Her communication is on point, she is super accommodative , and is quick to understand what it is the bride and groom are hoping to capture from her photos. Catie will come in with an open mind and make sure that the needs and requests of the bride and groom are met. If you are more hands off when it comes to the photo session, then Catie is not afraid to jump in and provide needed direction when appropriate. She took time to meet with us beforehand to listen and get our ideas, and she also has insight to the flow of weddings and shared different options to help us plan for the wedding day. She captured all different kinds of moments - staged shots, as well as incredible action shots of the ceremony, reception, the getting-ready moments, and she even surprised us with beautiful pictures of the flowers and rings. After the wedding, multiple gusts commented that we had a great photographer! Catie also took our engagement photos and made it such a fun experience even though we were nervous about knowing what to do in the pictures... We did not have to worry because Catie had all of the tricks to get amazing results that looked natural and brought us to a cool outside location.
