About this vendor
Have you ever been told your vision is too outragous, too unconventional, too… impossible? Us too, but we didn’t listen.
Since we founded ‘Cause We Can Events in 2012, we’ve done it all: from building a three-day festival wedding in the Moab desert with live bands and unlimited food and drinks to hiking with a couple and their 30 guests to a river in Scotland in the pouring rain. We’re more than just a full service wedding planning company. We want to focus on the experience, not just the pretty details.

Gabby was truly OUTSTANDING and played a huge role in making our wedding day feel seamless and completely stress-free. From the early planning stages through the wedding day itself...
, she was incredibly professional, organized, and impressively quick to respond. Every time I reached out with a question or concern (which happened a million times), she provided clear answers that undoubtedly and persistently attested to her knowledge of the wedding industry.
From the very beginning, Gabby was candid and honest when suggesting vendors, offering thoughtful recommendations without ever speaking negatively about others, which we really respected. This made the decision-making process so much easier, especially since we were not from the area and had very little familiarity with the venue or its surroundings. One thing that truly set her apart was that she made herself available for questions and advice from the moment we booked, rather than limiting communication to 30 or 60 days out like many planners do. That access was invaluable. Until you go through the wedding planning process yourself, you don’t realize how many small, random questions come up that are surprisingly difficult to figure out on your own. Take it from me, I initially planned on hiring only a day-of coordinator, but choosing partial planning and having access to Gabby’s wealth of knowledge and resources was a TOTAL game-changer. On top of her professionalism, Gabby is simply wonderful to be around; she was relatable, easy to talk to, and just radiated GREAT energy, which made the day itself even more enjoyable.
Throughout the wedding, Gabby kept us updated so we always knew what was happening without ever having to worry about logistics ourselves. That communication allowed us to stay fully present and enjoy every moment. We also received countless compliments from our guests. So many people mentioned how kind, approachable, and helpful she was, and how smoothly everything ran because of her. Further, when touring the venue and notifying our other vendors that Gabby was our planner, they ALL had the nicest things to say about her which I feel probably says a lot considering the stressful/complicated work these vendors have to iron out together.
Her attention to detail was evident both behind the scenes and on the wedding day. You could truly tell how much she cared about making sure everything unfolded exactly as we had envisioned. She handled every situation with warmth and professionalism, and we felt so, so, so lucky to have her leading the day. We would wholeheartedly recommend Gabby to any couple looking for a planner who is reliable, compassionate, and exceptionally capable.
Gabby from 'Cause We Can Events is the most wonderful, amazing, kind, and helpful person I've ever met. My husband and I hired Gabby for month of coordination for our wedding in Ja...
nuary 2025.
We touched base here and there as needed, met about 3 months out to run through what we'd put together so far, she put us in the direction of making the finishing touches, then we met again about a month out, then two weeks out.
Over this time, Gabby was so helpful with suggestions, vendor help, coordinating schedules, and making sure the plan was perfect!
What we didn't know is that a giant snowstorm would hit the weekend of our wedding. This made it crazy and stressful for all of us, but when I tell you Gabby was the most amazing with handling this... I mean it. She dealt with anything and everything such as rearranging tables due to guests who couldn't attend, helping schedule vendors at a time before or after snow, helping find ways for other vendors to get to the venue because of the snow, and literally everything else under the sun. We feel so blessed to have had Gabby from 'Cause We Can Events as our wedding planner, because I think without her, the entire day could have crumbled.
She is welcoming and loving of all, firm and direct where she needs to be, and so incredibly organized! I would highly recommend her and anyone from the 'Cause We Can Events team for your wedding! And then give her a big hug from me because she's literally my favorite person ever.
Working with Jess from cause we can events was the best decision I’ve ever made. She was SO helpful with every aspect of our day of coordination. She managed rental load in/out and...
handled every hiccup we had a long the way. We had a unique wedding on an island that required lots of coordination and changes due to weather and she handled it with ease! She is friendly, professional and incredibly talented. I would recommend to anyone and she was well worth every penny!
BEST WEDDING VENDOR EVER :)

ommended we work with Gabby at CauseWeCanEvents and spoke very highly of her, so we set up a time to connect. Our first call with her was in 2019 and we instantly felt a connection and that she genuinely cared to get to know us both individually and as a couple. What we didn’t know on that first call is that we would end up rescheduling our October 2020 wedding a full year to November 2021 and would be working with Gabby for much longer than we originally thought. Planning and then re-planning our wedding during the pandemic was challenging for many reasons and we truly could not have done it without Gabby’s empathetic approach who gave us a listening ear whenever needed.
Gabby is so many things that you wish for when working with a wedding planner – she is caring, professional, quick to respond, organized, creative, and just hands down always on top of everything. My wife had many outrageous/extravagant ideas that Gabby never batted an eye at and always looked into implementing as many of them as possible. We were so impressed with her ability to successfully manage the full lifecycle of the wedding planning process from booking and working with vendors, staying on top of ALL the small details, all the way to managing the entire weekend long event with around 120 guests in attendance.
After two years of planning, we walked away with the wedding weekend of our absolute dreams which would not have happened without Gabby/CauseWeCanEvents. If giving 100 stars was an option on here we would give it in a heartbeat!
As a Type-A person, I felt confident I wouldn’t need a coordinator for our wedding. It would be filled with close friends and family who would all be willing to chip in the day of ...
to get things done, and I didn’t want outsiders there changing the atmosphere anyways. As it got closer to the wedding, I heard a wonderful quote: “Your wedding is as special for your friends and family as it is for you. If you don’t take care of things during the day of the wedding, they will spend it taking care of things rather than enjoying/celebrating you in your marriage.” That quote hit home, and I knew it was time to call in help.
Cause We Can Events’ Instagram and website speaks to the beauty of their weddings, but it doesn’t highlight how great they are to work with. From the beginning, Jessica heard the vision we had for our wedding and figured out how to make it happen. I was worried that a coordinator would mean extra expenses as we tried to match the Instagram-perfect wedding, but instead she helped us figure out how to create the wedding that fit within our idea and financial limitations.
Jessica helped us end the party an hour early when everyone was too tired (I swear it wasn’t lame, just a long day), made a good effort to balance handling decisions versus asking our preference, and managed the waiters/set-up excellently. My husband was most amazed when Jessica and her assistant had already made/started passing out coffee when he realized we needed to sober some guests up as they prepared for the bus to the hotel. Cause We Can was fantastic, and I would recommend them to anyone planning a destination wedding!
