but our wedding planner had worked with Celadon many times in the past. The owner, Liz, is very friendly and runs the family business out of a large warehouse in Reno. When we walked through her warehouse, we didn't find exactly what we were looking for, but explained that we wanted brown couches, side tables and ottomans to create a lounge effect. She did have some brown couches that were okay, and offered to customize some other pieces (custom upholstering, etc.) to create a cohesive package. While we felt the prices were quite expensive for the quality of furniture, after looking at other options (many from vendors hours away) we realized that this was the best value we could find in the area and come close to staying within budget. Our main challenge working with Liz was her communication. She was very disorganized and had trouble responding to e-mails in a timely manner. The only way we managed to communicate with her was through our wedding planner, who we had more significant issues with. In the end, we created eight "conversation areas" consisting of a couch, side table, and either ottoman or brown bench, had them hang a little bit of swag to cover up the middle of the reception room's ugly ceiling, and put some purple uplighting around the room to bring our color scheme together. We were pleased overall with the layout and look of the room, and our reception was beautiful and the way we envisioned. I imagine that if you are a local of the Reno area you won't face the same challenges we had communicating with Celadon, and you probably won't find a better value in the area as well.
