ience would be an understatement. While my first meeting with Rene went well, I felt she came across very standoffish and uninterested in doing any work for me. I was disappointed in the selection of materials (cheap) and felt she came across very disorganized, but was out of time to make a vendor switch. Each time I made a change or requested something specific she would not make the changes and it would take multiple emails to get a change completed. In addition, she was incapable of matching my stationary to each other to make it a suite of items and instead kept using different fonts/layouts. Items I made changes too, she failed to make changes and would fail to update her file with the changes resulting in the wrong colors to be used on my envelope insert (didn’t come close to matching the invitation). During the 6 weeks leading up to my wedding, she refused to design any items. Despite sending multiple emails requesting she send over mock-ups, I was chastised claiming she knew what she was doing due to her “30 years of experience”. When she sent over the custom drink designs, I was floored. Despite sending her a photo of a margarita, she sent back an image of a fig boba tea type drink - not even remotely close to what was sent to her. Unfortunately, she delayed ordering or even designing anything until 1 WEEK BEFORE my wedding, sending me into multiple panic attacks – and even went so far as to try to charge me $169 for shipping with one of her “preferred vendors” – despite the fact it was her fault for not ordering on time and waiting until the last minute. My last interaction with her, before I requested my wedding planner handle all communication moving forward, was when Rene sent me all of the wedding stationary for my review. Instead of designing each item like I paid her to do, she sent back examples of what I had originally sent her – trying to claim it as her own design and even going so far as to CHARGING me a design fee for them. I could go on and on as to everything I experienced – She will demand you call her office but refuse to take your phone call, she will charge your credit card despite asking her not to hold it on file and not use it for the final charge – and she will do so without sending any invoices - and is rude when you request one. She will order supplies prior to approval and charge you for them- but they are not yours to keep even if you don’t use them. Overall, my experience with Rene was so horrible, I would not recommend her at all

Upon our first meeting, we instantly fell in love with her style, eye for detail and devotion to her projects. Rene worked with us to produce a beautiful invitation suite and our guests were taken aback by the elegant touch she added to our wedding day. We had guests who thought her work was so beautiful that they didn't want to open the invitation for fear that they would damage it and we are still having people tell us how gorgeous our invitation is several months after the wedding. Rene walked us through the process smoothly and professionally, designing some themes that tied the wedding together with our color palette and floral design. She communicated with us in a timely fashion and was very patient and helpful in getting things just right, even when extra drafts were required. She combines talent and professionalism with warmth and a personal touch. We cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work and highly recommend Celebrations in Paper for any and all of your paper needs!

frame of 1 week to receive an email with a quote and proof of the invitations we picked out. It has been 3 weeks and we still have not received an email, call or any other type of communication concerning our invitations. This is totally unprofessional and low level on their end and not expected considering they have all 5 star reviews. We ended up going with another vendor who delivered us a quote at our 1st meeting and proofs within a week. This may have been a one off thing which is what I am hoping for others sake but they just lost a potential customer.
