Hire. Catie. Seriously - don’t walk, run.
Catie photographed our wedding in June - we had to re-plan/un-plan almost every aspect of our wedding due to COVID, and working with Cat...
ie was such a dream. We had a few phone conversations pre the big day to make sure she was aware of what we wanted, timing, etc. On the day of our wedding Catie arrived early, was highly skilled at herding cats (I feel like this - in light of having a pared down, family-only, no wedding coordinator event - was immensely helpful to get our families in the right place at the right time for pictures), and has a keen eye for the right shot. We have received so many compliments on our wedding photos and know we will absolutely be calling upon Catie to photograph all of our big live events.
Thank you, Catie for helping capture our wedding day so perfectly - we will look back on these pictures for years to come!
Catie has been a family friend for years and when I got engaged I just knew that I had to book her for our engagement/wedding photos. We were so happy with how they turned out that...
she has photographed our wedding and subsequent maternity pictures and newborn pictures of our son. Catie has such a passion for what she does and it is shown through her amazing photographs. She has such a calming presence and can make anybody feel relaxed and at ease in front of the camera. We are so happy that Catie has been able to capture so many special times in our lives and cannot wait to book her for more family pictures in the future!
Although it seemed like the day of the wedding took forever to get here, when it finally did arrive it felt like it was over in the blink of an eye! When I received the link fro...
m Catie to my photos, I could not wait to see what she had captured that evening... All I wanted was to see a room full of smiles, happiness, and love! As a photographer, Catie McDade is amazing. Her pictures capture the true beauty of her subjects. As a wedding photographer, she makes the bride feel beautiful, making for glowin...
g pictures. Her manner and way with people is comfortable and reassuring. She makes her clients feel like true friends, and the results are real smiles and amazing pictures. Her photos are breathtakingly beautiful, from the first glance between bride and groom, to the late night dancing. I cannot say enough about her. She makes me want to have another wedding so she can take more pictures.
I can't say enough about Catie! Her skills with a camera are outstanding. She was extremely knowledgable and supportive throughout the whole planning process. On the big day, Catie...
was there early and was able to take pictures of the dress and flowers which left more time for her to take amazing pictures. During the ceremony and reception she was able to capture sweet moments without being obtrusive. The pictures were edited to perfection. I still look at the pictures and I am amazed at how beautiful everything came out. The photos are such an important part of a wedding and I wouldn't want anyone else capturing my memories!
WISH I COULD GIVE 100 STARS!

e bad photo. I've had the pleasure of knowing Catie for awhile but still felt incredibly nervous when it came time to do our save the dates. After two minutes I realized how silly that is. She has a way of making you feel so comfortable that you can truly be yourself and it shows in her work. I cannot possibly recommend her enough and I know working with her is something you will be glad you did!!!

very time I reached out to Catie with a list of questions, she would get back to me right away and never made me feel like a pain. She happily answered every question. We are very happy with our pictures and can't wait to put our first album together with so many great choices. Thank you Catie!!

I couldn’t recommend more highly Catie as a wedding photographer. From our first conversations with her via email, my husband and I had a really good feeling about her. Although we...
got married on Cape Cod, we lived in Australia prior to the wedding, which made planning difficult and slightly unconventional. Catie was so understanding and accommodating, putting us at ease and relieving any stress we had. Catie has the perfect balance of personal and professional qualities that made her such a delight to work with. She was always so kind, warm, generous and approachable, as well as timely in responding to emails, knowledgeable and full of wisdom and advice.
We had the pleasure of doing an engagement photo shoot with Catie in the snow and it was such a wonderful experience. We were surprised how much we enjoyed the photo shoot and how quickly we felt comfortable with Catie. On our wedding day, the surprise rain changed our plans for photos outside. Catie was amazingly calm and reassuring, showing her compassion, professionalism and ability to adapt. The photos of course came out beautifully. Catie perfectly captured so many wonderful memories throughout the day, from posed photos to touching candids and some hilarious dancing.
From the initial planning stages to our wedding day itself and all of our conversations with Catie afterwards, she was the best. We couldn’t imagine the journey and day with anybody else!
