Celebrant Anna Bacall

Anna’s way with words and passion for love is absolutely superb. She is truly amazing to work with. We had a hard time finding an officiant and emailed many people. Luckily after finding Anna through a referral, we spoke with her on the phone and it just felt right. She was easy to talk to and very organized. Anna was always prompt at responding to emails. She was passionate about it being unique to our own personal taste and gave us a great amount of input in the ceremony, which I thought was awesome. Anna arrived early to both the rehearsal and ceremony. On the day of rehearsal, I was extremely nervous about the ceremony (not a fan of that much attention on me) and she took the time to really listen to me and help me feel more relaxed about having all those eyes on me during the ceremony. We received so many complements about our ceremony and Anna! We couldn’t have been happier with her and HIGHLY recommend her!! She’s truly the best!

Anna was the officiant for my wedding this spring, and was absolutely superb. My (now) husband and I were put at ease the first time we met with her to discuss being our officiant, and we enjoyed working with her very much. She has the most calming voice and demeanor! :) We each had to fill out a detailed questionnaire, separately, to give her background information about us personally and as a couple, and then she custom wrote the ceremony. We were able to revise it an much as we wanted, and she was wonderful about working with us to come up with customized language that suited us- and struck the perfect mix of religious and secular. So many people came up to me and said they loved our ceremony, and spoke so highly of Anna. Although it is easy to get caught up in the details of planning the reception, the ceremony is the most important part of the wedding day, and we feel very fortunate that we found Anna to be a part of it!

My husband and I got married Sunday May 7th at The Villa Grand Ballroom and Anna was our officiant for our wedding. Our ceremony was absolutely amazing from the moment the bridal party walked down the aisle to the moment my husband and I kissed for the first time as a married couple. Anna really made our ceremony unique to our love story and we couldn't have asked for a better officiant. All of our guests told us that our ceremony was by far the best wedding ceremony they have ever been to and this was all due to Anna's hard work, dedication and expertise. Anna and her services are worth every penny that we spent. Her services are by far some of the cheapest we found for all of the time and effort that she puts into making every ceremony unique to the happy couple. My husband and I would highly recommend Anna Bacall to be your officiant for your wedding. If you are looking to have the best wedding ceremony possible then look no further than Anna Bacall.

Never did I think that people would provide so many comments on the Ceremony piece of the wedding. Now, to Tim and I, this was a very important piece (as it’s what the whole party is about). But I have had at least 15 people comment on how beautiful our ceremony was. When I called Anna back in May 2015, I had no idea what to expect. This was my husband’s second marriage and my first, and we both agreed that a church wedding was not what we wanted. I called Anna, and from our first phone call I felt at ease. Anna had a way of talking that would calm any nervous bride (or groom), and I hired her without even meeting face to face. Anna then met with Tim and me to walk through what she could do. She asked a lot of questions about us, and took the time to get to know the two of us individually, but more so as a couple. Then we each were given a questionnaire to fill out individually. Anna also requested pictures of the two of us together. As Tim and I travel quite a bit, I sent her some shots from different locations. She came back and suggested that for the reception, we should name the tables after Tim and my favorite places! What a fun idea. About 3 months before the date, we received the first draft of our ceremony. It was beautiful. It was personalized. It was totally us. After a few rounds of minor changes, we were ready to go. Anna even suggested a very unique unity ceremony involving all of our guests when we talked about how our friends are our family. Fast forward to the rehearsal – Anna was there early and all set to go, and in 45 minutes time, we walked through the ceremony twice. I think what I liked best about this is Anna didn’t spoil the ceremony for the bridal party or our parents, she simply said “and here I will say a few words about Cherish and Tim.” That way, everyone was able to experience the beautiful ceremony together (no sneak peeks). From start to finish Anna demonstrated she was an absolute pro, and you can tell that Anna loves her job and loves weddings. She was able to weave a beautiful brief ceremony that struck a note with our family, friends, and of course with us. Thank you so much Anna!

My wife found Anna through a refferal from a friend's celebrant and we are so glad we found her.  We both wanted a custom ceremony, one that would showcase our relationship.  We viewed the ceremony as our gift to each other, and Anna's hard work made it a beautfiul gift.  Anna is a warm, kind, and thoughtful person.  After meeting with us to get the basics down of our desired ceremony, she had us individually complete couples questionnaires that she then used to build our ceremony.  The result was a beautfiul one of a kind ceremony that was uniquely us and included our guests in the celebration of our love.  Anna took the time to get to know us and it showed in her writing.  She was wonderful to work with revising and adding bits and pieces as they came to us in the final hours leading up the ceremony.  On the rehersal day and actual wedding day she was a fanatic quarterback coordinating with the venue and our DJ to make sure everything went smoothly.  We are so grateful for her expertise, so many of our guests commented on how unique and included they felt and in large part this is from Anna's expert officiating.  

We were so lucky to find Anna Bacall to be the Celebrant for our wedding in June, 2015. As my now husband and I were brainstorming what we wanted for our ceremony, we came across the same term online- a “Celebrant” as opposed to a Justice of the Peace or minister. We quickly discovered this was because a Celebrant was able to make our ceremony unique to us vs. just a cookie cutter speech that everyone has already heard before. We met with Anna after reaching out to her via email and also getting a recommendation from another Celebrant in the area. I immediately felt at ease once we started talking about our ceremony and options we had! Anna NEVER pushed her opinion on us- which was one of my biggest pet peeves and problems with another JP we met with. Anna was in constant contact with us leading up to the wedding. We were able to provide a lot of feedback and edits to the ceremony so you know exactly what you will be hearing on the big day! Anna truly cares about what you want out of the ceremony and wants to make sure you are on the same page. Anna attended our rehearsal and was so professional! She coordinated with my other vendors- specifically with our venue coordinator and our DJ- to make sure they were on the same script. Anna showed up early to both the rehearsal and wedding and I can’t tell you how much that helps ease your stress! Our guests kept commenting on how personal our ceremony was. But more than anything- we loved it! I highly recommend Anna because of her professionalism and ability to write the perfect ceremony!

Anna is wonderful. She will truly work with you to make sure you have the wedding you want. I had a lot of family issues during my planning, and she was so sweet and sensitive to all of that. Our ceremony was fantastic, our guests commented on how nice it was- traditional but still us!

I used Anna Bacall as the celebrant for my wedding in March 2013. She did a lovely job. The ceremony was wonderful. Many of my guests commented on how nice the ceremony was. She is very organized and easy to work with. She is flexible and included us in the planning of all the ceremony details. I highly recommend her as a celebrant.

Anna has a calming reassuring manner that just sets the tone and makes for a seamless, relaxed ceremony. She was great to collaborate with in creating the ceremony. She came with really creative ideas and really made us a one of a kind ceremony that fit us perfectly. It was a dream having Anna as our celebrant. She made our day!

I'm used to the traditional wedding ceremonies and never realized were so many options. Anna helped us create a beautiful ceremony that was personalized to us. She was a great resource and provided many options of ceremony component for us to choose from. When we couldn't use the popular candle lighting component due to open flame restrictions, she suggested the blessing stones ritual which allowed our guests to be part of the ceremony. I received many compliments on Anne personally as well as the beautiful ceremony she helped us create.
