Based in Pataskala, Ohio, I serve couples throughout Central and Southeast Ohio with a documentary-inspired approach that combines thoughtful composition with the ability to capture the moments you cannot plan.
Your wedding day will be filled with hundreds of small moments: the nervous excitement before walking down the aisle, the laughter shared with family and friends, the quiet moments between you and your partner, and the celebrations that bring everyone together. My goal is to preserve those moments honestly so that your photographs bring you back to not only how your day looked, but how it felt.
Photography has been part of my life for more than 20 years. Before turning my passion into a profession, I spent 18 years serving in the United States Air Force, where attention to detail, preparation, and adaptability were essential. Those same qualities guide my approach to photography today.
My experience behind the camera extends beyond weddings. I have photographed live performances, festivals, wildlife, landscapes, severe weather events, and fast-moving real-world situations where patience, timing, and the ability to anticipate the unexpected matter. Whether capturing a once-in-a-lifetime expression, a spontaneous laugh, or a fleeting emotional moment, I am always looking for the images that tell the complete story.
I offer wedding collections, engagement sessions, and intimate wedding coverage designed to give couples beautiful, lasting memories of their day. Every couple has a different story, and I believe your photographs should reflect who you are rather than simply follow a template.

Ed Campbell is the owner and photographer behind Photography by Ed. With more than 20 years behind the camera, Ed has photographed everything from live events and wildlife to portraits, landscapes, and once-in-a-lifetime moments.
After retiring from a career in the United States Air Force, Ed turned his lifelong passion for photography into a profession. His experience in high-pressure environments taught him to stay calm, adapt quickly, and capture the moments that cannot be recreated.
Ed’s approach to wedding photography combines thoughtful preparation with a documentary style, focusing on genuine emotions, meaningful details, and the unexpected moments that make every wedding unique. His goal is simple: to create timeless images that allow couples to relive their story for years to come.
