Catering by Dani

Ooof. Every newly married couple gets the "Did anything go wrong with your wedding?" For us, it was the catering. I don't want to go on a long rant about all the details (I could), but here are the spark notes and the reasons for my 1 star review: 1. Failure in communication. I could not get Dani to reply to me. I had to reach out several times to get replies from her, including the week of my wedding, which was just unnecessarily stressful. 2. Late to setup. They were supposed to setup the day before my wedding between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the venue. They didn't arrive until 7:45 PM. 15 minutes before the venue closed. They setup in a hurry the day of instead. Again, unnecessarily stressful. 3. Dinner began 40 minutes late. Lost time dancing, celebrating, and chatting with guests because we were waiting for dinner to be served. 4. Food ran out. We hosted a taco bar for our wedding and though I gave a total number that was slightly higher than our attending RSVP's, I had multiple guests from multiple tables tell us about things that had run up when they went up for food (taco shells, chicken, cheese, salad). 5. Lack of ownership on what went wrong. I shared the feedback above with Dani and she took zero responsibility, which was very disappointing as I had honestly worked hard to help and partner with Dani during the wedding planning process.
