Catherine was absolutely amazing! Prior to getting married I didn't consider how much of your wedding day is spent with the photographer -- they are truly with you for every moment. My husband and I couldn't have been happier to spend our big day alongside Catherine! She is incredibly sweet, professional, and she did a fantastic job capturing our day. Her photos are beautiful and we'll cherish them forever. We highly recommend Catherine!

Catherine captured and edited stunning shots of our day and we are so in love with them. We selected Catherine specifically because of her editing style. The photos feel light and airy, but the quality remains crisp. The photos feel timeless. We are both very appreciative of the work you did for us and will cherish the photos forever. The only con is that she did miss our exit which was very disappointing. Approximately one week before our date we called her and paid for an additional hour of service specifically to capture our exit, because we’d rented a vintage Rolls-Royce. We must have miscommunicated because when the time actually came, she was already gone and she missed it. Luckily my MOH stepped in and got photos on an iPhone. The quality of course doesn’t compare. Catherine did refund me half of my additional hour cost & was apologetic. It was just very disappointing and I will always long for the getaway photos, especially because we specifically asked for them. Overall though the day and the wedding was captured beautifully and we have stunning photos to cherish and look back on. I would recommend Catherine to any bride looking for elegant timeless photos. Just be sure to clearly communicate your expectations and check that you’re on the same page, so that there is no chance for a missed moment.

I first stumbled upon Catherine while searching for Boston based wedding photographers on Instagram. John and I were recently engaged and I am a photography enthusiast, so this was a natural first step for me. Her work immediately caught my eye - the colors, composition and overall essence of the people she captured was portrayed in a way that felt authentic to those individuals. I was determined to find someone who could capture our wedding day without the awkward poses and uncomfortable extras that are so often found in today's images. Her work kept popping up and I knew I had to reach out. From our first consultation phone call we knew she was the real deal. She was so relatable, easy to talk to and very friendly. After outlining her process and answering all our questions, we found out she provided more than we had expected. Not only did she shoot in film, she was also willing to provide us with all the negatives from our wedding. This was something that we found very unique in comparison to others we reached out to. On our wedding day, Catherine met all our expectations. She operated like a well oiled machine! She was patient with our families as they congregated a bit slow for family portraits. Always checked to see everyones eyes were open after she took each group shot. She even handled young children like a professional, singing to them to help calm them down during temper tantrums. After the wedding day, she sent us a few sneak peek images she took on her phone - which was so nice of her to do. That got us so excited to see the full album. And when it came, we could not have been happier. The whole family was in awe of the amazing work she did. Our wedding turned out to be a very cold, rainy spring day – but the photos were bright, romantic, and absolutely stunning in every way. She captured everything we wanted our wedding to be and SO much more. I recommend her to absolutely everyone, she is one of a kind!

Catherine was a preferred vendor of our wedding venue, and she was so wonderful to work with throughout our whole wedding process. Leading up to the wedding, she made sure she had a list of every kind of photo we wanted captured and created a plan for the day. Her calm and easy presence the day of the wedding was so appreciated - I felt comfortable that she was capturing everything we wanted - and when she delivered us our photos, they were everything I imagined and more. We had a foggy day and the photos came out so beautifully. Our actual ceremony was indoors and after dark, and she brought her own lighting to help capture the best photos. But the best photos of all were all the unexpected ones - the ones from the dance floor, photos we took in an unexpected cute room in our venue, and all the candid moments. I'm so thankful that Catherine was with us the day of our wedding - she helped captured photos that we will have for the rest of our lives!

This review is LONG overdue, but we couldn't be happier that we chose Catherine and her team to photograph our wedding. We got married back in April at Belle Mer on a day that had 50 mph winds. I was bummed about the weather because I thought we wouldn't be able to take photos outside, but Catherine and her team were determined to make it happen. Because of them, we have the MOST beautiful photos, both outside and inside, of our wedding day. Leading up to the wedding, Catherine was super organized and attentive. We took our engagement photos with her on Crane Beach - we aren't people who like to be in front of a camera and she made us feel incredibly comfortable and like we were taking photos with a friend. We had a call with Catherine a few weeks before the wedding to discuss all the photos we wanted during the day. We got those photos and more and we couldn't have been happier with the results. She even managed to wrangle 4 crazy toddlers to stand still long enough to snap a few shots with them. Catherine is such a talented photographer - you should do yourself a favor and stop reading reviews and book her for your next event!

Our experience working with Catherine was absolutely incredible. Throughout the entire process she was so attentive, punctual and professional. Our wedding day timeline was complicated by Hurricane Dorian hitting the coast shortly before the start of our ceremony. Thanks to her organization and efficiency we were able to get every outdoor photo we had hoped for just prior to the rain rolling in, for which we will be forever grateful. Her work speaks for itself and we had no doubt she would deliver beautiful images but we truly were blown away by how many special moments she captured. I honestly cannot say enough, hire her!

Catherine was so great to work with and I am so happy with how our pictures came out. I can't stop looking at them! Our engagement photos were a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and Catherine gave great direction. With her second shooter on the wedding day they captured all of the important moments of our wedding beautifully. She was also super responsive to email and gave great suggestions on outfits, scheduling, and posing. I 100% recommend using Catherine for your wedding!

Catherine and Josh are an amazing photography duo. Anthony and I met Catherine roughly a year before our wedding day - and he was a typical guy...very unenthused for engagement photos, thinking they would be awkward to capture and so on. But then we met up with Catherine at a beach in my home state of Maine and time flew - she made us both so comfortable and our relationship was captured so well in her photos. Then came our wedding day this past June and I was excited to see her and meet her boyfriend! Catherine and Josh captured our day incredibly well on film - they somehow got amazing photos of us despite the windy first look that continued on to our mountain top ceremony. What I’m trying to say is...CHOOSE CATHERINE FOR YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER. She is so talented and easy to work with - makes you feel like you have a friend with you, with the addition of a few cameras strapped to her, haha!! Couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Hiring Catherine for our photographer was the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding day! Catherine is so talented, so sweet and amazing to work with. Through the entire wedding planning process, from the initial phone call to after the wedding she was always very responsive and understanding, professional and also so much fun! She made us feel comfortable and also confident at the same time. We had a very large bridal party - 25 people! Not only where there a lot of people but a lot of moving around through out the day from the salon to the venue to the church and back to the venue, Catherine and her assistant kept everything in order and was so organized the entire day to make sure she got all of the shots we wanted. Catherine really knows what she is doing and is also so passionate which really shows in her work. All of her photos are breathtaking! I cannot recommend Catherine enough! Stop looking and HIRE HER!

Catherine was simply amazing! From the start she was super responsive and helpful. She is organized, flexible, and very personable, and she loves dogs :) We were excited to bring our pup along for our big day, and they are definitely some of our favorite photos. We can't recommend her enough. From her help with engagement shoot outfit ideas, to her calm presence while battling gloomy weather on our big day, to the quick turn around on our pictures, Catherine was the MVP of our vendors. Her photos really capture all the emotions and special moments of the day, and we are so excited we can always look back to re-live them.

I never realized how intimate the moments spent with your wedding photographer are until the day of my wedding. Catherine was there for every laugh, every tear, every moment. Not only was she able to perfectly capture these moments effortlessly but she felt like part of the family and made all of us feel so at ease and comfortable through ever single minute of her time with us. She is truly an exceptional photographer, but even more so has the ability to help you stay calm and feel confident while she works her craft. Hiring Catherine as our wedding photographer was by far one of the best decisions my husband and I made during our wedding process. Pictures were one of the most important things to us so we knew we needed someone who was going to make our day that much more special. Catherine was professional, but fun and made every single person feel comfortable in front of the camera. I cannot day enough amazing things about her. Having a big family can be difficult to control with pictures but she did it with ease, making sure my family got every picture they wanted. I also loved the fact that some of her pricing options included engagement photos which we took full advantage of.

Since our wedding photographer is based in DC, she recommended Catherine to do our engagement shoot. From the first email Catherine was so responsive and friendly! We really wanted to do our shoot in Cape Cod and she was very accommodating on working with us on location, date and timing. My fiance and I have never had professional photos taken together and she made us feel super comfortable and gave us lots of direction. Catherine even jumped off the boardwalk into the mud to grab my earring that fell off - which was super above and beyond!

Hiring Catherine as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. She was flexible in her packages and let us swap out certain features for others so we had exactly what we wanted. She travelled to the Cape to do our engagement photos, which came out beautifully. She was always responsive and friendly to work with. On the day of the wedding, it was supposed to thunderstorm all day. Our original plan was to do photos outside of our ceremony site, and we didn't have a backup. Catherine stopped at our ceremony site on the way to where we were getting ready and checked out possible photo spots for if it were raining. She really went above and beyond, especially because there were flood warnings that morning. She still arrived on and made everyone feel at ease. Thankfully the rain stopped right when we pulled up to the church and we were able to take great photos outside. Catherine was great at telling our relatives what to do, where to stand, and when to get in and out of the pictures. She got our gallery back to us within a month, which was incredible. All of the photos are amazing. It's like she took everything and made it 10 times prettier. We're so grateful we have her photos to remember our big day by!

We would recommend Catherine as a wedding photographer to anyone! In the months leading up to the wedding, Catherine worked to get to know us and understand the kinds of photos and coverage we wanted. She answered all of our questions and created a package that was within our budget. Throughout the wedding weekend, Catherine and her second photographer captured photos of all the details, guests, and scenery. Additionally, she took time to check in with us to see if there were any specific photos we would like to have taken. We are so pleased with everything she did! We highly recommend her and plan to have Catherine capture other special events in the future.

Catherine was great! We had a last minute engagement shoot and wedding and she was so accommodating with all of it. She was always professional and on time. We were both nervous for our engagement shoot because we had never done a photo shoot before and she made us feel so comfortable. The pictures came out absolutely stunning. Better than I could have ever imagined. She got both sets of photos back to us quickly and fully edited. The online system for the pictures is easy to use and download from. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!

Choosing Catherine as our wedding photographer was by far one of the BEST decisions we made. Along with the venue, photography was the most important thing to us. We had been in communication with over 5 photographers before Catherine, the second we went in to meet her at her studio we knew we had to book with her. She is passionate, enthusiastic, flexible and we could not be happier with our photos! An engagement session was included in her package which we loved because it gave us an opportunity to get used to being in front of the camera and she got to know us ahead of time. She made us feel so comfortable and we knew what to expect for our wedding photos. Our 200 person wedding was in Jackson, NH - not only a 2.5 hour drive from Salem, but it was over 90 degrees out the day of our wedding. Catherine and her second shooter, Josh went above and beyond on every single aspect of our day. She remembered small things I mentioned capturing in passing, they shot amazing candid moments as well as so many individual guest and group photos that we requested to use for our Thank-You cards. Our "first look" spot was unexpectedly crowded, Catherine and Josh found a perfect solution in a very timely manner eliminating any possibility of stress. At one point, she was even putting boutonnieres on the groomsmen after noticing they were missing! They both were non-invasive and very kind but also firm enough to wrangle our massive groups of family and friends to get every single shot we asked for. Our guests and families alike are still raving about them. Having somebody nearby that was so on top of everything resulted in an overall better day for us.

Review: You will not find a better wedding photographer in MA! Catherine was absolutely amazing!! She beautifully captured my wedding from start to finish and was so comfortable and easy to work with. The lighting in all of my photos is absolutely spectacular. She and her assistant Josh were particularly great with my 4 year old flower girls who are notoriously difficult to keep in one place, let alone smiling and happy. The turn around time for the photos was also great - we got them just before our one month anniversary. When I posted some of the photos from Catherine on Facebook, some of the comments I received from friends and family were, "Amazing photos! Your photographer killed."; "Beautiful pictures!!"; "Love them all"; and "Love these pictures. Thanks for sharing." I had read somewhere that you shouldn't hire a photographer shorter than you, I am almost 6 feet tall and my family members are giants, Catherine is a peanut - but whoever said that about short photographers was wrong about her. Simply stunning! Friends have literally asked me if the designer of my dress plans to use the pictures for ads. Could not be happier :)

Catherine is an amazing Photographer! From the very start, she was professional, organized, and enthusiastic. She was absolutely incredible to work with leading up to and on our special day. She has an incredible eye for the "right" shot and all the photos came out perfectly. She captured the feeling of our wedding with such wonderful candid shots. All the photos had such warm and beautiful light (considering it was a winter wedding this is nothing short of a miracle!). She is very responsive and clearly understood what kind of natural pictures we wanted in addition to the standard portraits. She made everyone feel at ease and was very easy to work with. But she also took command of the shots and instructed when necessary which produced better than I could have imagined Pictures. Her 2nd photographer, Josh was also a gem to work with and put everyone totally at ease. They are such a fun pair and have so much energy and passion for their work which clearly comes through in the end results. I couldnt recommend them more!! If you want the best photos ever from your wedding day, hire Catherine!!

We worked with Catherine on our wedding and engagement photos and couldn't have been happier with our experience. Catherine was incredibly responsive and patient throughout the process and got exactly the photos we wanted without making us feel like we spent our whole wedding day posing.
