photos we’ve ever seen and a 6 minute video with misplaced sound bites and filters over it that we could have done on our phones. We also only received some of the semi decent photos in only black and white which was odd because that was never clarified or requested and we can make photos b&w ourselves, we could never make them color? We ended up asking for the raws which he only gave us access to for 1 week and have to hire a real professional to edit them because they didn’t even offer to rectify the situation. While sifting through the raws it’s truly unbelievable - like the photographer had no idea how to adjust camera settings, center things, not cut someone out or do anything but click a button. We weren’t provided any direction throughout the day whatsoever and we never should have waited 15 minutes while a groomsmen had to go find the photographer at cocktail hour. He hides behind a candid “we blend in” style but we assumed that was the viseo approach only… we don’t know one bride or groom who wouldn’t want posed photos with the most important people in their lives to look back on and cherish and we communicated how important these photos were to us multiple times prior to our wedding. We don’t have one photo with our siblings, not one photo of the bridesmaids ready, not one photo of our wedding party where everyone was directed properly, not one photo with our grandparents and a video we can never fix on our own. We were absolutely robbed and devastated by this, so much so that we are considering doing a mock photoshoot. Half the reason we chose the venue we did was to take photos at the stunning federal building across the street and they just totally butchered our only opportunity. Please save yourself the disappointment (and $3500) and hire someone else.
