explicitly their job. The only difficult part of working with Catering by Christine is that Pete is slow to respond over email since he is very busy. I recommend calling and texting him to get a quicker response. But since there is a lot that goes into wedding catering, sometimes the only way to communicate what you want is over email (so that it is documented and you can refer back to it). So I learned to just email Pete and follow-up with a text or call to make sure he received my email.

Catering by Christine caters a myriad of events at our Reception Venues. One that stands out in particular was a guest's Sweet Sixteen June 17th. Pete was so easy to work with and Christine created a delicious menu! The onsite team is a dream to work with and I think they left the kitchen cleaner than it was in the first place!! Nothing but praise for this "soup to nuts" catering team!

I got married a few weeks ago in Fairfield CT! My Husband, James and I fell in love with Catering By Christine from the moment that we came in for a complimentary tasting. The taste and presentation of their food was unmatch! This really impressed our guests. Their ability to create our vision through food was something we were looking for in our special day! We didn't realize how much we would need and how important it is to have a day of coordinator to take care of our every need. We hosted an amazing event for our daughter at Penfield Pavilion and all I can say is WOW! Catering by Christine helped us design a perfect menu, and invited our family in for amazing tasting for us to narrow it down. All of our guests are still raving about how amazing the food and service were!!! The room is absolutely gorgeous! Catering by Christine did an amazing job at our wedding. The food was phenomenal, the service and wait staff were exceptional, and the planning leading up to the wedding was extremely helpful. They were very accommodating and did everything we asked, even when we had changes at the last minute. Everyone who attended our wedding still tells us how much they enjoyed the food (especially the pasta station). My wife and I could not be happier with their service and would recommend them to anyone in need of catering or event planning.

My husband and I were married on September 27 and used Catering By Christine. Our experience with them is something that truly made our fairytale a fairytale. Pete and Crissy were so accommodating allowing us to really personalize our menu and our bar options. They really helped facilitate in our planning and coordination for the day of. My husband and I are foodies and we were so impressed with everything! My guests with similar love for food were also raving about the food. The appetizers were so tasty and plentiful! We did a plated dinner and it was quick and professional. Although my husband and I never had to go to the bar because of our personal attendant, our guests were never waiting on a drink. Because of all the work Catering By Christine and team did, my husband and I were really able to enjoy our wedding day!!

We worked with Pete and Emma from Catering by Christine. The food was excellent - all of our guests were raving about it. We did stations so were able to try a variety of hors d'oeuvres and dishes. Pete was our initial point of contact and Emma provided our day of support. Emma was fabulous. If you go with Catering by Christine, I would recommend to ask who will be your day of support person and be in touch with them directly with any questions or concerns. Pete always made us feel comfortable and supported and was willing to work within our price range.

Loved them! I felt so taken care of during the planning process and the food is amazing! We had more than a couple guests who had special dietary needs and together we were able to come up with menu options to satisfy all of them. Plus the day of, my husband and I had a personal attendant to be there for us to make sure we had our food, drink, and she put aside so much dessert for us just in case we missed it. I would def use them again! They were great!

This past weekend Catering By Christine catered our wedding. In the beginning of the planning process we were overwhelmed with the to do list regarding our backyard wedding. Beyond having absolutely amazing food, they are also crucial to helping you plan and organize your day. We worked specifically with Pete, who helped orchestrate the entire day for us. Before the wedding, Pete and the Catering by Christine team gave us a spectacular tasting to help us plan our menu at a time that fit in our crazy schedule. We were blown away by the amount and quality of appetizers we were able to provide to our guests, and the entire team was willing to work with us to create custom dishes, even if they hadn’t done them before. Our venue (Branford House in CT) required us to bring in rentals, which Pete seamlessly facilitated on our behalf. His experience working at that venue numerous times before truly showed on the day itself. Pete personally helped set up the ceremony and reception space, and he ensured that our reception was exactly what we wanted. And this was all before the amazing food came out. Our assigned personal attendant, Emma, was a positive fixture of the day. She made sure that we, our wedding party, and our family had everything we could want. Our entire wedding party has commented on how enthusiastic and accommodating Emma was to us throughout the event. The Catering by Christine team’s experience and professionalism was clear, as they made the day run as efficiently and smoothly as could be. We never expected that our cater could fulfill so many crucial roles for us that day, and we never had to worry about any details on the day itself. Many of our guests, weeks after the wedding, have continued to reach out to us and said that their meals was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We sincerely hope to go to an event catered by them again! If you are looking for the BEST caterer you found it! I can’t say enough about Pete and Chrissy. From our first meeting I knew. They went over every detail had us try about 20 different things. Everything was so delicious it was hard to pick our menu. We went to see four other caterers are not one even came close. Don’t waste your time with anyone else. They are the best !

Food was amazing. But our attendant Emma was the best part! She literally saw me mouth the words “water” to someone and there she was with water. She asked me all night if I needed anything to eat, I didn’t need much but that was because of my nerves!! Haha. She packed some leftovers and the next day I was delighted that the food had held up to what we had at our tasting. The appetizers were so good, and my guests were really raving about the food!! I would definitely use these guys again.

My husband and I were married recently and thoroughly enjoyed having Catering By Christine do our catering. In our experience, we agree completely with prior reviews on The Knot and elsewhere that the food and day-of service is absolutely excellent (delicious appetizers, generous portions, professional wait staff, thoughtful couple attendants) but that the lead-up paperwork (contract, details regarding selections, etc.) is frustrating. It took us many attempts to try to get a contract formalized and eventually we had to write it ourselves and have THEM sign it because the #s didn't add up, our requests weren't listed, etc.. Taken together, the business-side is disorganized but the food is wonderful so makes worth the hassle.

Catering by Christine catered my daughters wedding September 2018. The food was incredible. The staff was great and were not intrusive. Great comments from all the guests with raves about the food. Fabulous horsdeuvres. Set up and clean up were great as well. I would recommend for events. A chef was a guest and he loved the food as well! Thank you Pete

Catering by Christine recently catered my daughter's wedding at Wickham Park. They did an excellent job. The food was great only to be surpassed by the service. There are several logistics unique to Wickham Park and their experience in this venue was invaluable. They helped make the bride and groom's vision a reality. One request was cookie shooters and an ice cream bar which was a lot of fun. Our contact throughout the process was Pete, one of the owners. He was very easy to deal with. He handled all our special requests, made recommendations and responded promptly to all my emails, even a panicked one while he was on vacation. The staff took care of setting up the entire tent. I had my own china, tablecloths and napkins which they treated with special care. They did everything I requested, i.e. lit the lanterns and turned on the fairy lights at the appropriate times etc. They inobtrusively cleared and served dessert. They worked REALLY hard all night long. Our service captain that night was Emma who I can't say enough about. She was on top of everything. We also had an executive chef on hand. There was someone assigned to cater to the needs of the bride and groom. I also used this caterer for my husbands birthday party in January, a trial run of sorts, and again the presentation, quality of the food and service were top notch.

Pete and the team were unbelievable to work with. The food was absolutely incredible and our guests said it was the best they had tasted at a wedding. They were flexible, met all of our dietary needs for all of our guests, and created amazing dishes not even included on their menu. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully to top it off. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the absolute best quality!

We worked primarily with Pete from Catering with Christine. We got married in New Haven, but live in NY, which made planning a challenge at times, but Pete was so kind and flexible in the times he met with us for our tastings and made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. He treated not only myself and husband with extreme respect and professionalism, but my parents as well, who had a few special requests. Everything at the tasting was so delicious, it was difficult to narrow it down, and the day-of was no different. We were so pleased with not only the presentation of the food at cocktail hour and dinner, but the taste as well. An amazing value for the services he and his staff (who were fun, professional, and efficient) delivered. I remember him telling us at our walk-though that our job was to relax and have the time of our lives and he and his staff would take care of the rest. He truly delivered, and we are so grateful to have found Pete and Catering with Christine.

Pete Biondi and his staff did an amazing job with my 10/21 wedding! Every detail was perfect and he made sure everything went exactly how I had hoped. The food was beyond delicious and the staff was so amazing, kind, and attentive. If you’re lucky enough, ask to have Tiffany as your bridal attendant. She went above and beyond to make sure your every need was met.

My husband and I were married on September 30. We were referred to Catering by Christine by a friend. Pete & Christine did their daughter’s wedding last year and raved about how wonderful they were. We emailed with Pete who provided us with a proposal that was perfect for our outdoor, rustic farm wedding. We were late in the planning process so Pete got us in right away for a tasting. The food was delicious and the presentation was stunning. We tried so many tasty things that day that it was difficult to pick our final choices. Pete even did a second tasting with our parents a few weeks later. I was a bit nervous about the second tasting because my in-laws are phenomenal cooks. Pete & Christine did not disappoint!! We tried several appetizers, entrees, and dessert and our parents loved everything. We immediately booked them for the wedding. Pete was an absolute pleasure to work with over the next few months. In addition to helping us finalize our meal choices, he also provided expertise and feedback about nearly everything else. He helped us with our rentals, flower decoration ideas, flow of the reception, timing, etc. As a type “A” person, I often micromanage, but none of that was needed with Pete. He was on top of everything and worked very well with our planner and family members who helped with the wedding. He made himself available for late night conference calls too and never skipped a beat. On the big day, Pete and his staff were spectacular. We received so many compliments from our guests and family about the food and outstanding service. Our bridal party even had a personal attendant who helped make sure that we had food and beverages during photos and throughout the night. The “Captain” worked so hard shuffling around the property as we took photos in different areas, but had a smile on her face the whole time. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to multi-task that much, but if it was, she never showed it. As the bride, that meant the world to me. During the rest of the night, Pete and his staff were on top of everything and left the property spotless the next morning. When we finally got our wedding photos, I got to see other things that Pete & Christine worked so hard to achieve and execute: the little decorations on the reception tables, the smiles on our guests faces during cocktail hour as they munched on the delicious hors d’oeuvres, the beautifully decorated cocktail bar, and the gorgeous country pie dessert stand – just to name a few! Oh, and we just heard from our friend that they are using Pete & Christine for their other child’s wedding next summer. We also plan on keeping them in mind for future events of any size. Pete was nothing short of amazing. He worked with us right from the beginning of our wedding planning process. He isn't just a caterer--he also serves as a coordinator assisting with timeline of events, organizing etc. He made himself available more than once to sit down with us and answer any questions we had along the way. Catering by Christine's food is absolutely outstanding. The list of hor devours was endless and took us days to even decide on our menu. Guests raved about the food being delicious and the portion sizes being large. Guests said "it was the best salmon they've had in their entire life." What also made us have a great experience was having two staff members (Emma and Tiffany) right by my husband and I's side literally the entire wedding to assist us in getting anything we may need, always making sure we had a drink in our hand, keeping us on schedule etc. They even helped us during pictures with poses, fixing my veil..the list could go on-these ladies were truly amazing! Food is one of the biggest components of having a special wedding to remember and Catering by Christine we can truly say will make sure everything turns out perfect-just the way everyone hopes their special day will be! We highly recommend them to anyone!

We were married in September at the carousel building at Lighthouse Point Park. Pete and the Catering by Christine staff came highly recommended right from the start, they have done tons of weddings there and know it like the back of their hand. They were easy to work with throughout the whole process, besides some delays in email responses. They made all of our requests happen and the food was fantastic. We are still getting compliments on it a month later, especially on the mashed potato bar! We had a buffet style and everyone got their food quickly and loved being able to try a bit of everything instead of being locked into a meal choice, since all the options were so good! The cocktail hour we heard was unmatched and everyone loved the hour d’oeuvres. A great friend of ours fixed up a row boat for us and the staff made sure to keep it filled with beers for the entire day to cut down on lines at the bar. As the bride, my husband and I had our own personal waitress Tiffany who was beyond AMAZING. She made sure we always had a drink in our hands, appetizers to eat and got us and our bridal party anything we needed. At the end of the night she made sure to box up the remainder of our cake, wrapped our champagne flutes, cake topper, and loaded them personally into our truck that we rented for decorations (we made a ton!). They were all so professional and the service was seamless. As mentioned we made a lot of decorations for the wedding. Pete and the staff made sure to set them all up with the direction of a few family members of ours and it all came together more beautifully than I could have ever imagined. If you are getting married, especially at a do it yourself venue like Lighthouse Point where you have to bring in all of your vendors, don't even think twice about hiring them. They are a well-oiled machine and will make your day perfect! I can't recommend them highly enough!!

The food from Catering by Christine is delicious and our guests loved it. However, Pete took a while (sometimes needing two emails) to respond to us. He also mixed up our initial meeting and threw in a mashed potato bar to make up for it; however, the mashed potato bar was not at our wedding. Neither were the "signature drinks" we had discussed. Although none of the guests knew that they were missing, it still bothered us a great deal afterward.

Catering by Christine was extremely professional and took care of everything the day of the wedding. We didn't have to worry about a thing, and the food was fantastic. Months later and our guests are still talking about the mashed potato bar.

When my husband and I started wedding planning we both agreed that the food and the music are the two most important aspects. After talking with other venues and caterers we were frustrated that everyone just wanted to talk cost (and they were so expensive!!). When we called Pete with Catering by Christine, he just said, why don't you come down, we'll cook some food for you and see what you think. Well after about 15 amazingly delicious and creative appetizers/hors d'oeuvres and hearing about Pete's impressive experience and expertise in the field of wedding catering--we knew we had to have him. Pete was incredible, super flexible and had great ideas about the best ways to get people served in a timely manner that worked with the flow of the venue. The food was DELICIOUS, every single bite! And somehow to top it all off, they gave us the most reasonable price compared to all the other caterers we talked to. Everything was flawless on wedding day, and we couldn't possibly be any happier with Catering by Christine!
