We had a great time dancing for hours! Dave was our DJ for both the ceremony and reception. He played a great mix of music that had so many people dancing throughout the night. We also felt that he did a great job of helping things run smoothly throughout the day (such as inviting guests to dinner, announcing when special dances or speeches were happening, etc.). Overall, we would highly recommend Celebrations (and Dave)!

Look no further! CE is simply amazing. Their communication skills are extraordinary and incredibly professional, yet down to earth. We never felt like we were going to be let down when picking songs, editing songs, and their website made things easy. The team really knows what they are doing as sound professionals. DJ Greg was fantastic and went above and beyond to keep our dance floor full and jammin’! He was a master class MC, and there was not a single hiccup or static issue. We also got their social media booth and a backdrop, it’s a must have! Easy to use, customizable, and as a couple you have the link to access all photos taken that night. Memories for life! We fully recommend CE and DJ Greg!

We highly recommend Celebrations Entertainment and specifically Tristan was AWESOME! He did such a great job as our master of ceremonies and keeping the dance floor full and moving all night. The mix of songs was a perfect reflection of what we wanted for the wedding. Tristan did a great job managing the schedule for the day, from getting guests seated for the ceremony through the grand march and dinner and right into our special dances and the party. The planning process with him flowed really smoothly and gave us confidence that the day was going to go great. Celebrations made us feel taken care of right from the first meeting and we are so happy with our decision to choose them for our wedding day.

Celebrations was great! They were quick with communication. We had Tristan as our DJ, we met with him a few weeks prior with our requests and he did a great job! Day of was so much fun and the dance floor was busy most of the night. He was a great MC and we were lucky to have him!

Celebrations Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Geoffrey was absolutely amazing to work with! From the first meeting, he was so knowledgeable on how to throw an amazing wedding. There were so many insights that he provided that made my life so easy! From reception timeline to checking in with us throughout the day to keeping the party going, he made our day run perfectly. He was readily available for anything and everything we needed leading up to the big day and the day itself. Not only did he coordinate our timeline at the reception to keep us on track, but he also kept the party going all night! I had never been to a wedding that had a full dance floor at 12am. By the end of the night, even the servers joined in on the party and said it was the best wedding that had ever done at our venue. Geoffrey was by far the most professional and sweetest vendor we had! He amazed us and our guests with each aspect of his services. Our day truly would not have been complete without him!

Fernando was our DJ and he was fantastic. He is very personable, professional and kept the party going. Loren the coordinator was responsive and easy to work with. We added on the cold sparks and they were a wow factor and made for some really cool photos. Another great thing is they have an online portal where you can build your own playlist and if they don't have a song in their library they will get it. That was a big plus for us as we had some obscure songs on our playlist. Fernando listened to all of our requests and even mixed two songs together for our first dance. All in all, it was a pleasant transaction and we would recommend Celebrations Entertainment to anyone looking for a wedding DJ.

Geoffrey has been a long time neighbor and friend to our family. His business helped me celebrate my quinceañera many moons ago and my friends and family still remember that as a party of a lifetime. Now it was time to do it all over again for my wedding. Long story short, we had an absolute blast! Geoffrey gave us great ideas throughout the planning stages, fought for us when we had issues with the venue coordinator, and overall made sure we had the best time. Geoffrey is not just a DJ, he makes sure every aspect is going smoothly. He is just overall amazing and we’ll always choose to support Celebrations Entertainment.

If there is one vendor that you should hire, it is Celebrations Entertainment!!! Geoffrey is truly the best of the best. Throughout the planning process, we felt very connected to him and his team and he was extremely prepared for our wedding. He understands how to set the tone and ambiance from the wedding ceremony all the way to the last dance through music, light, and MC-ing. Our guests were complimenting the DINNER music while we were making our rounds, that is how much attention to detail Geoffrey has to making each portion of the wedding so special! And then the reception... a good portion of our guests love to go to music festivals, and they couldn't BELIEVE how amazing Geoffrey was with his song transitions and flow of different music genres. Multiple people came up to us on the dance floor saying it was the best night of their life (!!) and we are still getting messages two weeks after our wedding saying it was the best dance floor they've ever been on. We've had friends and family telling us that their significant other or family member have never danced with them, but they were able to dance together at our wedding because the music and ambiance were that good. My dad and I have never seen my mom dance, and she danced the whole night! Thank you Geoffrey and the Celebrations team for not only making our wedding so perfect and memorable for us, but for also making it so special for our guests as well.

Geoffrey and his team rock! We were most concerned with booking a good DJ, knowing they can really make or break a party. I've never seen our friend group rage and party as hard as I did on our wedding night. Everyone was having a blast and at the end? We received at minimum 45 people telling us how awesome Geoffrey was. We felt extremely comfortable with him, and he made sure the timeline and day went off without a hitch! Our guests said he was so organized, and personable and they loved him. We can't thank him enough!

From working in the event industry for over a decade, I had high expectations for my wedding day and the vendors facilitating it, and I can say confidently that Geoffrey from Celebrations Entertainment was the BEST decision we made when it came to a host/mc/DJ. From the moment of the first consultation to the big day, we truly felt taken care of in every aspect. He is caring, great eye to detail and really knows how to create a fun/positive energy in the room and even better at reading the room to what's needed. He went above and beyond and was key to how smooth the day went and moving our guests effortlessly from one point to the other during the day and evening. He allowed us, unlike other DJs to set what kind of feeling and mood we we wanted and even had a personal profile we created with our top and not to play songs. The biggest compliment though was the crowd loved him and I still get compliments to this day about how amazing he was! He is also LGBTQ friendly, so to my friends in the community, he was a solid 10/10 and even helped us organize a Drag performance we had planned! So, if you are looking for a great DJ, there is no one else I feel can do it like Geoffrey and the Celebrations team. Highly recommend!

My husband and I contracted Celebrations Entertainment to provide DJ services at our 8/20/22 wedding based upon a recommendation by our venue (The Edgewater). We would definitely recommend working with them. The staff at Celebrations were communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was clear to us that they had a lot of experience providing DJ services at weddings. In advance of our wedding, Celebrations gave us a website where we could provide them with all of the information needed to ensure our day was a success (e.g., the day-of timeline, songs we wanted to be played, songs we definitely did not want to be played, etc.). We also met with our DJ (Tristan) a few weeks before the wedding to discuss our general goals for our reception. Tristan did a great job emceeing our reception. From the grand march to the cake cutting to the speeches and parent dances, Tristan kept the crowd engaged. Tristan also did an amazing job of reading the crowd's energy to ensure that our dance floor was busy the whole night. His song choices were great and our guests loved him! Lastly, we rented Celebrations's social media photo booth for our reception and our guests had so much fun taking photos and gifs during the reception. Overall, we loved working with Celebrations Entertainment!

Celebrations Entertainment was an absolute pleasure to work with! We had to reschedule due to Covid, and they were super understanding and accommodating. We loved having Geoffrey as our DJ. Prior to the wedding, he helped to guide us through the planning process which allowed us to nail down the timeline and details of our big day. During our reception, Geoffrey effortlessly entertained guests, provided transitions between events (cake cutting, speeches, etc), got people involved on the dance floor, and overall helped to keep everything on track and running smoothly. We had so many compliments on how friendly and helpful Geoffrey was throughout the night! We absolutely loved Celebrations (and especially Todd) and we are so grateful to them for making our wedding amazing!! Their website laid everything out well and was pretty easy to use. In our meetings leading up to the wedding Todd was very helpful and able to offer suggestions, even when we had no clue what we wanted. During the wedding Todd kept things moving and kept the dancefloor going! Literally it never emptied! The DJ was one of the most important parts for the wedding for us and we can't say enough good things and would highly recommend Celebrations!

We met with multiple DJs but no one came close to Celebrations. We were blown away right from the initial meeting with Geoffrey, he is so passionate about what he does and making each couples wedding the best day. Not only did he provide the music for both our ceremony and reception, he also took the time to help greet guests and to get a better idea of what people wanted to hear for music that evening. Celebrations Entertainment was a true asset to our wedding. They were instrumental in our planning process, helping us construct our timeline. Todd was so great helping make sure all our details were ironed out in the weeks and months leading up to our day. On our wedding, everything was perfect. The sound for our ceremony was crystal clear, the photo booth was a smash hit, and the soundtrack for the reception was perfect! The dance floor was hopping until the end of the very last song. I cannot recommend Celebrations Entertainment ENOUGH to use for your wedding DJ. Not only did Geoffrey basically take charge of making sure everything at my wedding ran smoothly, but he is also an AMAZING DJ! When you book with Celebrations Entertainment, you don't just book someone to show up and play music at your wedding. Geoffery was there the entire time, and really took charge in making sure the whole wedding flowed effortlessly, and the music part was really just his tool for helping your big day start and end without you having to lift a finger to make sure everything is happening when it needs to. Also, you know how most weddings you have to sit and wait for a good song to come on and dance to? And then it finally does, and you dance to it, and then after it ends its back to the chair to wait for another good song? NOT with Celebrations Entertainment. The guests and I COULD NOT GET OFF the dance floor! It was just one good song after the other all night! I don't think I could have found a better DJ than Geoffrey of Celebrations Entertainment.

From our initial meeting with Geoffrey back in March 2020 we felt great about our choice. Todd Olsen was our wedding day DJ and he was extremely prompt in all his responses via email. We meet in person with Todd before the wedding to discuss our music selection and he was so kind and nice and gave us great insight and helpful tips regarding our day of timeline. Day of he was on time, everything was set up and taken down in a timely manor. He made sure the wedding party knew where they were going and did a great job making announcements on the microphone. The sound quality was fantastic. Todd was extremely professional and did a wonderful job making sure our wedding was a really fun party! The majority of our guests spent the whole night on the dance floor and we got so many compliments about the music during our reception. Extremely well done Todd and Celebrations!!!

We worked with Celebrations for our ceremony and our reception. We heard raving reviews from everyone before hand. For our ceremony, everything worked well and the company worked directly with the venue to find the best place for the sound to go which was really nice. The DJ for the reception was fine. Before the party he did help with a lot of the set up and was extraordinarily kind and helpful for our guests. Before the wedding, he emailed with edits to our "special" songs which we didn't love and I asked him to just fade the music out. I don't know that he understood the vibe of the party and we had to specifically request a lot of the songs we wanted to hear. Once we got going it was better, but for the price we paid and for the rave reviews we heard, I was expecting them to be able to read the room better.

What a wonderful place to work with! They listened and embraced exactly what we wanted and need for our outdoor ceremony and reception. Geoffrey was AMAZING, he kept the party going and our guest had the best time!

We spoke with numerous entertainment/DJ vendors trying to find the right match. We were referred to John Sherman with Celebrations Entertainment hearing that he had numerous years of experience and was well-known in the entertainment industry around Madison. John definitely lived up to his reputation. He was very thorough with us, helping us plan from ceremony to reception to the dance and was very professional and fun to work with. He is amazing at coordinating, planning the day out and keeping your event on track. John is very respectful of your wishes and in particular, which songs you would/would not like to be played during a dance. He definitely kept our dance floor packed! Geoffrey with Celebrations goes above and beyond the duties of what you would expect from a wedding DJ! We had our ceremony and reception at the Monona Terrace and he was the music from start to finish of our wedding day. He made sure that all the music for our rooftop ceremony was timed perfectly and the sound quality was excellent! He then provided music for our cocktail hour and dinner and was a perfect MC for announcing the grand march, speeches, and directing everyone to the dance floor once our meal was completed. He was an excellent point of contact and would check in with my husband and I throughout the night. He helped keep our wedding running right on schedule. Geoffrey also knows how to read a crowd well and he kept our dance floor going until the last song! I cannot say enough good things about Geoffrey and Celebrations as a whole!

We had a wonderful experience with Celebrations Entertainment. They were very knowledgeable, helpful and organized. Their online portal makes selecting song choices and relaying your play/do not play list a breeze. Tristan did a GREAT job the whole night. He really read the crowd and played music that everyone loved. We were on the dance floor until the venue kicked us out. Our DJ, Tristan, was absolutely incredible! We had no idea how to plan or what to expect but Tristan made us feel very at ease and helped make the day flow perfectly. We found Celebrations almost by accident but I can't imagine our wedding with any other DJ now. Tristan was a-ma-zing. We would highly (HIGHLY) recommend this vendor! Our wedding was in Milwaukee, but we live in Madison, so it was super convenient for us to have a local vendor who we could meet with in person. We absolutely loved John as our DJ - he was thorough in our meetings before the wedding, and we could text him whenever we had a question. He kept the dance floor crowded all night long, and the music choices were exactly what we wanted. (Their online system is very intuitive and helpful for planning.) They were a little more expensive than other options, but the cost is definitely worth it!

We used Celebrations for our wedding in October 2017. John was our DJ and did a fantastic job. He was so helpful throughout the wedding process and worked with us to ensure we were taken care of for all of our DJ/emcee needs. Perfect Day, Perfect DJ! There are no words to describe how amazing Celebrations Entertainment is. Geoffrey was unbelievable! He is worth every penny - I'd pay double to have him do it again (and I'm cheap). We found out our officiant backed out, so ordained Geoffrey stepped up to the plate and delivered a flawless, beautiful ceremony! We have gotten so much feedback on how beautiful it was that I can't stop smiling. Then Geoffrey made a point to help our guests find their name tags for their seats and guided them to cocktail hour. He made them feel so comfortable. He was on top of everything, from organizing our grand march to grabbing the groom and I b/c the sun was setting and he thought we would love a sunset photo to grabbing us to sign our marriage license. I haven't even talked about the music yet! Everyone at our wedding has told us that our wedding was the best wedding they've been to in a long time due to our DJ! From our parents to our aunts and uncles to cousins, to our millennial friends - everyone loved it! The dance floor was packed the entire time! He was the best part of our wedding. Everything was easy and went smooth. If there were hiccups, he made sure I didn't know about them and he figured everything out. The best, best DJ ever! Thank you thank you thank!

I cannot say enough about our DJ John Sherman! He was our DJ for our winter wedding last month and did a FANTASTIC job. He ran the entire wedding from start to finish including keeping the wedding party on schedule, keeping the guests entertained, and most importantly keeping everyone on the dance floor! One of our top priorities for the wedding was making sure our guests were having a good time and John made sure of that. His music was top notch. The photo booth was a hit and we kept the party going all the way to 12:30AM....all thanks to him. I would highly suggest Celebrations Entertainment (John Sherman) for anyone who wants to have an unforgettable wedding! It is well worth it!!

Tristan at Celebrations did an amazing job with making sure guests knew what was going on during our reception. He met with us a few times to go over the details. Otherwise their online site was a helpful tool to use while planning songs and timeline of the day. We also did the photobooth and additional lighting which were amazing. The only complaint by guests was that there were not enough slow songs so they could take a break from the dance floor! I highly recommend celebrations to anyone!

Tristan was a great DJ for our wedding-very helpful in picking out music, figuring out when to make announcements, following our instructions (refusing some requests we did not want played), and in getting people on the dance floor. Celebrations also set up very nice natural lighting for the event and provided a photo booth and attendant. When we initially went by the office, John Sherman did a great job explaining the different options we could have and what was different about their company from some other vendors. All in all, a great experience!

Tristan Mentz was the BEST DJ/MC EVER! From the first time I contacted Celebrations for more information Tristan was very responsive to questions and along the planning process very helpful and available. Our uplighting and pipe & draping looked very great and completely transformed the look of the room. Tristan helped us with details in planning including the reception timeline, details we needed to still work out with the venue, etc. He even met us to do a trial set up of the room with the pipe & draping and uplighting to ensure it was just perfect. Our wedding was incredibly fun and people enjoyed dancing all night long. We had so many compliments from our guests on how awesome Tristan was and fun the evening was in part because of that!! I would HIGHLY recommend Celebrations and Tristan!!

Our experience with Celebrations was so great. We had a DJ and a photobooth from Celebrations, and our guests had a blast with both. Marcus, our DJ, did a great job with a rather small and very difficult dance crowd. The photobooth was packed all night, and we LOVE the album that guests made with their photos. Planning beforehand was very easy, and everyone we worked with at Celebrations was very helpful and friendly. We've heard so many horror stories about bad DJs (mispronouncing names, playing the wrong songs), and we experienced none of them! Marcus ran the show wonderfully, which allowed us to relax, dance, and enjoy our night!

Let me start by saying that Tristan is an awesome DJ!!! The company in itself is very organized allowing you to pick the special songs you want and hear them online. Tristan was great at making announcements at the right times and not over-doing it, he coordinated with me beforehand for particular songs (and even timed a song after an inappropriate Ludacris feature during the bouquet toss as requested). He did an awesome job getting the right shade of coral for the uplighting and making sure the room was well lit with his suggestions in the number of uplights. He was very attentive to the crowd and kept playing similar songs if they were feeling it. He played a great variety that had our friends dancing with our parents' friends. All in great taste but fun. Very professional and great with answering questions as well as coordinating with the photographer and other vendors for timing. I will recommend these guys to everyone getting married!!!

Celebrations was great to work with! Tristan was our DJ and he was so nice. He came to the venue (~1 hour away) on his own time to be there for our rehearsal. He supplied the music for our ceremony as well as our reception and it was flawless. We were very vague about the type of music we wanted and he picked the very best mix of everything. I would definitely recommend Tristan and the entire Celebrations team.

We had John Sherman from Celebrations as our DJ. He was great! He was great during our meeting and was fabulous the day-of. Everything from cocktail hour to the end of the night went so smoothly thanks to him! We had a TON of guests still on the dance floor at the end of the night! We have gotten a lot of compliments from our guests about how great the music was! I would highly recommend John for any event!

Our goal for the wedding reception was to through a big party, including having fun games and great music. Tristan, our DJ from Celebrations definitely came through on the great music and lights! The company offers an array of lighting options and the photobooth we had as part of our package was a huge hit! They aren't the cheapest option around, but I was much happier with them then most of the DJs I have seen at other weddings.

We have used Celebrations for various charity events and didn't think twice about who to hire for our wedding. Geoffrey and Kacey RAN our day. All of the sound, music, our chocolate fountain (every wedding should have one of these), and photo booth. We were clueless about what music to use for our wedding and they took care of it and made it PERFECT. Geoffrey not only played the role of DJ, he was practically our wedding coordinator giving us advice on everything from video and photography to timing of the day. We are very serious when we say this day was perfect because of Celebrations. Nobody else compares.

When looking for a DJ we originally looked for cheap. As we asked around people kept saying the same name; Celebrations. Everyone said Celebrations. We met with them and they were exactly what we wanted, but much more expensive. We decided to pay the extra money, and we are glad we did. Aaron Jai was phenomenal, and all of our guests agreed. He kept the music going, he played a great selection, and he helped us to get all of our special touches into the night. Despite the price I would definitely recommend people go with Celebrations.

Although we were not impressed with our initial meeting, the service at the wedding was great. All the planning is online so it is very easy to choose songs and stay organized. The DJ did a good job of reading the crowd and keeping the evening on schedule.

Our DJ was great! He brought extra lights to put around our room, which made it look much better. He played a great variety of music that kept people on the dance floor all night. He has a great interactive website to help you give him an idea of music you want to hear and DON"T want to hear. He was fantastic!

Excellent! I couldn't say enough about Geoffrey, our DJ. We had him start right after dinner through the rest of the evening and everyone was dancing right from the start until the end. He can really read his audience and chose tunes accordingly. He provided extra lighting for us for free, so we give him a very nice tip. Very professional, excellent music, wonderful personality.

John Shermann at Celebrations did a most excellent job as Master of Ceremonies. The evening went smooth, he kept us moving and on time. The wedding dance was sooo much fun. The dance floor was packed the whole night. Our friends are still talking about how much fun they had.

Celebrations Entertainment was referred to me by a friend and I couldn't be happier that I took the referral. My number one concern was making sure our guests had a good time -- and our DJ ensured this. The dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night. He played incredible music from all generations. He was fun, personable and seemed like part of our family. Very professional & clearly knew what he was doing. Couldn't be happier with our choice!

Celebrations did a great job with our wedding lighting and pipe/drape. It was a minimal contract, but they still gave us great customer service and did a great job with the decor.

We could not have asked for a better DJ and entertainment experience. Geoffrey was there right on time, he knew exactly how to keep the energy high for the guests, he helped us with the planning when we weren't sure about the order of events (when to cut the cake), he made smart recommendations and helped us throughout the planning process and the day of the ceremony and reception. They were more than other djs in the area, but they were very professional and reliable. Their equipment was up-to-date (no cds--can you believe some djs use cds?!). They were also very helpful and easy when planning long-distance. Their website was also fairly easy to use. They had even been at the reception site before, and offered suggestions for where to put the dj table. Todd was great!

Celebrations, particularly our DJ Tyler, did an awesome job at our wedding! We had them do both the ceremony music (outdoor ceremony) and the reception. They played all the right music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. Tyler read the crowd perfectly at the reception and kept us dancing all night long. We got a number of comments from our guests on how great the DJ was. The other thing I really appreciated was working with Geoffrey on our contract. A lot of the other DJ companies we met with tried to sell us on a lot of extras that we didn't want. Geoffrey simply asked us if we were interested, and when we said no - he dropped it. It was so nice to feel respected that way. I would absolutely recommend Celebrations to a friend!

The DJ and services were great! They met with us for a full timeline plan and have an online service that let's you build your night and add songs you want them to play (or not play!). The DJ was energetic and had a great time himself. They were defintely pricey and didn't do anything so over the top to distinguish themselves.

The photo booth was wonderful and made my wedding really fun. I was disappointed, however, that the DJ announced us as Mr. and Mrs. Crooks (my last name) rather than Mr. and Mrs. Flynn (my husband's name).

We worked with John and he was very nice. I felt a little cut off during our conversations, but he did a good job getting people out on the dance floor. He made announcements that we asked him to and he was very understanding of our play and do not play lists. I do wish that our first dance songs could have been edited the way we wanted them to be, but all in all things went well. We were very happy with the lighting that we were able to get from them as well; it made it look very nice!

We hired Geoffry to be our DJ for our wedding after meeting with serval other DJ's. He has a great personality and very easy to work with. He did an absolute AMAZING job. We felt that we were friends and not just another gig for him. He took the time to meet us and get to know us as a couple. He made our wedding reception one for everyone to remember. Our guest thought he was the greatest and our dance floor was NEVER empty. Looking for a DJ I hightly Recommend meeting with Geoffry first and save your time.

We used Celebrations as our DJ service provider for our wedding in September 2011 and they were fantastic! They were willing to work with us to make any changes up until the last minute and our specific DJ (Michael) was great and playing a nice variety of music! Everyone had a great time dancing and listening to our DJ.

I liked their personality when I met them at a show. I was excited to know that they were going to be someone different at my wedding. But I never did get good responses back when emailing. And then when we were scheduled to have a phone conference to discuss things further. They had to cancel on me for other business. I suppose mine just wasn't good enough. At the day of, I was told they would help set the mood and make things fun but none of that happened. I could very easily had anyone else announce the guests and the speakers and nothing else extra was given. I heard that they are great and can bring fun to the night, but I feel I just didn't get that. I feel it was just lack of communication prior or them taking initiative to plan things prior.

The whole crowd was dancing all night long! From 17 months to 81 years old!

I loved our DJ and everyone else was pleased too. The dance floor was full all night and all ages were out having a good time. Our DJ was very professional and greeted our guests at the door. He made sure everyone was where they needed to be for all the important events throughout the night. He was a pleasure to work with. Our DJ did a great job of making our best man and maid of honor feel comfortable and made sure the mics were ready to go. Many people asked for Celebrations number for other people they knew were getting married. They are a little pricey, but worth every penny!!!!
