Catherine Ladd Photography has served weddings in Bangor, ME, for many years while also covering events in the nearby New England and North East areas. Since 2010, the studio has been a vibrant asset in many Maine weddings and regularly draws inspiration from the beautiful landscape. The studio’s aesthetic is clean and crisp and draws the viewer’s eyes towards what matters most; the happy couple.
Catherine Ladd and her husband Jeremy are a photography tag-team on the hunt for love, romance, and heartwarming candid moments. After earning a degree in fine arts from the University of Maine, Catherine followed her heart to begin a career in wedding photography. Jeremy joined the team, and the duo now makes an excellent partnership as their relationship inspires them daily.
While capturing memorable and intimate details regularly, the pair never grow tired of witnessing real love blossom and thrive through their lens. Every wedding is a new and fresh opportunity to spread happiness. Keeping her eyes peeled for those unforgettable moments, Catherine aims to produce a collection of timeless and invaluable photos for every couple. The flow of the event is a top priority for this team, and by using a photojournalist style, events are captured as they happen. As a result, couples can relax in front of the camera and enjoy their special day.
Wedding packages by Catherine Ladd Photography provide up to eight hours of coverage for the big day. Finished photos will become available through a personal online gallery, and couples can additionally request printed copies and photo albums. Add-on services by the studio include artful items such as books and slideshows. From beginning to end, the studio looks after every element of the photography process so that couples can enjoy their celebrations.

Since I’m a corporate event planner for my day job, it was important to me that I pick my wedding vendors that were organized, communicative, detail oriented and shared the same vision as we did. I knew after our first Skype meeting that Catherine and Jeremy were special. They really wanted to get to know us as a couple, our preferences and were amazing at helping me work through the tight timelines all while providing a calming experience for us. We were so pleased with their photography. Capturing all the special moments throughout the day with our loved ones, documenting all the details we spent months preparing and wrapped with their signature style of timeless, beautiful, light, airy and romantic. Exactly as I envisioned.
Not only are the pictures gorgeous but I love the many options of color, black and white, horizontal and vertical. Catherine and Jeremy really think through what their customers’ needs from start to finish for an overall great customer experience. I can’t wait to print these precious memories and hang them in our home, the hard part will be choosing from the hundreds of “favorites”! they came out to a small island in Maine to do our engagement shoot, which was such a great experience. We had a lot of contact with them up until the wedding, and on the day they were fantastic at working to our schedule, and got through the list of family photos with super efficiency!
