Catherine Taylor Photography

meeting with Catherine, I knew we had made the right choice for hiring Woodland Fields as our wedding photographer! Truth be told, we were a little hesitant initially to pick a wedding photographer due to the investment; however, Catherine was worth every penny spent. Not only does she produce beautiful photography, she also makes you extremely comfortable and confident while shooting, something that was huge for both my husband and me. And as an added bonus: she LOVES dogs! And that’s important! She was the perfect photographer and we couldn’t have asked for more.

photographer that has been a part of and captured all of the big moments in my life, but also a friend! She has the ability to create magic with a camera, and her images brought me to tears, because of the moments she's captured. I knew from the moment I hired her I could trust her!

camera around her neck so we figured out who she was. While she is getting the wedding dress she knocks over a glass of mimosa and I was scared to death it had gotten in the dress. In our package we requested 2 photographers. There was a second lady there that took very few pictures, mostly of the groom and groomsman. These by far were the best pictures we had gotten. The second photographer was mostly there to run and get things for Catherine. Between the two of them there was not one good picture of the ceremony. They actually took quite a few pictures of the ceremony with the arbor pole blocking my daughter. When it was time for my daughter and her new husbands pictures together she took the same poses over and over again with the dead looking woods in the background. Our venue had a beautiful, lovely lake as a backdrop and not one picture there except of my niece and her family that Catherine took. One of the things I had asked her when we hired her, was if she was good at directing different poses and she said yes she can pose them to make it look very natural and not like a pose. She doesn’t edit like she said she would. You can see the bug bites on my daughter from traipsing through the woods. Thank goodness we have a good friend who is doing some shots of my daughter in her wedding dress because the ones Catherine took were mediocre at best. I had hired her until 9:30 at night and they leave at 7:30. We got a lot of pictures of our guests and the food. Hardly any of my son and daughters dance (3) which was very special because my son was filling in for my daughters deceased father. Catherine took so many more pictures of the groom than the bride and we all know wedding pictures are supposed to be about the bride. Wedding people beware. If you want to hire a photographer who is rude and who gives you mediocre pictures than seek Catherine at Woodland Photography. For the final price of $4,300 I expected so much more!!!!

captured in time. Thank you!!!!!!!!

got to know each other because it is also important that the photographer-client relationship works well for the photos to be what you imagine. We were so comfortable around her for our engagement day and wedding day. She is so detailed oriented and even gave us a preference list of photos for us to choose what we wanted more of captured on our wedding day. Catherine had our wedding party laughing and enjoying the moments. Our photos turned out better than I could imagine; I can't recommend her enough! I mean, how many photographers do you know who will completely undo your wedding dress in the middle of a field when a wasp starts stinging you on your wedding day? (hint: Catherine will) Catherine had my husband and I sharing stories and laughing with her on our wedding day and somehow those moments turned into the most romantic and fun photos of our wedding day. Truly amazing!

ver met Catherine, I immediately felt as though I had known her for years and interacted with her on multiple occasions. She treated my bridal party and I like we were her best friends while also maintaining a professional, organized attitude. I was so relaxed and comfortable with Catherine and her team on my wedding day, and honestly, besides stunning pictures, that’s all a bride wants on her big day. While I could go on and on about all the traits that make Catherine the best choice for a wedding photographer, I will stop to praise her phenomenal photographer skills. My pictures were bright, candid where necessary, and posed when requested, and overall the perfect representation of my husband and I’s wedding day. We relived every single emotion of our wedding day while looking through our album for the first time, because that’s what Catherine does. She captures the intimate moments, the breathtaking moments, the moments that are filled with so much emotion. Zach and I are Woodland Fields clients for life. We can’t wait to share the most special times with the friend we found in Catherine. Bring on family shoots, maternity shoots, newborn shoots, and Christmas cards.

ck some great jokes and have a calming presence, which made us feel more comfortable behind the camera. Catherine worked closely with our wedding planner to create a timeline to ensure we got to take the pictures that we wanted. They were also very patient with the lengthy list we had for family photos and tried their best to get all of the photos taken. Their eye for the perfect shot and attention to detail is unmatched by no other. Our engagement and wedding photos will be something that we cherish forever!

rge really helped me to relaxed and just enjoy the moment instead of stressing out about little things during the day. And of course, our pictures turned out gorgeous too!

n. Catherine was very flexible with this unusual wedding party. Her photos perfectly captured everything we wanted of our perfect day. I am not someone who enjoys being photographed but she made the whole process feel so natural. I liked the questionnaire she had me fill out prior to the wedding that we then discussed, so she knew exactly what was important to me. You will not be sorry if you hire Woodland Fields Photography. I highly recommend her!!!

the admiration I had seen from afar. When my husband and I decided to go to Atlanta to elope, I knew I had to have Catherine capture the day. So much so I chose a date during the week so she could squeeze me in during her busy season. I believe weddings are made up of three major components; the couple, the details, and the vendors. If you find a vendor of any sort that you know has a reputation of bringing magic to your wedding or elopement, hire them! Catherine was my magic ingredient to my day. I had no worry about anything after the decision to hire her was decided. She’s professional but she makes you feel like a friend and puts you at instant comfort. The best decision I made on my elopement was to hire Catherine and then to marry my best friend.

nts. My wife and I are typically terrible at “posing” for photos. Catherine asked questions, had us tell stories, and got us laughing to capture those perfect natural moments without you even realizing it is happening. A few weeks before our wedding she sent a short questionnaire so that she could get a better idea of what we were looking for, the shots that were most important to us, and even family dynamics. She utilized those answers to efficiently plan out the shots so that we could get everything we wanted but also enjoy our wedding day. We got our photos back and they are absolutely stunning! They truly look like they are from a high-end wedding in a magazine. I can not recommend Woodland Fields Photography enough!

uch a joy to work with! I am obsessed with the pictures from my wedding day! She is the best.

era, and even helped with my veil. I would recommend her to any of my friends.

tter photographer for our big day and cannot tout both her professionalism and personality enough. Not only is her work stunning, but Catherine is such a down to earth, easy going and just an overall incredible person, which made us super comfortable and relaxed while being photographed. From the second she arrived on-site, she always kept us smiling and laughing, which made us, our wedding party and our guests love her even more. Something else I'd like to note is how organized and detail-oriented she is. She took time to work closely with us and our wedding planner before our big day to create a day of photography timeline to ensure everything was planned out and captured, which was really important to us. Overall, I truly cannot recommend Catherine enough; hiring her was one of the best decisions ever.

and is able to capture the most genuine and gorgeous details of your wedding day. She truly cares about getting to know the couple so that she can know how to best capture their relationship in absolutely gorgeous photography. We are so happy with our wedding photos that we have been able to see through our preview selection and are so excited to see the rest!

for such ethereal, romantic pictures! She really captured the beauty of our wedding day, the sweet, amazing moments, and she emphasized the dream-like feeling of our special day. Catherine is extremely organized and detailed- she had us fill out a lengthy, incredibly detailed list where she asked all of the important questions for our day-of photography. It made things move so smoothly the day of. Catherine is also very friendly and sweet and so easy to work with! 2 days prior to our wedding, category 4 Hurricane Michael hit the Florida panhandle. Catherine was calm, positive and incredibly professional and made it there for our big day without hesitation, despite dealing with the aftermath of the hurricane in her personal life. Thank you a million times, Catherine!! You are perfection!!

ariety of angles and styles. She's so fast, and yet she's always checking in with you, making sure you're comfortable, having fun, and that she's getting your good side. We now have over a thousand edited photos from our wedding day, and they are incredible. Truly, you only get one shot at wedding photos. Catherine is the one to trust with capturing your perfect day!

and even would get me a drink at the reception if she saw mine was empty. I can not speak highly enough about Woodland Fields professionalism and talent! I would recommend Woodland Fields to any bride, friend, or family member who ask me. I can not wait to work with her again for all my future photography needs!

aptured our day beautifully and we will never be able to thank her enough for it! I highly recommend her as we can't wait to find an excuse to use her again to take our photos!

d know that they will be amazing. We worked with Catherine for our engagement photos and they turned out better than we could have imagined! She is efficient and knows how to find the perfect spots for photos. She sent us the photos from our wedding reception Photo Booth within a few days of our wedding and they are perfect. We and our guests had such a great time enjoying the Photo Booth and seeing the photos after. We have nothing but positive things to say about Catherine. You will not be disappointed if you work with her!

ographers and I would highly recommend her. I just wish we'd had more time to shoot!

er pictures tell the story of our magical day, and capture that magic they do. When its said and done , when the money is spent, the presents are opened, the guests are gone, and the dress is dirty, all you have left is the photos, so make sure you hire Woodland Fields. They bring memories to life and paint a gorgeous story! Thanks again, Catherine!

hey were all carefully chosen by Catherine. I would describe our pictures as elegant, classic, modern, and fresh. We will treasure the images forever. Thank you Catherine for being such a wonderful part of our day. xoxo, Summer & Austin 8.7.15 Carillon Beach

with our big families and all the 'extra' photos the family members were asking for. She is definitely worth every penny because these pictures will be our memory of our big day forever!

actly how it all happened. It took me about 6 weeks of asking for full shoots from various photographers before I found Catherine. I instantly told my fiance that she was it - no matter what, I had to have her. We were just married last week and I will tell you that from the minute we started working with her - she's been amazing. Communication is fantastic and after years of pinning photos on Pinterest of wedding day "must-haves" - I threw all of those ideas out the window because I knew Catherine had better ideas and she'd capture it all. She's patient, fun and so creative. Our engagement photos were incredible and I can't wait to see our wedding. I truly have no doubt about her - book her...she's worth it :D

it with our guests! We definitely recommend her.

ng about our amazing and very pregnant photographer! We love our photos and the wedding albums turned out beautifully. I was hesitant at first to purchase the albums because of the cost but once we saw the finished product we knew they were worth every penny. Catherine has a fantastic eye for photos and design and I recommend her to every bride!

es of the most special day of her life and Catherine Taylor makes that happen. Catherine’s photographs captured the very essence of our daughter’s wedding. The pictures from the wedding are elegant, classic and creative. Her use of setting and lighting is outstanding and every picture looks like it could have been in Vogue. I would highly recommend Catherine Taylor for your wedding. She is professional, friendly and accommodating.

heir wedding pictures the perfect touch.

phy to anyone!!

e back to the day and those very special moments I never want to forget.

eal with and communicate with! Excited to use her as my family grows!

ain for making us feel comfortable in front of the lens and at ease. Very personable and professional. Highly recommend.

e didn't know where to start, especially since our wedding was a destination wedding. Catherine was the first photographer we met with and after meeting with a few others, it confirmed that she was the best. Catherine is very professional and easy to work with. She has a great eye for anticipating the best picture opportunity and capturing the moment. Marrying into a large family can be challenging when it comes to wedding photos but Catherine was able to handle our large group and keep us on schedule so that we could actually enjoy our reception. We could not be happier with our wedding photos and would recommend Woodland Fields Photography to anyone who values the high standard Catherine produces. Side note- Catherine will travel for a small fee to take your photos.

ountless blogs and websites… then I met Catherine. I knew she had the talent, the patience, and the understanding to make every part of our wedding memorable. I was right on with my gut feeling! Dan and I had our first photo session with Catherine for Engagement Pictures. We were nervous and unsure of ourselves, but about 5 minutes in to the shoot we felt completely at ease and ended up having so much more fun than we could have imagined. Our pictures were breathtaking, more than I could have ever hoped for. I felt like so many of them had a unique perspective and intimate feeling that made them feel personal and artistic at the same time. Our wedding day came soon after, and Catherine and an assistant were there to catch our bridal prep time, the ceremony and reception preparations, and the groomsmen all before the ceremony. (She was very organized, and had sent us worksheets and online surveys as well as meeting with us in person to get a good grasp on our personal style and to get a specific list of people and family we wanted pics with so we didn’t leave anyone out.) She stuck with a strict timeline which helped us flow from one picture location to the next without the worry that we were missing a wedding festivity. We both felt like we didn’t give anything up to get our pictures taken! Catherine and her assistant were professional, understanding, and fun to work with. They had so many good ideas and poses, but it all felt so natural! The end result was a relaxed day, GORGEOUS PICTURES, and a happy happy happy new married couple  We highly recommend Woodland fields Photography to anyone who appreciates good customer service and a bang for your dollar. Certain moments in life happen once, I wouldn’t skimp on the way that they are forever to be preserved!

by all who hire them. I even moved my wedding date to ensure they would be the ones to photograph my big day! From the very first consultation to the actual wedding day, Catherine was easily accessible, professional, accommodating, and courteous. She truly cares for her clients and will go out of her way to make sure everyone is comfortable. Her photography methods produce breathtaking results and she does a fabulous job at directing even the most awkward of subjects (read: ME!). Courtney was the second shooter for my wedding and she was every bit as professional, down-to-earth, and courteous as I would have expected. Even after a slight scheduling snafu on my part and a wedding day timeline that never seemed to pan out, Catherine was always professional and reassuring. She was even a pseudo wedding coordinator, showing me the best way to cut the cake and helping in any way possible. Woodland Fields was easily the best decision I made through the entire wedding planning process and definitely did not disappoint!

mazing. For my wedding, the wedding party and I were supposed to get most of our pictures done before the actual ceremony, but things got a little crazy and we were running behind schedule. Despite the chaos, Woodland Fields made me feel at ease and made the whole experience fun. Catherine worked with me and my husband to overcome the awkwardness of posing for so many pictures and she also made formal family pictures go quickly and smoothly. Most of all, Catherine was more than a photographer - she helped me with my bustle and lent a hand in other small ways throughout the day. If you want THE BEST photographs and THE BEST service, then I highly recommend Woodland Fields.
