Cedar & Sage Studios is a professional wedding photography service based in Magnolia, TX. Owners and sisters-in-law Jacqui and Kathryn Brown make it their top priority to snap every special second in a way that truly reflects your style. They hope to create a relaxed environment that allows you and your guests to feel natural in front of the camera. Jacqui and Kathryn established their business together in 2018. Their respective paths up until this point brought them valuable experience and knowledge. Now, alongside one another, this duo maintains a solid reputation for eye-catching imagery. Both Jacqui and Kathryn prefer an unobtrusive approach to their work. Their styles and techniques are described as classically influenced and editorial in appearance. Cedar & Sage Studios is proud to offer their mindfully curated wedding packages to couples. They are also prepared to meet with clients to discuss and design customized collections that cater to particular requirements. Kathryn & Jacqui were amazing. I met Jacqui at an open house event at 15 Acres, and immediately loved their work. Most of my communication was with Jacqui after booking, and she was so easy to talk to and always supportive. When she saw me struggling to balance the day of schedule with everything we wanted/needed to do, she stepped in and created the perfect schedule that allowed us to get all of our photos as well as the down time we needed. Day of Kathryn was just as much on top of it. Helping me with my veil and hair when it didn't turn out exactly how I imagined with the humidity making the curls act up. They are great hype women and will pose you to get that perfect shot, but also caught some great candid moments. The sneak peak photos are already amazing, and I cannot wait to see the rest!

Kathryn and Jacqui deserve more than five stars. They will go above and beyond for you, are so professional and supportive, and produce absolutely stunning photos. They helped take the reins with my wedding day timeline, and were so flexible when there was a change of plans. One major example that stands out to me was on the day of my bridals. My car broke down and left me stranded at the venue. Kathryn and Jacqui did not hesitate to offer to pick me up, or to take me to meet my fiancé. It shows they genuinely care about you and giving you the most amazing wedding experience. I could keep going with a raving review, but you get the point. No doubt I’ll be booking them again in the future!

We booked Cedar & Sage for our intimate wedding at The Vale and could not be happier with our experience! Not only was Jacqui incredibly skilled in taking high quality photos, she was also very helpful when it came to the logistics of the day and overall communication between the different wedding parties. We didn't have the venue for long, but we never felt rushed, overwhelmed, or flustered, thanks, in large part, to her! The photos turned out absolutely stunning and were delivered to us exactly as promised in the expected time frame. A huge thank you to Cedar & Sage for making our day so special, and to anyone out there considering booking them, DO IT! You will not be disappointed.

They are a pair of joyful and creative ladies who went above and beyond to help us capture beautiful moments with my bridals and our wedding portraits. Kathryn and Jacqui made the wedding day so memorable for us. Our families even enjoyed the pictures! If you want someone to organically and intuitively catch all the right moments, all the perfect angles and the tiniest of details, they are the right photographers for you! Love, love, LOVE these ladies! They made our entire wedding experience the absolute best! From the moment we booked them, through our engagement photos, ceremony, reception, and post wedding, they have treated us like family. Our photos were beyond expectations! Kathryn and Jacqui with Cedar and Sage are absolutely amazing! They shot my bridals and wedding day. They really know what they are doing! My husband and I really needed a photographer that was able guide through the processes and they did just that. Both Kathryn and Jacqui were professional and so easy to interact with. Both my bridals and wedding photos came out even better than I imagined! Kathryn and Jacqui captured everything from our small details, to our big moments. These memories will last a lifetime and I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend using Cedar and Sage!

I chose Cedar & Sage for my bridal portraits and I was not disappointed! Kathryn was so professional and did a great job making me feel more comfortable- I don't like taking photos by myself so I really appreciated her effort to make me laugh and loosen up. She was really hands on helping me pose. giving me so many helpful suggestions. The weather was pretty crummy and got in the way of the spots we were planning to shoot, but Kathryn was awesome at finding and staging areas we could use. The photos turned out amazing! I would absolutely recommend Cedar & Sage to any bride!

Wonderful wedding photographers! My fiancé and I had an engagement session with Kathryn. When our original shooting location didn’t work out, she was so accommodating and helpful in getting us somewhere new and getting us fantastic photos! Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a bright, airy feel to their photos!

These women are absolutely, 100% the best photographers I know. They made me feel so comfortable and had so many ideas already picked out so I didn’t have to be stressed on my wedding day. Every picture was edited to perfection and there were to many amazing photos to choose from. They were so kind to my family, my friends, and of course my husband and I and we’re so patient with all of us through our chaotic day. I would recommend them over and over again. ❤️

My bridal photos turned out great. I was able to pick about 10 photos from the shoot that I am absolutely in love with. I was so tired that day and my puppy was being crazy, but she was still able to capture such great images. The samples I received from the wedding pictures were good. So far I liked 3 of them, and can’t wait to see the rest! They did a great job with lighting for both in door and and out and did a good job considering the fact that my husband is light skinned and I’m darker.

Jacqui and Kathryn were amazing! They were very easy to communicate with before, during, and now after the event; showed up early; worked well together and with us; have a great eye for shots; and made it easy. I only have the sneak peaks but they are AMAZING and can't wait for the final product!!
