Cedar Kai

oment. She went above and beyond for us the day of our event. Her Mary Poppins bag of “just in case” supplies ended up helping all our vendors on a VERY windy day at an outdoor venue. Our pictures came back amazing and made all our friends who got married before us jealous of the quality. Months later we still keep getting compliments on how amazing Cedar and Paul were. They truly helped make the day. If we ever need a photographer in the future we know who we are calling! You won’t regret working with her.

red ideas that I had seen on Pinterest and wanted to recreate with my dog! Her vibe/energy was incredibly calming and relaxed on the day of the wedding, and I got so many comments from guests about how much they loved her. She was organized, kind, and gave us the most beautiful photos to remember our day.

ew Cedar was it- and our engagement photos and now wedding photos are incredible. Cedar is organized and detail oriented, but also kind and thoughtful and gives enough direction and guidance but still allows you to do your thing! And also totally to manage and work with our family on the day of our wedding. We received our beautiful sneak peeks from our wedding with very quick turnaround!!! Just book Cedar!

and her prompts made us relax and enjoy getting our picture taken. She also did a great job with our dog, getting him to look at her (not an easy task), and taking some action shots of him and us running on the beach. It rained on our wedding day which threw a major wrench in our first-look plans, but Cedar handled it flawlessly, suggesting a new spot, and the pictures came out perfectly. Cedar and her second shooter (James) were able to capture so many moments, from the groomsmen getting ready, to the bride, bridesmaids, and family getting ready that we feel like we can relive the entire morning of the wedding day. We did our photos before the wedding at our venue and Cedar found so many creative and beautiful shots to take of us and the wedding party. She did a great job working with the weather and timing so that we didn’t feel rushed and were able to take some great photos capturing who we are as a couple and the look we were going for with our venue. Cedar again captured the big moments during the ceremony so well, getting photos from all angles with the help of the second photographer. She blended in seamlessly during our reception and took so many great candid photos from the night. Our dog Moose loved her, and she even drove him to the ceremony! We can’t thank her enough and highly recommend Cedar to any couple looking for a wonderful person and photographer!

received so many compliments on them. She made the day super fun, made us very comfortable, and helped make our special day memorable with the best pictures. We are so happy that we found her and we cannot recommend her enough! You will not regret hiring her to capture your most special memories.

es, and a day of timeline. She made us feel at ease throughout the whole planning process and this continued on our wedding day. We highly recommend hiring Cedar. She will go above and beyond any of your expectations! We can’t thank her enough.

o album, and realized that she had photographed, scene by scene and cut by cut, the story of the day. She even took pictures of the ceremony location as she walked over, such that I had a long shot, a medium shot, and a close-up. I could take my reader on the visual journey we all went on. When I say she “did right by us,” I mean that she heard us when we said what we wanted / didn’t want (I’m the same height as my husband, but I was wearing heels and didn’t want to look taller, so she arranged all photos to effortlessly accommodate that). She also promised not to send us any bad photos (“nobody needs to see that!”), and she lived up to the promise! We were lucky enough to be informed, shortly before our wedding date, that a fellow photographer would be coming along to gain experience (at no cost to us), and all I can say is, GET TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS! Cedar can only be in so many places at one time, and having her angles plus the other photographer’s gave me options when documenting each moment. 10/10 would recommend! Also—I don’t know what she did—but my dress looked even more luminous in the photos than it did in person!

cumented! Cedar is one of the kindest, detail-oriented, fun people we've ever met! We did not do a first look and Cedar was able to get all our family photos and bridal party photos done so quickly that we still had plenty of time to enjoy our cocktail hour. Hiring her was a no-brainer!! 11/10 recommend!

She was kind, professional, and an absolute dream to work with. Everyone keeps talking about how unbelievable our wedding pictures came out. If you're thinking of booking Cedar, please do it!!! I would choose her again a million times over.

ll the details of the wedding day, to having fun with her on the big day, and seeing the unreal gallery of photos she had to give us...Cedar was without a doubt one of the greatest parts of our wedding. We would work with her again in a heartbeat, and absolutely hope and plan to do so :) We can't recommend her enough!

e booked for our wedding had a private beach, and Cedar checked all the boxes with plenty of other beach weddings featured on her Instagram. We wanted to keep the vibe pretty casual and low-key, and Cedar understood perfectly how to guide us throughout the day without any stress at all. We received the photos soon after the wedding, and we are both so happy with them. We would highly recommend booking Cedar for your own wedding!

y came out and will cherish them forever! On top of the actual photos, Cedar was a joy to work with through the whole process. She was kind, card, answered all of our questions and on the day of our wedding she was calm and made us feel special as the couple on our day! I would recommend Cedar over and over again! She is amazing!

g process and a huge help talking through the timeline. Cedar worked wonderfully with our videographer and coordinator; she had a vision for the shots needed but was super flexible when we had a request for a specific photo too. HIRE Cedar Kai Photography for your wedding/engagement/family photos- you will not regret it!!

ollaborated incredibly well with all our other vendors and remained flexible when needed. She was also really respectful of the ceremony space and captured great photos while not being noticeable/taking away from the religious service. We look forward to hiring Cedar again for photography needs down the road.

eeing the larger picture and capturing the feeling of each moment. Cedar is professional yet easygoing - and made the stressful moments of our wedding day feel light and easy!
