Catering by Design

They were flexible with last minute changes and very communicative with my coordinator. And we had so many guests tell us it was some of the best wedding food they'd ever had! We'll definitely be recommending them to friends in the future!

! We had the Southern buffet and everyone commented during/after dinner how tasty the barbecue, chicken, AND Mac n cheese was. Mac and cheese had great flavor and consistency. Chicken was perfectly juicy and not dry. Overall very good. All of my guests finished their food because of how much they liked it! 2. The catering staff were incredibly helpful. We had an attendant who brought us our salad and dinner to the head table, constantly kept our glasses filled/offered us drinks if we were running low, and made sure appetizers were in the bridal suite so we could enjoy a private moment. They also served our cookies and cake even though we did not get the dessert through them. 3. No incredibly long line at the bar or the buffet. They were on time and worked efficiently to keep lines running quickly and my guests were ecstatic to not have to wait forever for drinks or food. 4. Great communication from start to finish. Even in wedding season they got back to me quickly and answered my many questions and were extremely helpful. So thankful they helped make my wedding day so great!

ing manager was very down to earth and didn’t pressure us to do anything we didn’t want to (unlike several other caterers we talked with). On the day the staff was very friendly and completely on top of everything. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The catering manager even caught an oversight on the rental company‘s part a few days before the wedding, which shows their extreme attention to detail. They were also able to accommodate several dietary restrictions for our guests.

They'll let you customize your dream menu and also have bartending services! They set up, cleaned up, cleared plates, cut the cake, and checked on the bride and groom to make sure we were satisfied. I couldn't recommend them enough!

out those almost three years, Catering By Design was unbelievably helpful and understanding. We decided to have stationed appetizers and a buffet because, let’s face it, who doesn’t like to have a bunch of options?! The staff was absolutely amazing and so accommodating, and the food was spectacular. As we provided the liquor, we decided to have Catering By Design provide the mixers and soft drinks and sweet tea. I asked if they could also provide grenadine and cherries so the six kids we had at the wedding could have Shirley Temples. What I never expected was for them to go over and beyond by making an entire beverage dispenser of Shirley Temple with a huge bowl of maraschino cherries next to it. Of course, I was a bit busy dancing my feet off so I didn’t even notice it, but we received so many compliments on that detail. I wish I had realized it that night because it was so special. Never, in all my years, did I expect them to do that from my simple request of having grenadine and cherries! That is something you can’t teach; their clients come first and they make you feel so special. The bartender was great and she kept checking on us through the night, ensuring we had everything we needed. The servers were so polite and personable and they were the epitome of professionalism. At the end of the night, they packed our leftovers in to go containers and packed the leftover cake for us also. Do yourself a favor and choose Catering By Design!

tasting to the day-of. My parents exhausted all of the major caterers in the area, and none came close to Catering by Design with regard to food tastings. My husband and I were out-of-state, so my parents did the initial tasting. Catering by Design happily provided he and I another tasting, so we could sample and tweak the final menu. Perhaps MOST important - everyone prepared my husband and I that we wouldn't get a chance to eat on our wedding day. Catering by the Design saw to it that we tried everything from the cocktail hour and had a plate waiting for us when we sat down at the reception. I left my wedding full -- no togo box needed (but I know they would have provided one if we asked!)

ill talking about the bacon and gouda stuffed chicken with a pesto cream sauce. The staff was very professional, and my contact - Kelli - was so organized. I was even able to order all the linens through them, so one less thing for me to worry about. I felt that compared to other caterers, Catering by Design is affordable, even once you add tip in, which isn't included in the bill. We also loved that the staff packed myself and my husband to-go plates, as well as all the extra food. We had a massive family party the next night, so the leftovers were perfect! I can't say it enough - Catering by Design was wonderful to work with and delicious! I'm getting hungry again just writing this review!

all the tables and Kelli was always friendly and super helpful. She even came to the final walk through at the venue, which made a huge impression on me! The food was absolutely out of this world! We chose the BBQ and chicken when green beans and mac and cheese. It was all so good and we had so many guests come up to us both during the reception and afterwards, talking about how wonderful the food was, especially the mac and cheese! There is also a huge selection of linens, plates, silverware, napkins, etc... to choose from, so I would recommend using them for rentals as well as food! I've also heard they do a great job with events other than weddings, as well! I will definitely be using them again!
