Catering On Locke

Chef Marcus Locke is a rising star in the Kansas City culinary scene, known for his passion and expertise in creating exceptional cuisine. A Kansas City native, Marcus pursued his culinary education at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Academy in Austin, Texas, where he had the opportunity to work alongside renowned Chef Josh Watkins at The Carillon. During his time there, Marcus played a key role in helping establish The Carillon as one of Austin's premier fine dining destinations. After his successful tenure in Austin, Chef Locke returned to Kansas City to further hone his skills, beginning with a role at the beloved Italian restaurant, Lidia’s. He was soon recruited to help transform the Crossroads District into a culinary hub, taking on the role of First Sous Chef at The Jacobson. His journey then led him to The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, where, he became the Executive Chef, he has elevated the dining experience at Rozzelle Court and contributed to major events at the museum as well as numerous weddings. In addition to his work in these esteemed kitchens, Chef Locke has competed in Kansas City’s Iron Fork competition. His dedication to his craft and ability to consistently deliver memorable dining experiences have earned him a well-deserved reputation in the culinary world."
