We were also very happy with the personal and family portraits around Chicago - the locations Christine recommended worked perfectly. as their wedding photographer. We are so happy we went this route! Wedding planning amidst a pandemic wasn’t easy & at times felt a bit less celebratory than I envisioned. Christine was great with meeting us virtually, making us feel comfortable, & answering our questions leading up to the big day. For instance, I even leaned on her experience in choosing my bridesmaids dresses… she was helpful all around. Both of us (bride/groom… but mostly groom) have very lively & sometimes crazy, friends/families. Christine & crew did a great job wrangling the herd & getting everything accomplished; all in a very nice manner. Patient, fun & lively were the words I’d describe the crew as, the day of our wedding. Day of went smoothly, including our photos getting ready/around the city/and of course at the wedding ceremony and reception itself. Christine & her team were flexible in terms of staggered start times, as well as having folks at various locations. The week of the wedding we decided to extend our 2nd shooter an additional hour & the team was really easy to work with on that. Kate was our 2nd shooter and she was fabulous as well. With the additional hour added, she was the ‘lead photographer’ for that portion & she did great. Our videographer was Antonin & he did a good job capturing footage as well. You can tell that Christine deeply cares about her business & puts her heart into her work. Just look at her blog & you will see how she takes note of important memories & aspects of clients relationships- and mimics that in her work. Not only is she a great photographer, she is a really great person. We saw her at a friend’s wedding after we booked her, but prior to meeting her in person, and she quickly recognized us/took a photo of us there. Her memory and care stuck out to us & made the experience more special. Tips for you to prep for your wedding day: -Put together a list of which group photos you want to have on your wedding day & outline when the photos are going to take place. -If you have certain items you really want to be photographed (like cake, décor, etc) be sure to note that as well. -The photographers/videographers help a long the day but they aren’t a wedding planner. If you want someone to maintain the schedule/help with other vendors/etc- be sure to schedule a coordinator.

We had never done professional photos and felt awkward in front of the camera, but Christine was able to calm our nerves and get us comfortable shooting. By the end, she felt like a friend. She turned around our sneak peeks in less than a week and the pictures make me cry with happiness! She did a great job capturing who we are as people. We did not have a highly shot list but there were a few meaningful shots I wanted captured and she went out of her way to make sure they were included in our sneak peeks. I absolutely love the more intimate shots they took of my husband and I, but the most pleasant surprise was all the amazing candid shots they took of us and our guests. the wedding was a pleasure - Christine's knowledge really put us at ease. We ended up doing engagement photos and are so glad we did - Christine taught us how to feel comfortable in front of the camera (which we weren't before) and really prepared us for the shoot and our actual wedding day. After getting those beautiful photographs back, we knew we were in great hands! Christine wasn't able to photograph us on our wedding day (shout out Jenn, who was amazing!!), but the way she edited our photographs you would never be able to tell. She so beautifully captures light (and makes darker spaces feel so romantic) - this is really what drew us to her from the start, and what we ended up seeing in our own photos. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the pictures turned out from friends and family - we wouldn't hesitate to hire her again.

The engagement photos were amazing, capturing the intimacies of our facial expressions and gazes, and the wedding photos absolutely blew us away. On the day of the wedding, Christine was just so competent and skillful, and effortlessly blended into the wedding, capturing the biggest and littlest moments of the day without interrupting anything and with, we learned when we saw the photos, incredible artistry. She helped make the whole day stress-free so we could focus on each other and our guests, and the digital photos as well as the albums that we ordered are a source of beauty and joy in looking back on that day that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. If more free-flowing, "journalistic" wedding photography with artistic freedom is your style, book Christine. Simple as that.

Salvatore's, in Chicago. After seeing Christine's attention to detail in her work, talking with her and eventually surviving a global pandemic together, we knew we made the right choice. Christine was so flexible in traveling, professional and quick to answer emails or calls, but what we didn't know was how amazing she would handle the pandemic that ensued 2 months before our wedding. She was involved in every step and put us at ease as we scurried around trying to make that big day (with all Covid-19 mandates and just 10 total people) still happen. Though all of our plans around our wedding day had changed, the photos and video that we will have forever were absolutely beautiful. We cannot thank Christine and her team enough for how fortunate we were to have them a part in making our day so special! We will definitely continue to work with her for future photography needs.

One of the concerns we had was the Friday Hindu temple ceremony but she again knew the ceremonies and rituals so well and she was at the right place at the right time which made the ceremony so much easier for us. She was in the middle of the range that we found for Chicago photographers but her work was well worth top tier pricing. She was able to cover two days of festivities in the budget we gave her.

personally. Christine captured every moment (and then some!) throughout our wedding weekend. She captured intimate details as well as formal portraits. Christine also was extremely flexible the day of the wedding, capturing shots (taking details, extra getting ready shots) as my bridal party ran late. And, we still were able to get all of the pictures that we wanted (and more!). Her website is also wonderful and easy to navigate. You are able to access all of your pictures pretty quickly after the wedding, which was important to us as our grandparents were unable to attend the wedding. I also respected that she was able to give us an estimate on what services we needed for the size of our wedding. I hope that you look into Christine's services! I don't remember seeing her during the ceremony, so I was pleasantly surprised at how many beautiful pictures of the ceremony there were! She was so stealthy! The end product was exactly what I had hoped for. She captured all the important moments and some great candid shots of our guests. I don't know how one person was able to take all those photos, but she did it. The day was documented perfectly: the details, the emotions, the surroundings. Christine made it happen and I would recommend her to anyone!
