We are wedding planners and having a photographer that has exceptional teamwork, communication, and helping to remain on the schedule is important to us. Catherine was amazing to work with! She did our engagement photos, my bridals and our wedding. She met with me at different locations to ensure I was going to be happy with the spot and lighting. She has a wonderful personality and is so easy to get along with. She has great suggestions of places to take photos. The team she had on our wedding day was amazing to work with also. I cannot recommend Catherine enough!

If you are questioning who you should hire for your photographer, don't wait and book Cathi! Seriously, she is an absolute dream to work with! She did our engagements, my bridals, and our wedding and everything was amazing. She is not only your photographer, but will also be your listening ear every step of the way. Planning during COVID hasn't been ideal, but Cathi told me she was just phone call away. Some people may just say that, but not the case for Cathi. Whether I was calling her asking for her opinion or she was calling me just to check in, she was just a phone call away. I knew my now husband wouldn't be too excited to take our engagements in the afternoon in the middle of May, but I'm telling you Cathi made it the most painless process...he didn't complain once! With my bridal portraits and our wedding, it just felt like Cathi was a friend there. So professional but also so so personable. Also didn't hurt she's a redhead like a majority of my family ;) Again, can't recommend or thank her enough. We will forever use her for any photography needs we have in the future :)

Cathi photographed our wedding in September 2019 and did a fabulous job! Our church and reception venue were at two different locations and we had over 200 people so it was quite the day and she didn't miss a beat. We were also planning the wedding from out of state, Cathi always found time to meet with me when I was in town and through multiple phone calls. I was a very relaxed bride and she did a great job giving me direction/expectations for photography on our big day. She was so flexible and was able to capture so many precious moments that I cannot wait to hang on our walls. 100% would recommend! My only advice to brides is to look through pinterest, etc. to create a list of must have photos and share that with Cathi - she will make sure she meets all your needs! I am so happy we used Cathi for our day and highly recommend her to future brides and grooms.

Catherine is absolutely AMAZING! It was so important to me to find a photographer I felt comfortable with for a couples session with my husband and I. We had the best time with her and she made the session a breeze. She was very responsive to all my messages and we got our photos back pretty quickly! I will definitely use her in the future.

Cathi did both my engagements and my wedding day and I was so pleased with both shoots! The photographer is by far your most important vendor and I would recommend her 10 times over! She is so kind and takes the time to get to know both bride and groom. She is professional but you also feel like you’ve known her for years because she makes you feel so comfortable! My husband and I were referred to Catherine and so glad we found her. We reached out to her and was very responsive. We soon set a date to meet and discuss what we were looking for in our wedding photos and the style of photos. She showed us full albums and different styles she’s shot. We immediately felt very comfortable with her and she was very professional. We chose her most comprehensive photo package. We loved our engagement and wedding photos. She was a gem to work with and I’d choose her again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend to use as your wedding photographer! Finding the right photographer was harder for us than finding our wedding venue. We are so happy we picked Cathi to capture our big day. She is sooo talented beyond words. All of our pictures turned out amazing! Even our reception dancing pictures turned out great even though the venue was really dark at that time. We are currently struggling to select "our favorite" pictures for our photo album since we have so many that we love! If my husband and I had a wedding each year, we would pick her every single time! We can't thank her enough!

Cathi was wonderful to work with! She was so accommodating of all my requests & worked well with my busy wedding day timeline. I did an engagement & bridal shoots also and she is a master of her craft! Her photography is stunning & she has an unbelievable eye for detail—she will make sure everything in the scene is perfect. Catherine is an amazing photographer to work with. She was super punctual and very accommodating and also helpful. I scheduled a bridal portrait shoot three months in advance and the photo day ended up being in the middle of a 10 day raining period in Houston. Originally we planned on having the shoot done in downtown Houston in a public garden but had to change plans just a few days prior. Catherine helped me pick an alternate location to do the bridal shoot and it could not have worked out better. We ended up doing it in a lovely indoor studio in downtown Houston. Catherine is well knowledgeable on locations and location policies. She is very resourceful. Catherine is so fun to work with. Oh and I loved my bridal photos. I could not be any more pleased with my bridal portraits. They are amazing. Thank you!

From the moment we met with Cathi, we knew she was the right vendor for us. She took time to get to know us and what was important to us for our wedding day. She had the style we were going for and made you feel super comfortable when she took your picture. Her second photographer was just as amazing and the sweetest! It was such a pleasure working with Catherine Smeader for our wedding and the package that we chose included everything that we could have wanted for a reasonable price. She was very professional and was always on time for our sessions. When we were shooting our engagement pictures, we had to do the pictures on two separate occasions due to weather issues and she was more than willing to work with us and made sure that we had all the shots that we wanted. She made it easy with rescheduling and had an impressive list of locations that made extremely beautiful backgrounds in our pictures. When it came to the wedding day, I was a complete mess, but she was there again to take away the stress of figuring out when and where everyone needed to be for pictures, so I was able to relax and just enjoy my wedding. Not to mention that the quality of her pictures was nothing short of extraordinary. Now I have the most beautiful pictures to look back on for the rest of my life and that is a gift I will forever treasure. I would highly recommend her as a photographer for any event.

Great Experience! Cathy stayed in touch through email and kept me calm through the stress. She helped me with deciding what pictures would be best, which took a big load off the stress of the wedding. The day of, she didn't miss any of the special moments. Catheriene Smeader photography was by far the best vendor at my wedding. She is the most professional and kind person I have ever met. We connected so well we continue to talk today. Catherine Smeader Photography is hands down the best photographer I have ever worked with. I hired Cathi for both my engagement pictures and wedding day - they both turned out fantastic! The photos themselves were very well taken with great backgrounds and camera angles. She knew how to best capture how we were feeling in the moment in the photo. On the wedding day, she was able to direct the entire wedding party, and the whole families on the wedding day that was very well structured and efficient. For the family pictures we had little children all the way up to elderly aged adults, she was able to accommodate everybody's needs accordingly to ensure they were comfortable during the process. The payment process was very simple and she laid out all the options of services clearly beforehand. Working with Cathi was not only a pleasure but very professional - she was great! To top it all off, she was very intentional on getting to know me and my fiance personally so that she could best capture our special day. For example, Cathi invited me to meet her for coffee to discuss my vision for the wedding day and to learn more about me and my fiance's love story.
