GMC provided a free tasting prior to us booking with them. They had us try a variety of their selections and we got to bring two guests with this. We ended up booking them the same...
day. They have a large selection of food to choose from. We ended up having garlic butter chicken breasts, hamburgers (grilled on site), Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, Caesar salad, rolls, and a meat and cheese and fruit cocktail hour. What amazing food and service. We paid extra to have their staff serve at the buffet line and clean up the plates. They also cut our cake. This was definitely one of the highlights of our day.
We agreed upon things at our tasting only for nearly 4 grand later they removed my buns without telling me and forgot my sauces for our very dry meat. Very unprofessional instead ...
of a a sorry or a try to make it right they laugh at you . Stay away you guys your money can be better spent with a honest company!
I would 100% recommend this company to anybody looking for good food and good people! Tammy and Jerry were so wonderful to work with for our wedding! Tammy went above and beyond to...
help me out on things she didn't need to but wanted to because she is that great of a person! I will cater from them again!
The whole experience was awesome from start to finish! Jerry was awesome to work with and would always be quick to answer all my crazy questions! They came to the venue (my parents...
home) the night before and went over everything and had some last minute questions to make sure everything would run smoothly. Everyone showed up on time and were SO nice. We had tons of leftovers and they were all packaged up nice for someone to throw in the fridge. Would 10/10 recommend. Oh, and food was awesome! Lots of compliments!
The staff are so great to work with, they all go above and beyond! The food is nothing short of amazing. This company I would highly recommend again and again!
Jerry is so personable, quick to respond and just made the entire catering planning so easy! We went for a tasting which was amazing and the food the day of was top notch! Service ...

Friendly and professional. Very reasonable pricing. Reliable service. I would say the only thing we were disappointed by was that we intentionally over estimated the amount of food...
so that there would be leftovers, but the servings given were so large that a lot of food was thrown out and there were no leftovers in the end. Regardless, I would definitely go with them again. Much friendlier and easier to work with (and less expensive) than anyone else we talked to about catering our wedding.
I would highly recommend Catering by GMC to anyone looking for great food for an event! Their food was very reasonably priced and I loved how each main dish and side dish we wanted...
was priced seperately, so we got exactly what we wanted on each plate. We catered food for 100 people and there was enough food for whoever wanted seconds and leftovers after that with the option to pick it up after the wedding. The owners are wonderful. Very responsive, flexible, and willing to work with you. We did a tasting and got to try the exact food we had at our wedding, which was wonderful!! I would highly recommend Catering by GMC!!
GMC catering is worth it! They are very quick getting food served and they have the best food. You will not be disappointed!
Awesome staff. Let us change our minds and update numbers until 2 days prior to our wedding. Food was spectacular.
Im so glad a client of mine referred us to Galesburg Meat Company. Tammy amd Jerry were a pleasure to work with and very professional. They showed up about 2 hours before our weddi...
ng and had everything set up including setting up glassware and linen nakpinks at the tables. We opted for buffet style and had top sirloin, smoked chicken, green beans, corn, red garlic potatos, pasta salad, side salad, and dinner rolls. Everything was piping hot and delicious. We had so many complaints on the food! I'd book them again in a heart beat.
Tammy and Jerry were phenomenal to work with. They ALWAYS answered the phone. Jerry even answered on the day of their sons wedding(I didn't know it was that day or I would have cal...
led another time). The two of them met with just the two of us for our taste test. They cooked us lots of food, let us bring home leftovers, and even gave us a bottle of their barbeque sauce. They were always prompt and thorough in their responses to my emails. They were flexible on menus and pricing, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had smoked chicken and beef brisket and all of our guests raved. We did have a glitch with ending up with long table clothes instead of round, but I don't think I ever specified so that's probably my fault. I was thrilled with and highly recommend catering by GMC.
I used GMC to cater my outdoor wedding for 350 people with a buffet menu of smoked chicken, pulled pork, beef brisket, fruit salad, roasted potatoes, green beans and bacon with fam...
ily style green salad and rolls and butter. The food was so good! The meat was extremely flavorful and tender. The service was even more reputable. I highly recommend them!
