Catta Verdera Country Club

If I could give Catta Verdera 10 stars, I would! We signed with Christina after my daughter’s Tahoe wedding had to be canceled several times due to Covid & wildfires. We were nervous, but decided to stay local. It was the very best decision we made! From the very beginning, we were totally impressed with Christina’s and Kenzie’s communication, professionalism, attention to detail, and thoroughness. They really listened to my daughter’s vision and made it a reality. They didn’t let one thing slip through the cracks, and as a mom who really wanted the wedding to be perfect, they certainly did not disappoint. Everything was set up perfectly, the servers were kind and helpful, the bartenders were awesome, and everyone worked so well with our chosen vendors. The grounds are STUNNING , the furnishings high-end, the food was scrumptious, and we have received dozens of comments from our guests that this was the most beautiful and organized wedding they’ve ever attended. I agree with them! As a mom, and because I truly wanted the best for my daughter and son-in-law, it is sometimes hard to let go and trust that others will rise to the occasion and do their jobs at such high level of expectation. As Kenzie said, I needed to “trust the process!” I’m SO glad I did! The staff at Catta Verdera FAR exceeded every expectation I had for the wedding. We were completely blown away at how everything came together so seamlessly and how we could just relax and take in this big day without worry. Thank you, CV, truly… from the bottom of our hearts. We cannot recommend you highly enough!

I honestly could not be any more thankful to Catta Verdera for my amazing wedding last August. With COVID and everything else going on, we had to move our venue and we already had some of our vendors booked. With 2021 and so many other couples moving their wedding, we were so nervous that we wouldn't be able to keep our original date. The venue was so accommodating, extremely helpful and quick with answering our questions, and made us feel so confident with working with them. On the day of the wedding, everything was so smooth. Christina (HUGE shoutout to you!) was so helpful with ensuring everything went as planned, was done to our expectations, and worked extremely well with our wedding planner! I have only amazing things to say about this venue and I can't thank ya'll enough!

I can say so many amazing things about the entire team at Catta Verdera! I used to work as a server at a country club and would set up, work at, and break down weddings. My groom used to be a lead line cook for the same weddings. So we knew the ins and outs of what to expect at a country club wedding, but everyone at Catta Verdera went above and beyond what we could have ever hoped for! They made our entire wedding as stress free as possible and worked so hard to ensure that we all had an amazing time. If I could go back in time and change venues I wouldn’t! The bridal suite was very spacious and my bridal party had a great time getting ready, and our retreat server was AMAZING and I can’t thank her enough. The entire location is beautiful and there are so many places to get amazing pictures. The wedding coordinators were one of a kind and even helped me with my bustle when my bridesmaid was busy with her toddler. Every time someone needed something it seemed like Christina would pull it out of her pocket and save the day. Trust me, as someone who has worked at many weddings, you want to get married at Catta Verdera!

Since the day we booked Catta Verdera as our wedding venue, it has been a "breeze"! The coordinators there made wedding planning super easy and were very helpful and attentive! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and although we were lucky with the weather and had an outdoor ceremony, another reason we selected Catta Verdera was just in case the ceremony had to be moved inside, the indoor room (same as reception) is beautiful. We had our tasting to select appetizers and dinner options and it was so hard to choose because everything was delicious! The bridal retreat room is very open and spacious, perfect for getting ready and hair/makeup! The groom retreat is smaller, but the guys still had plenty of room. Catta Verdera is also very straight forward with pricing and no surprise hidden fees like I had seen when researching other venues. Overall, I would pick Catta Verdera as our wedding venue over and over again!

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Catta Verdera. Not only was the venue absolutely gorgeous, but the staff and accommodations were perfect. Their staff helped us coordinate and ensure the entire wedding process went off without a hitch. They are helpful, kind and experienced!

We had our wedding here in November 2020 and I can't say enough amazing things about Catta Verdera. It was absolutely beautiful and completely exceeded our expectations. Christina was our coordinator and she was so helpful from start to finish. She was friendly, professional, and responsive to all of my questions along the way. Our original date had to be postponed due to Covid but Christina was so accomodating with all of the changes that needed to be made. She truly made our day so special and completely stress free! We provided a lot of our own decorations but Christina and all of the other vendors set everything up so beautifully and better than we imagined it could be. All of the staff at Catta were so friendly and worked hard to give us the wedding of our dreams. And the food was absolutely amazing! Everyone loved it. I would recommend Catta Verdera to anyone for their wedding or large event.

Wow the beauty of Catta Verdera is just breath taking and we were instantly drawn to its beauty but had no idea all that we would gain by booking this venue. Christina and the staff are AMAZING!! They did everything to make our wedding special and it was! We got so many compliments on the food and the service but little does everyone know all that went on behind the scenes. We were in awe of how the day went without any hiccups and you can tell how well everyone worked together. Christina really knows what she's doing! Christina and Abby decorated the ceremony and reception far beyond anything we could have ever imagined. Our wedding was such a special day and it's all thanks to our wonderful vendors! 

Where do I even start?! Catta Verdera was the last stop on our search for a venue and, oh how I wish it was the first. My (now) husband and I immediately knew it was the “one” when we took a tour of the grounds and met the most incredible day of coordinator, Christina. She is MUCH more than a day of coordinator. We planned our wedding from AZ and any questions or concerns we had she was able to answer via email and telephone. We were impressed by the packages and how much was offered at Catta Verdera. Fast forward to the wedding day... literally everything had been taken care of for my husband and I. I was never stressed or even alerted of anything being set up, organized, moved, etc. Christina, Hilary, and the rest of the team we’re ON IT! We have gotten so many compliments from our family and friends that it was the most beautiful venue they had been to. From the greenery shaded pergolas at cocktail hour to the beautiful bridal suite and reception space. Catta Verdera is truly breathtaking. Truly, our one and only complaint was that everyone’s risotto was undercooked and very hard. I thought maybe it was a bad batch but it seems everyone had the same experience with the risotto. The rest of the food was delicious and served wonderfully. Everyone told me before I got married that I would have 6-9 things go wrong the day of my wedding. I can HONESTLY say that my husband and I both commented and agreed that Christina and the entire staff at Catta Verdera truly made our day unforgettable, stress free, and near PERFECT!! If you want an all inclusive type venue that is absolutely stunning, Catta Verdera is your place!

Catta Verdera was an amazing venue. They have a beautiful setting at any time of the year and several spaces for ceremony sites. The staff is what really makes this venue. They take care of everything! In fact, my photographer said that I - the bride - looked "too calm" on my wedding day. This is largely due to the staff who was willing to change our ceremony site only three hours before the event when the weather dried up. They are accommodating, communicative and made sure to make the day about us. I would HIGHLY recommend this site to anyone looking for a venue that is professional, able to coordinate many outside vendors and dedicated to making your wedding day both special and easy.

We are so happy that we chose Catta Verdera! It has gorgeous grounds + Christina and ALL of staff are amazing! They made sure everything went flawlessly and we were very impressed by their customer service. They truly made our wedding day stress free. For the sneak peak of the reception I was literally speechless ...the inside was more beautiful that I could have ever hoped for and it even brought me to tears. I felt like we were in a fairy tale. We highly recommend Catta Verdera to anyone looking for a venue with friendly staff and amazing photo opportunities!

Catta Verdera Catta was the perfect place for our wedding. It was a moderate size event with 75 guests and no bridal party. Although, we did include our 150 lb dog in the ceremony. The Catta team didn't even blink when we asked to include our pooch in the ceremony. Christina and the team at Catta were terrific. They were attentive and available throughout the planning and preparation and all the way through the event. Everyone was so happy and helpful. They even corralled my new husband and I to our sweetheart table to eat as they were transitioning from soup/salad to entrees. The venue is beautiful. The retreats are incredible. Very well equipped and spacious. The food was delicious. The Catta crew made us feel so special. They really took care of everything! In fact, I'd hired a designer which included day of setup, and that turned out to be a waste. Catta was all over it! They even did all the break down and loaded much of it in our car for us! We had a couple of guests get a little over the top and the team at Catta really rolled with it. They didn't skip a beat as they dealt with those that had had too much to drink. They even removed a couple of wedding crashers that joined us late in the evening for some dancing. LOL. All without skipping a beat or letting the smiles slip. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting or a more helpful team. Thank you!

We got married on 3/11/17 at the Catta Verdera Country Club. So happy we decided to get married there. It was a dream. I went to many venues and none of them excited me like Catta Verdera did. When we arrived I thought "this is it." It was so elegant and fancy and that is exactly what I wanted for our wedding. Christina is amazing. She is detailed oriented and on top of everything without being over bearing or annoying. That is what I liked about her most- you knew everything was under control without really noticing she was there. She was so helpful. The retreats are perfect and it is so nice that you do not have to get ready at a hotel. I had 9 bridesmaids, 3 junior bridesmaids, and a huge family and we all fit nicely in the bridal retreat. The girl who worked the retreats was so awesome too. I forgot her name but the boys loved her and so did we. The Ceremony space is perfection and the reception room is breath taking. Not to mention all the beautiful photo ops. The food was amazing. The only thing I would tell a couple getting married here is that if you want more time to dance, choose the buffet. The 5 course meal was so delicious and nice but it took a long time. I recommend couples to get married here- We loved it!!!!!!

What a beautiful venue. My now wife and I got married here in October and we cannot say enough good things about Catta Verdera and their staff. When picking a venue we felt it was important to pick a place that we connected with. We also felt it was important to connect with the people we would be working with. Jim and Christina were fantastic people. We worked mostly with Christina and she was just so amazing throughout the entire process. She explained everything very well, even multiple times if we forgot and was so pleasant the entire time. The bride and groom suites were outstanding! The bridal suite is ENORMOUS and everything a bride could want for getting ready. They had staff on hand to get drinks and food at both suites. The groom’s suite is about just what you would expect, a nice room, not overly sized with a bathroom (no shower) and nice furniture with a nice patio and good places nearby to take photos. They have a beautiful outdoor ceremony area and picturesque landscapes to back it up. We were originally supposed to have an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Our plans changed a few hours before the ceremony was supposed to start due to the forecasted rain. The decision to move the ceremony inside was made and it was beautiful. We never imagined the ceremony inside and no one would have ever guessed that it was not supposed to be that way from the beginning. The way they set up the room you almost wouldn't know that it was also the reception area. Their team did a great job getting everything set up for the ceremony and broken down and ready for the reception. The food was OUTSTANDING. Not even our pickiest guest had anything bad to say. They also worked with us during the planning process to accommodate our guests with food allergies. We had an amazing wedding day, their staff made the rain a non-factor for us and took care of everything. Most people think when something like that happens it's a disaster but both of us felt like everything went on without the notion of a hiccup. If amazing food and flawless landscape is important to you in finding your perfect venue we would highly recommend Catta Verdera.

I love everything about this venue!!! From the booking and planning to the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception everything was so smooth! Everything is included in the price! It's an absolutely breathtaking place! And ALL of the staff made the entire event run seamlessly!!!

We are so thrilled we decided to have our wedding at Catta Verdera Country Club. From the beautiful location to the amazing food and incredible staff, everything was absolutely perfect! After researching wedding venues for over a month (and visiting close to 20!) I finally discovered Catta Verdera. Immediately upon driving through the front gate I knew this was the perfect setting. The ceremony site, cocktail reception area and ballroom were exactly what I was looking for. The pictures of the venue speak for themselves; it is an absolutely breathtaking location! I was also extremely impressed with Catta Verdera’s Event Coordinator, Christina. She is impeccably organized and is fantastic at what she does. She captured every detail we discussed and was an integral reason that our big day went off “without a hitch”. I truly cannot express how thankful I was for everything she did! And finally, the last major component to a wedding venue: food. It was outstanding!! My great aunt (who has been to many nice weddings throughout her lifetime) specifically commented that it was the best wedding food she had ever tasted. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the food was still hot when plated, and the presentation was impeccable. My husband and I are incredibly thankful to the entire Catta Verdera staff and are so pleased with how our wedding turned out. It truly was a fairy tale wedding and every aspect of the day was perfect!

Christina and her team did a wonderful job making sure that everything went as planned on my wedding day! Would definitely recommend this venue! My only complaint was that I felt rushed when it came to taking photos of myself and my groom but, other than that it was all great!!!

We got married at Catta Verdera on June 7th, 2013. Everything about this venue was perfect-- Christina was an awesome planner who helped every step of the way + the day of staff was extremely friendly and helpful; We had to plan from a far since we did not live in the area, so it was nice to know you were in good hands with Christina and the CV staff. They made planning easy and stress-free. The site is gorgeous on its own, but comes to life with your own personal touches. The food was AMAZING--guests cannot stop talking about our wedding and how much they enjoyed it. Everything about the day was perfect.

My husband and I were married at Catta Verdera 4/11. CV has two on site wedding planners at created an amazing space for our wedding, and made the wedding planning process a breeze. They had many ideas and recommendations for other vendors as well if we were stuck on who to choose for a specific service. We LOVED the food, and received so many compliments on how our wedding turned out. I would highly recommend Catta Verdera as a wedding venue, we thought it was a beautiful space and had very professional, courteous an helpful employees.

They were extremely organized, professional and it was a beautiful venue! everything went off without a hitch, they were prepared for everything!

I just had my wedding at catta verdera and would recommend it to ANYONE. They have an on site coordinator who is SO HELPFUL and knowledgable. I was able to stay relaxed throughout the whole wedding planning process and even throughout the whole wedding because I knew Christina (my wedding planner) was in the background working hard to make sure everything went perfectly. And it did! I've heard of coordinators leaving early but Christina was there helping out until we left! She was always coordinating with the dj to make sure everything went smoothly. The outdoor ceremony was absolutely beautiful and my guests commented that this was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever been to! This venue and all that comes with it allowed me to stay relaxed and really ENJOY the day. :)

This place was excellent. Absolutely beautiful for starters, and the staff is so nice and helpful. They never told me "no" I couldn't do something, they were very accomodating and you can use their item (vases, candels, etc.) at no additional charge. The ceremony site is amazing, the bridal walk is about a mile long! The bridal suite is ginormous. The ONLY complaints I have is during our reception, the A/C broke (in July) and it became miserably hot in there which I'm sure caused people to leave earlier than they would have if it hadn't broke. We were not offered any sort of compensation for the inconvenience on our speacial day. The other thing is it is very expensive, but mostly worth it, so can't complain too much. We went with the middle package and that was $110 per person, but that is all inclusive including tax. All in all, great place, glad we got married there.

I had Christina as the day of coordinator and she did a wonderful job! She answered my extensive questions before the wedding though email almost the same day I asked. I had a great experience with them :). Their food was great and they were very accommodating. I would recommend anyone to this location.

After searching and searching for the perfect venue for our April wedding, we stumbled across Catta Verdera. I wasn't sure I wanted to get married at a country club because neither of us golf, but I fell in love with the venue right away. And I never once regretted the decision. The site is beautiful. The ceremony location is tranquil and peaceful and idyllic, and the reception room is just stunning, especially on the wedding night when all the candles are lit. It's just breath-taking. We looked at dozens of places and this was far and away the most beautiful. Our event coordinator, Christina, was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure every detail of the day was absolutely perfect. She met with us several times to make sure we had all the details figured out, answered all my calls and e-maila, and even went so far as to pick up our linens when we had a glitch with the linen delivery. She was incredible and I can't imagine having gone through the wedding chaos without her. The food was fantastic. We chose filet mignon and lobster for our dinner and all the guests raved about it. And the risotto fritters at the appetizer hour were superb. I loved them! I still have dreams about them actually. With only one exception all of the staff at Catta Verdera were friendly, courteous, and bent over backwards to make our day special. From the moment we first got to Catta Verdera for our very first tour we were just blown away by the people. Our only exception was Jim, the food and beverage director. I think he took his job just a little too seriously and bordered on rude and obnoxious. But it seemed like a very small glitch in an otherwise perfect day! The package cost is per-person and EVERYTHING is included in the cost. It works out to be fairly reasonable, as reasonable as anything wedding-related is! And you get so much for your money. Catta Verdera truly makes wedding planning nearly effortless, and the day was a dream come true. We couldn't be happier with our choice!

This was the best decision we ever made. This venue is gorgeous and romantic and has everything you need. The staff was incredible, friendly and knew what needed to be done without us ever asking. They had a list of vendors that have worked at their facility before so it was easy to choose people that knew what needed to be done. The price was amazing considering all the options we received. It was heaven being able to have the retreats to get ready in, having the catering done in house saved us a lot of money. I cannot rave enough about this place! They had the timeline of our wedding down and everything flowed without me or my husband having to ask questions.

I could not have asked for a better venue. Out of everything I planned for my wedding the venue was the only thing that I didn't worry about once. Christina Addiego ,the coordinator, was AMAZING and made the entire process effortless. She returned calls/emails in timely matter and was always pleasant and helpful with my endless questions. The entire wedding ran without any issues because she was there at all times. The staff itself was polite and willing. We had so many compliments on the food and the service. The venue itself... was so beautiful... when we walked into our reception... it far exceeded what I had envisioned!! Everything was so organized and everyone was so nice. The fact that this was the biggest part of our wedding and I never worried once about the quality was a huge load off of my shoulders. You would NOT be disappointed to have your wedding at Catta Verdera.

They are so much more than a place to have your wedding. Brittni and Katie took care of everything and made it so our wedding day was completely stress free. The setting was absolutely amazing during our November wedding and made our wedding photos the envy of others. The reception was a great place for everyone and the food was probably some of the best food we have ever tasted.
