Sam was easy to work with and was happy to work with our budget to make sure we were able to get good quality video for a good rate. He worked incredibly well with our photographer and did job of balancing providing direction and standing back to let things unfold. Really happy to have had him capture video for our wedding.

Sam did such a wonderful job on our wedding videography!! Videography wasn’t something we thought of until a week before our wedding, and luckily enough we were able to higher him very last minute and man are we glad we did! He captured the most precious and memorable parts of our big day and now we always have the ability to go back and relive that through the highlight video and by watching our ceremony video! He was very professional and honestly we never even realized he was there; he’s so good at being a fly on a wall and capturing the best footage without disrupting a thing. We would gladly recommend Sam to anyone looking for a wedding videographer!!!

Our videos turned out beautiful and were returned to us quicker than expected. During our wedding, Sam was everywhere we wanted him to be, and his creative outlook made the final videos look amazing. Sam was fantastic, I'm so glad we hired him to be our videographer for our wedding. Not only did I like his previous work posted on his website but the entire process, from start to finish was smooth. He has a detailed questionnaire before the event and takes the time to get to know what you're looking for and your style. We had a little hiccup 5 hours before the wedding which he handled with the upmost professionalism. Sam is very responsive, a hard worker, has beautiful work, and fair prices. I would suggest Sam to any friend of mine.

Sam did such an amazing job with our wedding video! His communication was great from the start and he really took the time and effort to make our video and highlight video fitting and personalized to us. We couldn’t have gone with a better videographer for our special day! Sam is very professional and worked well with our photographer the day of the wedding, even though the two had never met. Even coordinating shots and working seamlessly together without ever getting in each other’s way. He also worked so well in the background, we hardly even noticed his presence, while somehow getting the most personal and beautiful shots. I cannot recommend CDA Films enough! I came across CDA films on the Knot, searching for videographers for my wedding. I reached out to Sam and he quickly replied requesting to speak on the phone. I really appreciated this as I live in San Diego (married in the Bay Area) and Sam (CDA Films) was in San Francisco. It was so nice speaking to him on the phone, listening to his authenticity and genuine appreciation for the field he works in and excitement to film our wedding. Long story short, we booked with CDA Films and come our wedding day, Sam walked into my bridal suite (I had never met him before) and I was caught off guard by how sweet and humble he was. He jumped right in (we booked a 1 shooter 10 hour session) to filming myself and bridesmaids and my husband with his groomsmen getting ready, then on to the remainder of the day. I was very impressed with his coordination with my other vendors (coordinator and photographer) and arriving on time at a hard to find venue (Thomas Fogarty Winery) he had never been to. He arrived promptly on time and was ready to go. He worked well with the photographer, politely asking if he could get a shot here and there. I had no expectations of what a videographer would bring to my wedding day, but I was BLOWN away. If you are on the fence I HIGHLY recommend booking CDA films. He is professional, respectful, professional and understands all the meaningful and important moments to capture. The best part is Sam is not pretentious, and he shoots your wedding personally, almost as if it was his own. He doesn't have boxes to check, he films what comes naturally. We love watching our wedding over and over thanks to CDA Films.
