You will not once regret hiring Catherine to be your wedding day photographer! After dealing with a crazed photographer for my sister's wedding, I knew I had to find one that I could work seamlessly with. That person was 100% Catherine. No detail too big or small phased her. Catherine was upbeat, energetic, and took so much care to make sure she got the photos that we wanted on our big day. I took Bridal Portraits with Catherine which was an amazing way to begin our relationship and made me so much more comfortable on the big day. On the wedding day, Catherine was enthusiastic and went with the flow. She has such an easy way about her and when she sensed I was getting stressed over something, calmly acknowledged the problem and assured me of a simple solution. With her leading the way through our long shot list, I never once got annoyed or frustrated. She was organized and on time, qualities you definitely want in a photographer. My favorite thing was probably her and her husband's presence at our reception. They always seemed to there right when I wanted them for a photo! And yet, I never felt like they were crowding me or my guests. Catherine, you were a joy to work with and I hope our paths cross again sometime soon!

Where to even begin?! Catherine is a DREAM. To any and all on the hunt - look no further you have found the perfect wedding photographer who will leave your wedding feeling like family :) Photography was a very big priority for me and a very low priority for my husband. After meeting and working with Catherine he is singing a very different tune. We planned our wedding from out of state and did all of our research online. I spent hours looking at different work from all different photographers and after talking to Catherine I cancelled EVERY other phone interview I had and put down my deposit. Many people forget that you spend your WHOLE wedding day with your photographer. This is NOT someone who is simply taking your photos. This is someone who is there while you are getting ready, putting your dress on, seeing your first moment with your husband, meeting all your family and friends and capturing your day. Catherine is the FULL package. She delivers exceptional photos, is so organized, directs photos and makes you feel comfortable. (She was wiping my dress with a baby wipe prior to ceremony because a little dirt had got on it...are you kidding?! Wedding savior!) Catherine's second shooter was her husband Brad and they are DREAM TEAM. During our first look my husband started to get hangry Brad didn't skip a beat and ran over to Morning Call to grab waters and a snack. These two are INCREDIBLE. We could not have been more pleased with Catherine Guidry Photography! Catherine and Brad did an amazing job capturing our wedding day and were so easy to work with! They both did a great job making us feel comfortable and relaxed the entire day. The pictures are absolutely beautiful and we got them so quickly! I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Catherine has an absolute gift for the art of photography. She captured our wedding night perfectly! I love that looking at our pictures brings back all the happy, sweet, and fun moments of our wedding! She is also such a sweet person and so easy to work with. She made taking pictures fun and not feel like a chore (like can sometimes happen when your taking a ton of pictures in such a short time period). She even takes the time to understand the couple and family dynamics (because we all have family drama) to make sure the night goes smoothly and all of the pictures you want are taken. I can't say enough good things about her and I promise, if you hire her as your photographer, you will have no regrets. She's worth it!

How do I even begin? Working with Catherine was such a dream and I am eternally grateful for her love, dedication, and now friendship. Catherine is simply amazing and extremely professional/organized. Being the youngest of 4 siblings, I have always told myself that a photographer is the most important vendor in the wedding process as they are the ones who will provide you treasures to truly last your lifetime. The day I met Catherine to discuss possible ideas for engagements, bridals, and the wedding itself, I felt like I had known her forever. I am in awe of our photos from our wedding day and the details she focused in on that mean so much to my family and I. I have the utmost respect for Catherine as a professional and I am eternally thankful for her care and friendship. I cannot imagine having a better wedding photographer. She is truly an artist. Not only that, she takes special care to understand the family dynamics of your wedding and makes sure that you get every single combination of pictures you want. She is very organized and so much fun to be around. I felt completely taken care of the entire day. We got our photos very fast after the wedding and she did an incredible job. I had high expectations after seeing her work online, but the photos exceeded even that. She also remembered everyone's name in the wedding, which made us feel like we were unique to her. But once I first spoke with her on the phone/met her it confirmed every more so the reason that we chose to use her. Catherine is an incredible person and her work not only exudes that. I had heard of Catherine through my best friend, who used Catherine for her wedding. After seeing Catherine's pictures, I fell in love with her style of photography. Catherine was so extremely organized on our wedding day- she made sure she got the photos we had discussed and fixed all the details (my hair, dress, whatever!) to make sure everything looked its best. More importantly, Catherine and Brad are so inviting, I felt comfortable with them after only a few minutes of meeting them in person. It is so easy to see that they are genuine, extremely kind people who are following their passion! Catherine was amazing to work with! We are from out of town so had to "meet" Catherine through Google Hangouts but you could tell from day 1 that she is incredibly professional and easy to be with. It's awesome she uses film and digital! She was so organized through the whole process and really made me feel confident everything was going to be great!

One thing I was told over and over again as I began to plan my wedding was that picking the right photographer was absolutely crucial. Because of this, I did A TON of research before choosing my photographer and I definitely chose THE BEST! Catherine was so much fun to work with, and was completely professional throughout the entire process. My husband and I LOVE Catherine! She was such a doll to work with for our engagement session and our wedding. The pictures she captured are unreal! They made me relive the night. She is also very organized and stays on top of things as far as receiving invoices and your photos on time. From the get go, I said picking the photographer was the biggest and most important decision in wedding planning (aside from finding your future spouse!) and I am SO thrilled I found Catherine. She is so easy to work with and has incredible talent! She did my bridals and engagement photos prior to the big day and after each session, I got a better idea of the "must have" photos I wanted for the wedding. And when there were some schedule bumps that morning causing some stress, Catherine was AMAZING at keeping up an upbeat spirit to help everyone feel a bit calmer. She was a big hit - both our families fell in love with her and raved about how kind and helpful she was and then raved about her talent once they saw the photos! I strongly recommend Catherine! Her sweet, easy going personality allowed me to feel more comfortable voicing my likes vs disklikes and her upbeat energy definitely helped make the photo shoots not only easy but SUPER FUN! :)

Working with Catherine was a dream. She is a great listener and fulfilled all of my expectations as far as a photographer goes.... My bridals were amazing. The pictures from our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception were well-thought out and beautiful. She was easy to contact and quick to respond, straight forward, organized, and seemed to really care about doing a fabulous job...she went above and beyond to make our experience great, even helping me with a few wardrobe malfunctions haha! The photo books that I ordered through her are high quality and perfect on our coffee table- I receive so many compliments. Some of the bridal prints I ordered came out very dark due to a misprint from the printing company she uses, and she quickly and without question sent me perfect replacements. It was a pleasant surprise to receive all of our digital pictures discs so timely. I would highly recommend her!

My fiance and I moved to Lafayette just 2 months before selecting it to be the location of our wedding. Coming into things, I was dead set on using a photographer I knew from back home...until I met Catherine. From our very first meeting, I felt like I had known Catherine forever. Plus, she was amazing resource for other local vendors- like my great makeup artist (who I adored). Our engagement pictures were so fun, we laughed and cut up the whole time- despite the fact it was a scorching 90 degree September day. The bridal portraits were no different (except the weather), Catherine made me feel so comfortable and beautiful and the pictures showed it. Where to start on the wedding day, #1 it was perfect because it was our wedding day, #2 Catherine was awesome. She was every where- but not in an annoying in your face way- but a subtle fly on the wall kind of way. And her 2nd shooter, Amelia, is about as sweet as she can be. I'm not sure if my memory is fuzzy or if our wedding really was as gorgeous as the pictures Catherine took, but either way, we got some pretty darn amazing pictures. She captured everything- sweet looks between my parents at the ceremony, pictures of the food (which I don't remember at all), funny candid shots of our guests. My fiance and I couldn't have dreamed of more perfect pictures to capture our special day. I wish I could have another wedding so I could use Catherine again.

I can't say enough about Catherine! I don't even know where to begin on how AMAZING she is. Let me just say, I know A LOT of people who went with the "oh this photographer is cheaper because they are new so I'll save money and go with them" option and then they complain because their photographer took boring/overdone pictures, didn't help them come up with cute ideas for poses, and didn't command everyone's attention when getting group photos on the wedding day. Catherine not only came up with creative poses and ideas, she basically coordinated our entire wedding! We saw her work at a friend of our's wedding and before we were even engaged we knew we wanted her to do our wedding! Her pictures were so different than any of the many others we looked at (Hey, we gave other's a shot, but there was no competition!). Catherine knows what shots work, which don't, where the best light is at any given second, how to pose you so you look fabulous, and how to make your wedding day run smooth and STRESS FREE! Our engagements pictures were so different and fun and true to our personalities that literally everyone who has seen them comments on how great they are and asks us who took them! They were even published on freshsqueezedweddings.com! We wanted to incorporate lots of those pictures into our wedding day and Catherine was so sweet and willing to make our vision come true- including working with 2 rowdy dogs in our engagement pictures and my spirited Arabian horse in my bridals. She was willing to drive 2 hours away so I could have my bridals taken at our family farm (something Old South Photography wouldn't do for my sister!). On the day of the wedding, she worked so hard to get all the shots we wanted, including 2 pictures with 60 people that ran so smoothly, you think we practiced! Her second shooter Amelia was so sweet and such a blessing to have 2 photographers during the ceremony to catch both our expressions. THE PICTURES ARE THE ONLY PART OF YOUR WEDDING THAT WILL LAST ONCE THE DAY IS OVER. YOU WANT THEM TO BE PERFECT AND CATHERINE IS JUST THAT- PERFECTION!!
