Catering by Westwood

From our initial conversation, to our tasting, Randy was extremely communicative in helping plan all our catering and bar needs for our wedding. They are professional, they are attentive, and you can tell they care about the work they are doing and the food they are putting out for you. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food and signature cocktails were. My husband is a strict vegetarian and Randy provided a wonderful selection of vegetarian/vegan options (along with meat and fish!) to serve at our wedding. We cannot sing enough praises for him and his team!

Westwood was a preferred vendor at the O’Donnell house. We had great communication with them prior to our tasting and had an excellent tasting. On our wedding day, we were served a totally different type of chicken. I was shocked and upset but didn’t want to say something at that moment — it was our wedding day lol. I emailed Randy once back from our honeymoon and informed him that we were disappointed that he did not serve us what we had picked out and had printed on our menus. His response blew me away. He told us he made the same thing we had at our tasting and that he’s been making it since 1989 so he would know. We tasted Parmesan crusted chicken with a red pepper cream sauce. He served us what looked like boiled chicken maybe slightly pan fried for a second or so with some kind of very light colored sauce (and not a lot of it). Anyone with eyeballs knows the difference between Parmesan crusted and regular plain chicken. He never responded again after I replied to the email. What a complete bummer to have paid 11,000 for food we didn’t want or like and for the company not even to acknowledge it. People keep asking how the wedding was and I can’t help but to respond “everything was perfect except the caterer served the wrong food” Hope he’s happy with his 11K knowing he will forever be the only negative part of my wedding!!

Randy and his staff catered our wedding on Feb 13th in the Coachella valley and WOW. Beginning to end, Randy made the experience easy and fun as we selected our BBQ menu and place settings. The food was INCREDIBLE - only matched by the quality of the service. We had about 110 people in attendance, and all were happily fed + full at the end of the night. Thank you Randy and team!

Randy was amazing! He met with us several times to get us exactly what we wanted for our Persian/American menu and was able to be creative and modify the menu to meet our budget. The food was excellent, so many guests commented positively. His team did a great job as well. Would definitely work with Randy and team again.
