Cedric Hardimon - DJ/Officiant

to any changes! Definitely a must for your event!

Incorporated all the fun out of the box ideas we had, without a second thought. I had a few people come up and ask how I found him. He is just spectacular. Also handles children at events amazingly. He is such a gift to have on your special day, what ever it may be!

ts a lot of care into what he does. Cedric met with us about a month or so ahead of time to discuss the plan and go over details. He played music for both our ceremony and reception. My husband and I created a playlist for each part of the evening (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing). Ced did an incredible job mixing the music we wanted to hear at the right times, reading the crowd and really keeping the vibes and energy just right throughout the whole evening. We would 100% recommend him to be the DJ for your event and personally will be looking for another excuse to hire a him as a DJ in the future!

thoughtful suggestions. What really stood out to us was how he balanced his expertise with a genuine respect for our vision—he consistently reminded us that it was our day and encouraged us to do whatever felt right for us. He took the time to truly personalize everything, making sure our preferences and priorities were front and center. It never felt like a one-size-fits-all experience—he really listened and tailored the music and flow to match us as a couple. On the wedding day itself, Cedric was seamless. He was incredibly adaptable and handled any changes on the fly without missing a beat, which made everything feel effortless and stress-free for us. We never had to worry because we knew he had it covered. Overall, Cedric was professional, easy to work with, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. We would recommend him to anyone without hesitation!

h he knew the bride and groom, he had never met me before the wedding — yet he was nothing but kind, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in helping create a meaningful experience for our family. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I was working with him to plan a very special moment for the mother/daughter dance. He was attentive, responsive, and incredibly collaborative every step of the way. What I didn’t know was that he was also quietly working with my daughter to create a beautiful surprise for me during that same dance. He somehow managed to keep this secret from both of us, and when the moment arrived, it was emotional beyond words — something I will cherish for the rest of my life. Cedric put so much time, care, and preparation in long before the wedding day. He is so much more than a DJ who simply shows up and plays music. He listens deeply. He understands what you’re hoping to create. He reads the room, elevates the energy, and makes every moment feel intentional and personal. He is 1000% present, prepared, and professional. If you want someone who will pour his whole heart into your event and make it unforgettable, I highly, highly recommend Cedric. He helped create memories my family will hold close forever.

ings well for us. He did a good job of adjusting the songs we wanted for our first dance and parent songs so they would fade out early. The dance floor opened up and did not empty for the entire two hours it was open. He was so good at adjusting music to what the crowd was feeling. He had a blend of different songs so it really covered all of the age groups of the wedding. Everyone had an absolute blast and I got so many compliments on the DJ. I would definitely hire him again!

he playlist fit the mood perfectly, and he kept people engaged without ever being over the top. Even from just one event, it was clear he’s professional, easygoing, and really knows how to set the right tone. If you’re looking for someone reliable, talented, and fun to work with, Cedric is your man.

hting. Cedric is a great MC and will keep your crowd informed of the evening’s events. He is crowd focused and a crowd pleaser!!   Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed! Great pricing!

personable and highly professional. You could not hire a better DJ.  Thank you Cedric!

of the key songs. There was even a last-minute switch made by the coordinator, and he rolled right along with it. He was kind, funny, and SUPER personable, and allowed our daughter and new SIL to come up with the playlist they preferred, and then filled in the blanks from there. The dance floor was hopping until the moment we closed things down, which ended with a private dance between the bride and groom (it was lovely). We had multiple people specifically ask where we found him, and how to contact him for their own events. Our whole family (and many of our guests) would enthusiastically recommend Cedric for your event!!! ❤️

dric was incredibly flexible and accommodating to last-minute changes, seamlessly adjusting the playlist and flow without missing a beat. One thing that truly stood out was how gracefully he handled some potentially awkward moments during the dances—he made everyone feel comfortable and kept the energy light and fun. His ability to read the room and keep the party going was unmatched. Guests of all ages were raving about how much fun they had on the dance floor, thanks to Cedric’s impeccable song selections and infectious energy. If you’re looking for a DJ who is professional, adaptable, and an absolute joy to work with, Cedric is your guy. He didn’t just play music; he helped create an atmosphere filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend!

making our day special. He took the time to understand our musical tastes and preferences, and he effortlessly curated a playlist that perfectly reflected our personalities and the vibe we wanted for our wedding. On the day of the event, Cedric arrived early to set up and ensure everything was perfect. His equipment was top-notch, and he seamlessly integrated our requests with his own expert choices, creating an atmosphere that kept our guests dancing all night long. Cedric's ability to read the crowd and adjust the music accordingly was truly impressive; he knew exactly when to play high-energy tracks and when to slow it down for those intimate moments. What stood out the most was Cedric's genuine passion for his craft. His energy was infectious, and it was clear that he loves what he does. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the fantastic music and the incredible time they had on the dance floor. Many said it was the best wedding they had ever attended, and we owe a large part of that to Cedric's talent and dedication. Cedric Hardimon exceeded all our expectations and played a significant role in making our wedding day perfect. We can't recommend him highly enough for any event that needs a professional, enthusiastic, and incredibly talented DJ. Thank you, Cedric, for giving us memories we will cherish forever!

e perfect ambiance, both during the ceremony and on the dance floor. He even put up with my demanding guests from abroad! Even though he wasn't familiar with all of our music genres, he was still able to entertain me and my guests perfectly. I am more than happy with his service. Definitely recommend.

veryone was out dancing and having fun and by the end of the night when everyone was leaving he was still there playing music. I would recommend him to anyone that wants to have fun and dance all night

sitive energy to our entire wedding. Weeks before the wedding he confirmed everything we had discussed and confirmed everything for the wedding day. On the actual wedding day, he showed up with his equipment early to set up and ensure everything was working properly. Everything went perfectly and he's a true professional. We would highly recommend Cedric to any couple looking for an officiant or DJ OR both!

ric truly cares that you will be content with the experience and does not try to be the “star” or make it all about himself. He is both humble and enthusiastic. Your day of memories will be treasured forever with him at the helm.
