Catering by GMC

we received many compliments about the food at our wedding. Jerry was super easy to work with and of course, very kind. The food was exactly as expected. The catering staff was very nice and helpful

Friendly and professional. Very reasonable pricing. Reliable service. I would say the only thing we were disappointed by was that we intentionally over estimated the amount of food so that there would be leftovers, but the servings given were so large that a lot of food was thrown out and there were no leftovers in the end. Regardless, I would definitely go with them again. Much friendlier and easier to work with (and less expensive) than anyone else we talked to about catering our wedding.

I would highly recommend Catering by GMC to anyone looking for great food for an event! Their food was very reasonably priced and I loved how each main dish and side dish we wanted was priced seperately, so we got exactly what we wanted on each plate. We catered food for 100 people and there was enough food for whoever wanted seconds and leftovers after that with the option to pick it up after the wedding. The owners are wonderful. Very responsive, flexible, and willing to work with you. We did a tasting and got to try the exact food we had at our wedding, which was wonderful!! I would highly recommend Catering by GMC!!

GMC catering is worth it! They are very quick getting food served and they have the best food. You will not be disappointed!

Im so glad a client of mine referred us to Galesburg Meat Company. Tammy amd Jerry were a pleasure to work with and very professional. They showed up about 2 hours before our wedding and had everything set up including setting up glassware and linen nakpinks at the tables. We opted for buffet style and had top sirloin, smoked chicken, green beans, corn, red garlic potatos, pasta salad, side salad, and dinner rolls. Everything was piping hot and delicious. We had so many complaints on the food! I'd book them again in a heart beat.

Tammy and Jerry were phenomenal to work with. They ALWAYS answered the phone. Jerry even answered on the day of their sons wedding(I didn't know it was that day or I would have called another time). The two of them met with just the two of us for our taste test. They cooked us lots of food, let us bring home leftovers, and even gave us a bottle of their barbeque sauce. They were always prompt and thorough in their responses to my emails. They were flexible on menus and pricing, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had smoked chicken and beef brisket and all of our guests raved. We did have a glitch with ending up with long table clothes instead of round, but I don't think I ever specified so that's probably my fault. I was thrilled with and highly recommend catering by GMC.

I used GMC to cater my outdoor wedding for 350 people with a buffet menu of smoked chicken, pulled pork, beef brisket, fruit salad, roasted potatoes, green beans and bacon with family style green salad and rolls and butter. The food was so good! The meat was extremely flavorful and tender. The service was even more reputable. I highly recommend them!
