About this vendor
I'm Daniel of Cedar & Stone Films, a wedding videographer and photographer in Olympic Valley, CA. Based in Tahoe, drawn to the in-between moments, mountain-top vows, and wild love stories. I don't just document your day, I preserve the way it felt.
UNIQUENESS
Creating stories that are unique, authentic, and a reflection of a couple is my goal. Overstaging or posing is not my thing! I want to capture who ya'll are as a couple and your true personalities. I focus on being as candid as I can be and avoiding all the staging and posing that takes away from your special day.
FRIENDSHIP
You're inviting me to be a part of one of the biggest moments of your lives, and I'm so grateful to be able to capture this moment. So! With that, we're required to be best friends (kidding, but not really). Forming a relationship with you is the best thing about what I do, and it's the foundation of how I tell your story.
CREATIVITY
When you trust me to capture your story, you get my creative eye and experience. I am always evolving as a creative to complement the story I'm telling. Your story is original. So, how I capture it needs to be too. I want to capture your story the way you think it should be captured! So I invite collaboration! I want to hear your ideas and your vision for your wedding film.

Hiring Daniel was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we met them, we knew we were in good hands. They made us feel comfortable, listened ...
to what was important to us, and just had such a calming, friendly presence throughout the whole day.
On the wedding day, they somehow managed to be everywhere without ever being intrusive. They caught all the little candid moments we didn’t even realize were happening — real laughs, happy tears, hugs, and quiet in-between moments that we’ll treasure forever.
The photos are stunning. Seriously, we’re obsessed. They captured the day exactly as it felt — full of love, joy, and fun. We’ve had so many friends and family tell us how beautiful and natural everything looks.
We can’t recommend Daniel enough. Not only are they incredibly talented, but they’re also just a genuinely wonderful person to have around on such an important day. Thank you for giving us memories we’ll hold onto for a lifetime.
Absolute pleasure working with Daniel and Ezra! The pictures turned out incredible and they followed through with everything and more we talked about. We would absolutely recommend...
them to anyone looking for a photographer.
Daniel was so professional, very organized, and very knowledge. He helped with wedding planning, gave suggestions, and just was so helpful. His photos were STUNNING. He even drove ...
around and asked many land owners if we could use their field for pictures - truly above and beyond.
Daniel did such an amazing job. He truly does it all, setting up multiple calls beforehand to plan everything and go over every detail. He went above and beyond to make our wedding...
stress-free and captured our day in such a beautiful way. Incredibly professional and truly a special guy. You would be blessed to have him capture your wedding.
Daniel is absolutely amazing. We searched for ages to find a videographer that fit our vision for our wedding and we were so excited when we saw the amazing videos he has created! ...
Daniel not only has true talent in capturing the small moments and putting the whole day together in a video that feels like reliving the moment, but he is also the type of person you want with you on your wedding day. He made us feel like we were all just friends hanging out together, something that we truly appreciated for such an emotionally packed day. Seriously, if you want an incredible video done by a really cool person - book Cedar & Stone films.
Daniel with Cedar & Stone Film is THE BEST. He is unbelievably talented with both photos and film!!! What I loved the most about having him as our photographer and videographer is ...
that he was so seamless and quick with the pictures and video. It truly felt like he we didn’t have to stop our wedding for one minute for pictures, and he still was able to capture everything perfectly!! Not to mention - he captured film and photos entirely by himself (better than most two people could capture)!!! He is also the coolest and kindest dude to have around on your wedding day!! Could not recommend more. Thank you Daniel!!!
Cedar & Stone films was absolutely amazing. Daniel was so much better than we could have ever imagined. The films he produced for us felt exactly how our magical day felt. Not only...
was Daniel an amazing videographer, he communicated so well about where he was going to be, what we needed to do for him to make the process easier, he was just so easy to work with. He made us feel so comfortable and confident. He gave us a little cam-corder for us to capture little moments while we were in the car or when we were separated getting to the venue. Overall I cannot find one thing Daniel could have done better. I wish the best for Cedar & Stone Films and Daniel as a business owner. Thank you so much Daniel for making our special day even more special. And thank you for creating an art piece to help us remember our day for years to come. - the HongKhams
