For our brides, hair and makeup trials are available out of Charlotte's in-home studio in South Philadelphia, PA (Wednesdays and Thursdays only), ensuring you find a look you are completely satisfied with before your big day. For your wedding day, the team is happy to travel to you, offering on-site services in the comfort of your own home or hotel suite/conference center. Where do I even begin to explain how Charlotte and her team made each of my girls and I feel! They bring such an amazing energy, and you feel you are family when in their company. I have been lucky enough to have Charlotte do my makeup several times since my wedding, and that just goes to show how amazing at her craft she is!

I've had my makeup done 10+ times professionally for previous weddings, as a bridesmaid, and for other special occasions and Charlotte is by far the BEST AND MOST TALENTED MUA in the area. I have now had my makeup done personally by Charlotte 3x and continually find myself leaving her chair feeling the most beautiful I've ever felt time and time again. Her work speaks for itself and she always delivers! Charlotte is equally professional as she is talented. She starts every session by asking her clients what they want to look like and makes your vision come to life by highlighting the best parts of you! She never lets you leave her chair until you feel your absolute best and your make up is completed to perfection. She truly wants you to look and feel your best on your wedding day and will not stop perfecting your look until you are completely satisfied. To help with this, your hair and makeup trial are completed well before your wedding day. Charlotte saves both photos and videos of your hair and makeup styles to reference on your wedding day so your favorite look and wedding vision can be recreated on your wedding day!
Charlotte and the CE Facial Artistry team is by far the best vendor I booked for my wedding. Finding a vendor that offers both hair and makeup services that are of equal caliber for your wedding day is not easy to find. And its even harder to find a full team that is equally as talented from top to bottom. But CE Facial artistry delivers phenomenal quality in both hair and makeup through their team of experts and top-notch hair stylist and makeup artist. I could not have been happier with the product all the members of CE Facial Artistry delivered for both hair and makeup for me and my girl's on my wedding day! I had 13 women get ready with me on my wedding day and they all agreed this was the best hair and makeup experience they ever had as a member of a bridal party. Some previous brides even admitted they wish they had known about Charlotte and her team for their wedding! Each member of the team has incredible talent, amazing energy, is easy to talk to, and will make you feel the best you've ever felt.
The accolades don't stop there. Charlotte and her team are true professionals. The entire team was professional, organized, and efficient. We were able to complete both hair and makeup by 11 am on my wedding day for all 13 women. Leaving PLENTY of time for any touch ups or last minutes changes which is incredibly important on the morning of your wedding. Everyone's hair and makeup last through the entire night and past the after party until 1-2AM. Another important member of the CEFA team is Charlotte's administrate assistant Katie who is a God-send for all things regarding scheduling, timeline, and payments. She keeps everything organized and is available 24/7 for any issues

Let me start by saying these girls are truly the BEST of the best!!!! I can’t empathize enough how special it was working with Charlotte and her amazing team of ladies! Charlotte, Bridget, Maria, Beth, and Savanna were just absolutely lovely! Not only are they organized and professional but these girls make the day feel like it’s a dream. My entire bridal party could not stop raving about how amazing it was working with them. I can not wait to use them again in the future and get to work with these girls again because I already miss them!! My bridal makeup was TOP notch and my hair was the most beautiful that I could have imagined. These girls are truly the best!!!

To say that C.E. facial artistry was amazing is putting it lightly!!! My bridal party loved each and every one of the artists and they left us all looking and feeling so so beautiful! Charlotte is literally the most personable, funny and easy going person to work with I cannot thank her enough for how amazing she made the experience for me. Charlotte and Team CEFA are AMAZING! They truly made my wedding day perfect. I was a little anxious the morning of my wedding but as soon as Charlotte got there, she calmed all my nerves and brought the absolute best vibes! Charlotte and Amanda made us laugh all morning with their stories and it felt so comfortable like we were hanging out with our friends. We all felt SO beautiful and everyone raved all night about how amazing our hair and makeup was! The absolute best decision of my wedding day was hiring Charlotte and her team!! Charlotte is the absolute nicest person inside and out. Charlotte is extremely personable, makes you feel extremely comfortable, and makes sure you look exactly like you want too. Charlotte was not only the nicest person ever but the most organized also! Having Charlotte and Katies organization throughout the entire process made me feel completely at ease. During wedding planning it is hard when you book a vendor in advance and don't hear from them until the week of. Besides how nice and organized they are they truly make every person they touch look and feel their best. Charlotte made me look and feel better than I ever have and my makeup stayed ALL night long!! I'm so glad I'm finally getting around to writing reviews for my amazing wedding vendors! I got married May 21st 2022.
I had the pleasure of being one of Charlotte's clients for several years actually and not just my wedding! Charlotte first did my makeup for my engagement photos back in October of 2020 and I knew then I had fallen in love with her artistry, we just vibed on so many levels and she knew exactly how to do my makeup how I had wanted. She also did my makeup for my birthday in 2021, and for my wedding makeup trial obviously, and for my bridal shower In May 2022. Every single time making me feel like a goddess!
I highly recommend getting your glam on as much as possible before your wedding! She knew my face so well and what i liked by the time my wedding came around! Not that she needed to do my makeup that many times, honestly she could have done it blindfolded and it still would have been the most amazing glam!
She was so knowledgeable on advice and tips on keeping your skin flawless for the big day, sending e-mails with amazing information and her assistant is sooo organized with everything which is such a relief when it comes to wedding planning!
When my big day came, I was SO excited to have her do my makeup because I had so much confidence in her work already. Bridget also absolutely slayed my hair, I went for big hollywood waves/curls with a bridal styles boutique hair piece that did not move the entire night! She did my trial a few months before and gave me so many tips on different hair extensions etc to achieve the hair I wanted! She is a wizard with hair! My hair was so beautiful the day of me wedding! My husband even noted how beautiful my hair and makeup was!
When I tell you my hair looked the same as right when she did it earlier in the morning into the night I mean it! My makeup and hair stayed in place until 12 or 1 AM!!! And it was one of the hottest days of the summer thus far so I was sweating for sure! But my makeup and hair went nowhere and stayed perfect!
C.E. Facial Artistry was honestly MY FAVORITE vendor of my entire wedding team. Makeup and hair is so important for the brides big day, and they just know how to do a top notch job!
Even getting ready in the hotel room they were so fun and jamming along with us to the music!
I also have to mention, after we got married and returned from our honeymoon a few months later, I sadly got pretty sick and needed emergency surgery. And C.E. Facial Artistry found out and sent me and my husband a gift card for food to help out with a really rough situation. I was in tears when I got it in the mail, not only are they amazing at their skill, they are just genuine loving and caring people. Those are the type of people you want on your wedding vendor team!!
I hope one day I will get to use them again for an event, i just love them!
Charlotte was everything and more! She is so sweet, confident, outgoing, and amazing at what she does. At my trial she made sure the look was exactly what I wanted. She constantly asked for feedback to make sure she produced exactly the look I was going for. And let me tell you- Charlotte ROCKED IT. She made me feel beautiful in every way. I felt confident and couldn't wait for my future husband to see me. Charlotte is amazing in every way and I am so happy I was able to meet with her as a person and hired her to help make my day exactly what I dreamed.
Now on to the CE fascial artistry team- what a DREAM TEAM! They were fun and brought a lot of energy at 7am. They made the bridal party look fierce and beautiful at the same time. This team is amazing and I am so happy they were apart of my wedding day!
First thing is first, Charlotte is an amazing person inside & out. She made me feel so comfortable for both my makeup trial & wedding day. We never met before, but Charlotte being the amazing person she is, the first thing she did when she seen me was hug me. This was the best experience I have ever had being that she was asking me do I like this or do you need me to fix anything at all. Usually with any MUA I feel rude telling them I don’t like it but with Charlotte I didn’t although absolutely nothing needed to be fixed being that she is just amazing at what she does. Thank you for everything you & your team have done for my bridesmaids & I. You made us feel on top of the world!
Charlotte and her team are an absolute DREAM!! My girls and I have never felt more beautiful. Their work is absolutely impeccable. I am a perfectionist, so I searched high and wide for the perfect makeup and hair team, and this was it! Not only do these ladies do amazing work, but they are amazing people. Charlotte, Bridget, and Montanna were the dream team. When my mom and I saw ourselves for the first time after Charlotte finished our makeup we had tears in our eyes because we have never looked and felt better. She is without a doubt the most talented MUA I have ever worked with, and the time she spent with me made me feel at ease that everything was going to look absolutely perfect, which it did! They supplied everything! They were timely, great communicators and organized! Friendly and personable making me laugh the whole morning. They had all my bridesmaids timed to the exact minute. They made sure we all felt beautiful and talked us through the process. Everyone’s makeup looked flawless and lasted the whole day!!! It also looked amazing in pictures! After being in weddings where Charlotte, Bridget, and the rest of the team were the hair and make up artists, I was most excited about getting engaged for the fact that I knew I would be having them for hair and make up for my big day. Not only do they do BOMB hair and make up, they kept the girls and I laughing the entire morning. A lot of the times, bridal hair and make up companies spend so much time on the bride that the rest of the bridal party doesn’t the best make up and hair for themselves. Where do I even begin?? Our wedding was postponed because of COVID and Charolette and her team helped rebook us no problem and was absolutely amazing to work with. She (and her entire time) are the sweetest and Charolette is the best hype woman you could ask for!! My trial was amazing which helped my wedding nerves calm down a bit. Which translated to my actual day of. These girls make you feel like a 20/10. They are nothing but sweet and produce exactly what you are looking for. Lori, Destinee, Bridget, and Beth are the most amazing people and honestly made my long time coming wedding dreams come true!!! I worked directly with Lori and Beth and words do not describe how amazing they made me feel!!! Do not hesitate to book these ladies as they are truly the best. Wow, wow, wow....Charlotte and her team exceeded every expectation I've ever had for my wedding day. If you are lucky enough to book this team, it will be the best decision you make for your big day. To begin, Katie will answer every question you can possibly come up with and it was an absolute pleasure corresponding with her. She truly sets the tone for the professionalism, poise, and the pure kindness you can expect from everyone on the CEFA squad. Katie sends you a "Day-Of" schedule that really takes all of the pressure off of you and your girls. I was able to forward the schedule to my whole bridal party, my wedding coordinator, and my photographer so everyone was on the same page from the very start. This was seriously an invaluable tool and something you'll only get with professionals at this level.
Charlotte, where do I even begin?!? Meeting Charlotte was like meeting the human equivalent of a warm hug. I've only had my makeup done professionally a handful of times and she put me at ease before I was even through the threshold of her (STUNNING) home. To call her a wizard is an incredible understatement. I left my trial floating on air and couldn't stop smiling. Every worry I might have had about whether or not my dream look would come together completely evaporated that day. I even requested a few minor changes to my look for the big day and Charlotte executed everything flawlessly.
Bridget can work absolute miracles with hair, and mine looked perfect all the way through our after party! Not only that, but my bridal party had a wide range of hair textures, lengths, etc. and every single girl looked stunning and RAVED about their looks all night!
Most importantly, Charlotte and her team brought an energy to the morning that could not be matched. For any anxious brides out there, do yourself a favor and BOOK THIS TEAM NOW. I had a minor panic attack that morning, and when I tell you that a quick pep talk from Charlotte turned my whole morning around, I say that from the bottom of my heart. I met Charlotte years ago when she did my makeup for my best friends wedding. I knew that if I ever got engaged that I would want her to do my bridal makeup. A few years later I got engaged and Charlotte was one of the first vendors I called, only behind our church and reception location. We were supposed to get married in October 2020 but due the pandemic we postponed and Charlotte was one of the easiest vendors to work with. Charlotte and her team are extremely professional and prompt when answering emails. My trial went amazing and I felt like a goddess. Charlotte truly listens to you and wants to make sure you look and feel beautiful. Did you know Charlotte is your own personal hype woman? The morning of the wedding Charlotte and her team were on time and ready to go. The day of the wedding she brought her artists, Lori and Amanda and just like Charlotte, they were just as personable and friendly. My girls absolutely loved their makeup. I felt like an absolute princess and I have Charlotte to thank for that and will always have a special place in my heart for her.
Best decision I made for my glam squad!!! Charlotte was an absolute pleasure to work with, truly a professional that is incredible at her craft. From the moment I met her at my trial to wedding day, Charlotte felt like family. Her warm personality and ability to make me feel heard every time she did my make up was so comforting. Charlotte, you are perfection. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day! My make up lasted all night long plus a sweaty after party. We had Lori, Amanda, and Mariana assist with my large bridal party- not only did every girl/mom look/feel stunning but we were done on time and stayed on schedule!!!! What meant the most to me, as a bride selecting artists that I want my bridal party to love, was how each artist began make up getting to know the ladies and asking them about their current routine to ensure they felt comfortable. I don’t even know where to start! From the day I met Charlotte 3 years ago, I knew she would be able to do anything! I can be very picky with my makeup as I know a few tricks of the trade, and Charlotte was able to meet every expectation I had. Leaving her talent to the side, she is one of the most sweetest down to earth people I ever met! She really is so genuine!
Onto my hair, I knew from the very beginning that I wanted the classic Hollywood waves. Beth took this concept and blew me away!! I have never seen my hair look more gorgeous! It looked great at my trial and on my wedding day.
The team my bridesmaids had were also unreal! Amanda, Destinee, Bridget, and Alex were all great! They kept the morning so lively and of course made my girls look absolutely gorgeous!! Each one of them is so talented!
I couldn’t recommend Charlotte and her team more! I wish I could get married every weekend just so they could glam me!
Where to start?! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Charlotte has put together the most amazing team of artists, who are not only talented, but incredibly kind. Heather and Beth were my hair and make-up artists, and they were both so much fun, so sweet, and insanely good at what they do! I loved my trial, but on the wedding day the look came together even better than I could have imagined. Lori, Alex and Bridget were phenomenal as well! All of my girls loved their hair and make-up, and we still hear how great everyone looked. The hair and make-up held all night, and we did A LOT of dancing. I can't recommend them enough - if you are looking for hair and make-up for your big day, you can't go wrong with TeamCefa! In addition, the administrative assistant, Katie, is AMAZING! She answered all of my questions, and she and Charlotte were so supportive when I had to reschedule everything due to the pandemic. Hire them now! You won't regret it!

From the moment I met Charolette during my make-up trial, I knew she was a perfect fit into my day. Her energy and drive is so inspiring that it can light up anyone’s day. After my trial I left feeling like a glammed princess and couldn’t wait to see her magic on my wedding day.
On my wedding day not only did her and her team make us feel calm and excited, they made everyone look and feel absolutely beautiful! My mother doesn’t wear makeup and trusted the process, she couldn’t get over how beautiful she felt all day (she is still raving about her day of makeup)!

I had my trial with Charlotte in her home a few months before my wedding and I literally have never felt prettier. She listens to everything you want in makeup and truly deliversssssss! She even did the body makeup on me so I could get the full picture of how I’d look on my wedding day. She totally understood that I wanted a full glam look with contouring, big lashes, and a smokey eye with browns and golds. On my actual wedding day, we had the music blasting and the perfect vibe and she once again BEAT MY FACE! Honestly beyond perfect. I had my trial a year ago, due to the pandemic my original date had to be changed. Not only were they super easy to work with but on the day of they made me look even better than the trial a year prior. The made me and my bridal party look flawless. Even my mom, who never gets her hair and makeup done was raving about how great she looked. It shows in the pictures how talented these girls are, my photographer commented on how they just made his job even easier. Besides being talented, Dominique, Terry, Heather and Bridget are hands down the nicest and caring people. They made me and my girls feel comfortable and just overall gave us such a great experience. I truly can not say enough about how much I adore C.E. Facial Artistry. From the moment I walked out of my trial, I knew these women were going to be a part of my wedding day. Heather and Stephanie are both SO talented-and were so sweet to all of my bridesmaids. That room was full of laughs and love all morning. Charlotte and her team are the very best in the business! I just got married this past weekend, and I can tell you without hesitating they are your go to team for hair and makeup. I found Charlotte while I was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding. I knew then that I wouldn't get married without her and her team. As soon as I was engaged I reached out to her for her availability before picking a venue/date. I am also a COVID wedding, so when we had to postpone last summer, I wouldn't reschedule without making sure she was available. They really are that good! I had11 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, and 2 moms to glam for hair and makeup. Every single one of my girls loved their looks. I personally never felt more beautiful in my life. Charlotte is your ultimate hype girl and is a wizard with a makeup brush. Beth gave me the updo of my dreams and I couldn't have been happier. Since getting married two days ago I've already had several people message me asking about my hair and makeup team for their upcoming weddings! Heather and Melissa made me and my bridesmaids (and my mom) look absolutely STUNNING on my wedding day! We could not have asked for better quality makeup application and kinder makeup artists! Both makeup artists were professional yet were very personable! I would hire anyone on the C.E. Facial Artistry team to do my makeup again!
Heather and Lori are amazing! Heather did my makeup for the trial so I knew everything was going to turn out perfect, but WOW, I never felt so beautiful and special on my wedding day thanks to her. She is a perfectionist! Both heather and Lori are incredibly talented, as well as timely and organized. They brought such fun and relaxed vibes that day, which is just what every bride and her party needs! Highly recommend and will definitely find a reason/event to use them again!
Amazing!!! Heather did my makeup for my wedding two weeks ago and wow! I wanted to do something a little bit different than we had done at the trial and she absolutely nailed it. My makeup looked flawless and stayed put the entire night and I got so many compliments. Even through all the tears and the humidity it still looked amazing before I took it off 12 hours later! Marianna was also fantastic and all of my bridesmaids, my mom and my mother in law looked gorgeous. They both did such a great job of listening to what each girl wanted and everyone absolutely loved their makeup. Not only are they super talented artists, but they’re also both so sweet and professional. You need them for your wedding! Thank you Heather and Marianna!!
Not only did Charlotte make me feel absolutely STUNNING on my wedding day, she also made my time getting ready so fun and enjoyable! There’s not many people I trust to do my makeup (basically no one other than her LOL). She was the first email I sent after we picked our date and the first email I sent when we had to postpone our wedding and pick a new date. She takes her time making sure everything looks flawless and is exactly how you want it. She’s so easy to work with and so fun to talk to. C.E. Facial Artistry was AMAZING from start to finish. Katie gets back to you extremely fast and helped answer every little question, schedule change or detail. My bridal party was in awe of their hair and makeup and the team (Heather and Taylor for makeup and Bridget and Beth for hair) were so welcoming and talented. After my trial I went in a completely different direction with my hair and Bridget executed it flawlessly. She also took my sister's request for a 1950's glam look and far exceeded all of our expectations. Heather was PERFECTION! She is not only extremely talented but makes you feel at ease with what she's doing which was important to me because I rarely wear any makeup. I was nervous that I wouldn't feel like myself with a ton of makeup on...but Heather made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself!
Charlotte and her team are so friendly, knowledgeable and talented. I would recommend them a million times over and hope to have events to go to in the future where I need hair & makeup so I have an excuse to go to them again!
I always said I could go on and on about Charlotte and her team so I will do it here. Right after confirming my wedding date with my venue and church I immediately contacted Charlotte for makeup and Bridget for hair because I honestly couldn’t see anyone else doing it. I followed her IG page for awhile and was always amazed at how beautiful her work was. Inquiring for booking was very easy, Katie her assistant reached back promptly and gave step by step details on how to go through the makeup/hair process. Any questions were immediately answered and a very organized “day of wedding schedule” was given which is awesome for your bridesmaids to have. Charlotte and her team commit to being on time and will not leave the day of till you are ultimately the happiest most beautiful bride! They had no issue when I wanted to add an extra hair stylist. I always knew when payments were due and they sent my wedding day timeline to me early on. I receive so many compliments and am always approached by others wanting to know who my makeup artist is. Charlotte listens to what I want and always makes sure I'm totally happy and feeling confident before I leave. Naturally, I booked CEFA for my Wedding. This was the first time that I worked with hair stylist Bridget. I am very picky with my hair and Bridget was respectful of that. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I couldn't have been happier with the final product. My Mother, Sister, and Grandmother also had hair and makeup done for the Wedding. It was a first time experience for my Grandmother and they made her feel like a Queen. Both Charlotte and Bridget are patient, personable, and added to the overall happiness and excitement of the day. Not to mention, they are prompt, professional, organized, and keep to the agreed upon schedule. THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! Best money I ever spent - you get what you pay for and man, Heather and Bridget are worth every penny! I have never felt so gorgeous in my entire life - my makeup was absolutely flawless and my hair looked like something out of a magazine, even better than the Pinterest photo I showed her. I looked like an actual princess. When Heather showed me my makeup I started to cry, and my mother in law did the same when she saw hers. They were on time, took their time, and got everyone done on schedule. The day went so smoothly and they were so kind throughout the whole process. I would hire them over and over and over again. Charlotte and her team have been nothing but AMAZING! From the trial to the day of wedding hair/makeup, their skill set and personalities are the best! They listen to what you want, talk you through ideas, and then provide an amazing finishing product! Katie, their assistant, is also the most organized person you will ever meet! She provides a detailed/colored coded schedule and constant updates on what is going on. The response time when e-mailing is also within 24-48 hours which is amazing! I highly recommended this group of women any day. They truly made me and my group of girls/family feel and look amazing!!
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! Charlotte and her team are truly amazing and they were wonderful to work with every step of it all. From reaching out and scheduling for our original July 2020 wedding date, to moving to our July 2021 date, to our third postponement to December 2020, to say they were flexible and responsive would be an understatement. Charlotte was so understanding about all of our changes with the way of the world. I already was over the moon excited to have C.E. Facial Artistry glam me up for my wedding, but what made it even more exciting was the seriousness they took towards covid and the safety precautions the team all took. From masks and shields and gloves and aprons, to sanitizing brushes and makeup and using disposable items, waivers, cleaning products, cleanliness and distance, their dedication to making their clients and team feel safe and relaxed was greatly appreciated, they went above and beyond! My trial was such a fun experience, I felt like I had known Charlotte and Bridget forever! Their positive energy and attitude had me feeling amazing about myself before I even got in the chair!
