CDJ Weddings and Events

y had fun and enjoyed the music. The music I remember hearing did meet our style. I really wish I had been able to enjoy it more that night. The only complaint I have that was kinda upsetting for me, was the song I chose to walk down the aisle to. I noticed half way down that I didn't hear what I had chose and I wasn't sure if it was the same song, but just the instrumentals? My husband didn't think it was, but I am not sure. I was told before the reception that there had been a mess up with 1 speaker and that it made us unable to hear the lyrics.. I believe there had also been a glitch during the Recessional.. The song we chose was to start off at the chorus when we kissed, which it did. But while our wedding party was exiting, I had heard the music skip briefly to our 1st dance song, but then quickly back to the Recessional. The only other hiccup was the father/daughter dance. When the music started, it was the song for the mother/son dance. All I had to do was look at Caleb and he quickly realized and corrected this. I will say though that we were not the best clients, the music was one thing that fell at the waist side in planning. We didn't realize initially all the different moments that required music. I didn't realize this until about 2 weeks before the wedding, and then I was scrambling to find other songs. I wasn't very savy with the doc that had been emailed for us to fill out, so Caleb accepted a screenshot of a list I made on my phone of the moments, and the songs for those moments. The day before I sent them, Caleb did advise me (in a nice way) that we are cutting it down to pretty much the last minute for him to put everything together and finalize. But honestly, the only thing I was really upset about was the song for walking down the aisle because that, the father/daughter & mother/son dances were the only 3 songs we had chosen a couple months before because we KNEW we wanted those. So for a long while I had been picturing walking down the aisle to this song. But it is only something I know and will move on from because at the end of the day, I married my best friend and our loved ones had a blast. Especially the kids! I am not saying they are terrible or ruinned my day though, there was probably mistakes made on both sides, but I'm also not a DJ, so I don't understand everything that goes into putting music together for a wedding. My review is more so to remind couples- PICK YOUR MUSIC EARLY, so you have time to look everything over with your DJ because they need that time to make sure everything is seamless.
