Deciding to hire Christine to plan my wedding was the best decision I made during the whole process! I was on the fence about using a wedding planner originally, thinking that my type A personality would be enough to handle everything, but once I talked to Christine, I knew I needed her for my big day! Her energy and passion for her couples and what she does is infectious! It is so obvious that she loves what she does and loves the couples that she is working with. After every meeting with her I was bouncing off the walls with excitement because everything was coming together so perfectly. She also connected us to the most incredible team of vendors! She listened to what our vision for the big day was and recommended several vendors for each category that she was confident would fit with our vibe, and they 100% did! She handled coordinating all the vendors with the venue seamlessly, making everything smooth sailing on our wedding day. On the big day, she was the most calming presence, making sure all the trains were running on time, while also making sure we had time to stop and appreciate all the details and enjoy every moment. She truly went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us! At the end of the night, my husband and I were so sad when we realized our time working with Christine was coming to an end. She was the most delightful presence to have with us during such a special time in our lives. If I can sum it up, with Christine by your side, wedding planning will be a breeze! About 8 weeks before the wedding I was convinced I was dropping the ball on something because people kept asking me how I was handling all the stress of wedding planning, but I wasn’t feeling stressed at all. When told Christine I was worried I was missing something because I wasn’t feeling stressed, she laughed, assured me that everything was on track, and said, “you shouldn’t be stressed, you have me!” She is the best of the best!

Christine was invaluable to us in planning our daughter's wedding! The bride was living out of town at the time and both her father and I work full time. She went above and beyond to help us set up appointments (sometimes at the last minute) with vendors when our daughter could be in town. She gave the bride and groom a variety of choices for vendors without overwhelming them. She had great advice throughout the entire process. She helped us with contracts and made sure we met necessary deadlines. She was exceptional on the day of he wedding! All of the hundreds of details were effortlessly handled from start (9am) to finish (midnight). We were able to simply enjoy!

Honestly, I had never considered a wedding planner. Wow, what a game changer for the mother of the groom. It was worth every penny and more. Christine gracefully helped our family plan the perfect wedding!!! We had to postpone it three times due to the pandemic. Yet, she helped us have the most memorable day ever. It was in our backyard and everyone had an amazing time. I did not have to worry about anything, as Christine did it all!!! I just had to sit back and enjoy the company and the beautiful surroundings. I can not tell you how much we appreciated her services. I highly recommend her for your special day too!!!

It was the best decision to hire Christine! She was amazing and she made the tedious process feel seamless. Christine got us in touch with the best vendors and everyone made our day so special. She made sure all our requests and expectations were taken care of..from food, decorations to even last-minute bridal party changes. We had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID, but Christine took care of everything. It was amazing to have her by my side on the day of the wedding. She helped me like a friend and I really appreciated all her help and support. We are singing her praises to all our friends and family!! She is an amazing person and I am so happy we made the decision to hire her.

At the beginning of wedding planning we were going back and forth on if we needed a wedding planner. It turns out that Christine and her team were the best investment we made throughout the entire wedding planning process!! During the meetings Christine provided immense support, a positive energy, listened to what we envisioned and brought a ton of amazing ideas to the table. She took stress away by coordinating vendor arrivals and making sure the whole day ran smoothly. The next day my husband kept saying “We could not have done that without Christine”- and he’s right! I am so thankful for Christine and her team for making our day more amazing than what I could have ever imagined. If you are on the fence on which coordinator to choose or if you need a coordinator— stop right here and hire Christine because you will absolutely NOT regret it!!! Best in the business

At first I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner. I thought I could do it all based on blog information and Pinterest. I'm SO HAPPY I changed my mind. A friend of mine introduced me to Christine and we hit it off right away. She accommodated my busy schedule as a small business owner. She was open to virtual meetings instead of in person when that worked best for me. At our first meeting with the venue I already had my eyes on- I was wowed. I thought I knew all of the questions to ask... I was wrong, very wrong. In the first meeting with my venue, Christine knew the contract questions to ask to save me money and give me more of the wedding vision I wanted at the budget I wanted to stay in. Her fee was almost entirely covered by the savings her knowledge provided. I negotiate contracts for a living so this was incredibly impressive to me. Also she organized all of the details- the fun ones and the not so fun ones. I hate organization so her massive binder organization system was a life saver. Christine was extremely flexible, patient and sometimes a bit of a therapist. My husband and I tied the knot during the pandemic. Plans had to be changed multiple times. She swung into action to come up with revised plans whenever needed. While I hope that most brides don't go through that- her ability to handle what I imagine would be one of the most stressful situations possible was outstanding and is a valuable skill no matter what the environment may be when it is time for you to plan your wedding. Need a mariachi band? Christine knows who to call. Not sure what florist is best for your budget and vision? Christine knows who to call. Not sure what to say to Aunt Sally who might not RSVP on time? Christine knows what to say. Decide to hire a famous band last minute for your wedding? No problem for Christine. Small hiccups happen the day of your wedding? Christine knows what to do so you never know what happened and your day is executed flawlessly. I don't have enough positive things to say about Christine as a person and as a wedding planner. You're a fool to hire anyone else.

Christine with Celebrations of Love was the BEST wedding investment we made. She has a very soothing personality, extremely organized and an excellent listener. You can tell she is very experienced because she thinks of everything and prepares for things you wouldn't think about. She gave me peace of mind with all aspects of the planning process. She also has excellent relationships with the KC wedding vendors and is very well respected within the industry. She did an amazing job planning our backyard wedding and dealing with all of the covid chaos! Our wedding day was so special and went SO smoothly. Hands down best planner ever! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a stress free, efficient, happy wedding day and planning process!

Christine is absolutely amazing and our wedding day would not have been the day I dreamt of without her! From our first consultation, Christine listened to everything my husband and I had to say and made our dreams come to life! She organized all of our vendors contracts, offering suggestions and guidance throughout the process; she has many vendors that she is familiar with, but she also was open to vendors that my husband and I had in mind. She was there for us through the entire process of having to reschedule our wedding due to COVID (including many emotional calls); she actually reached out to ALL of our vendors and had them rescheduled for our new date within hours it seemed! Even though we took up several more months of her time with the postponement, she continued to show enthusiasm and excitement, reassuring us she would be with us through the end until we got our dream wedding! As new as the pandemic process was for her, she never skipped a beat! On our wedding day, Christine continued to show her worth! She was there from start to finish, setting up our venue for the ceremony, flipping our space for the reception, and keeping our timeline perfectly; I truly believe she is the reason our families, friends, and my husband and I were able to fully enjoy the event, instead of stressing and rushing around all day. She is simply amazing, enough said! I would do our wedding over and over again if you could promise me that Christine would be with us throughout the process again!

Christine was amazing!!! She was SO organized and communicates so well with the vendors. She took the stress out of contacting each vendor leading up to the big day making sure everyone was on the same page. I knew that if Christine was at my reception, it would go smoothly and I would have nothing to worry about! She was so helpful throughout the whole process (especially with our forever changing plans with COVID) and I will forever be grateful for her during this time! She took on many roles during our reception, making herself available for guests to ask her questions about seating, was there with me for every need I had that night, and even finding a solution for a mishap we had with the seating chart..we would have had never known if she had she not told us later!! Thank you Christine!! I would recommend Celebrations of Love to any bride! It makes the day go that much smoother for the bride + the mother of the bride!

I am SO happy we booked Christine at the beginning of our wedding planning process! She was with us every step of the way and responded to our many emails very promptly. She is organized, professional and is a very positive presence. With the many unknowns with Covid-19…we could not have done it without her. She took charge and took over communication with all our vendors which we will forever be grateful for taking some of that stress off! We ended up having a small ceremony and she was there for everything we needed the day of and can't wait for her to be there again for our big reception in October! She wanted us to be worry free on the big day and we truly were. I would recommend to any bride to book Celebrations of Love for their big day!

WOW! I’m not even sure where to begin because everything about working with Christine was the absolute BEST. I knew from the moment we sat down for our first meeting that she was the perfect individual to be, as we dubbed it, my “helpful human.” My only regret is that I wish I had found her sooner--- and legitimately I am so sad that the planning phase is over, because it means e-mailing Christine is no longer a part of my routine. If there is any doubt about if adding Christine (and her truly INCREDIBLE team) is worth it, IT IS. If you’re looking for a sign this is it. The big day was literally a blissful bubble, the Celebrations of Love team did a flawless job. Best decision we made. If my endless rant about how wonderful they are didn’t convince you know this: Christine and everyone with Celebrations of Love will help take the wedding planning process and the big day and make everything about 10,000x less stressful and run 10,000x smoother. I don’t know what I would have done without her.

Christine is INVALUABLE. As the bride, I would recommend the full package over and over again – it’s worth EVERY penny! From the day we met Christine, we knew she would fit right in with our family and friends. She is so organized and helps you every step of the way. She truly made our dream come true, regardless of how complicated or convoluted our ideas were. She is always happy, outgoing, and never thinks any wedding dream is “too much”. She is honest and has the BEST advice. She makes the months leading up to a wedding stress free. She is on top of all vendors and does all of the communication and behind the scenes work. Our wedding was at Mildale Farm and she knew all the “ins and outs” of the venue. She had a clear vision of what was necessary at our venue to make our day perfect. Her work is FLAWLESS on the day of the wedding. She takes the time to introduce herself and meet all family and friends. My bridesmaids were AMAZED at how efficient and organized Christine and her team were. ANYTHING we needed, she had in her bag. We kept calling her our “Mary Poppins”. One of my bridesmaids said: “I wish I got her for my wedding”. She was quick to act on suit mishaps for the groomsmen and ushers and fixed the problem without skipping a beat. Any last-minute alteration/hemming, she’s got it! Christine and her team is the ONLY reason our wedding turned out so beautiful and flowed so well. I cannot imagine our wedding without her. She truly blended in and we can comfortably say she was a part of our family that day. Words cannot describe how wonderful Christine is, her work is phenomenal!!!

Christine is the expert you want by your side on one of the greatest day of your lives! She makes it seamless and worry free!! I used her as a partial planner since I had most of the big ticket items booked already, but when it came to all the small details (of which I had no idea about) she was there to guide me every step of the way. She was so knowledgeable and I knew I could trust her with everything. She kept the show running in a polite way but everyone respected her, as well, along the way. My mom was very stressed about the day of and because of Christine she was able to relax and enjoy the day - she called her our Mary Poppins! I used to say that all that mattered at a wedding was great music and booze, but now that number one spot goes to Christine!! Without her I know it wouldn’t have been the perfect day I loved!!!

To all Fathers of the Bride: Hiring Christine was be best decision we made for our daughter's wedding. She made the process look easy. She was the experienced professional we needed to get through the enormous amount of work involved in the proper sequence. Her presence made it easy for my wife and daughter to relax and enjoy the day! And she has a real gift to keeping the father of the bride in just the right frame of mind!

As many of the reviews state - Christine is the best in the business! She planned my sister's wedding, my best friend's wedding, and my wedding. She is professional, positive, detail-oriented, and handles conflict like no other. I really felt her value shines during the month leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding! You and your family will not have to worry about anything the day of the wedding - Christine will take care of it all. From keeping everything on schedule to all vendor communication, I only had to focus on enjoying our wedding day. The only hiccup we had - I was a little panicky when we ran out of time during family photos before the ceremony but Christine calmed my nerves and made sure right after the ceremony we had gotten every single photo listed on my family photo spreadsheet. Everything else went as smooth as could be. Thank you Christine for making our wedding day run smoothly and the wedding planning process fun! It was truly the best day ever and we have you to thank!

I was unable to take advantage of Christine’s full planning package but I did meet with her for an awesome “Coffee Date” early in the planning process, as well as one of her Q&A sessions and it was amazing! She helped me set a timeline for our day and decide what was most important to my fiancé & I so that I was able to prioritize my next steps and make our day fully “us”. All of our vendors were so impressed with my organization & I owe it all to Christine’s guidance and passion!

Weddings are a very joyous time but can also be a very stressful event. Christine truly is the best wedding planner around. She is so organized and put our minds at ease throughout the entire process. We planned our wedding in 8 months and we couldn't have done it without her. Her attention to detail, professionalism with all of our vendors, explaining the process, everything was the best of the best. I would recommend her to anyone. I knew after watching my Mom at my wedding 25 years ago that I needed a wedding planner so I could relax and enjoy my daughter's wedding day. I knew Christine was the one to help us when she understood that as well. Taking a wedding to the next level is what I would say is Christine's talent. She took my daughter's vision and then suggested so many little details to make it happen. She wanted it to be my daughter and her fiance's day and when people attended they would see them in the details. She definitely made that happen by introducing us to amazing vendors and her expertise. Christine is a genuinely wonderful person. She is punctual, professional and a great resource and sounding board when you are in the thick of planning. Choosing Celebrations of Love to plan our rehearsal dinner and weekend of our wedding was an amazing decision. Christine truly has found her calling in the wedding planning business as she thinks of so many details, big and small, that made our wedding weekend even more special. She takes the vision of whatever we were thinking and brought it to life with her vast amount of experience in all types of weddings. I cannot recommend her more highly to any couple looking for a fun, energetic and truly genuine person to help plan their wedding.

I’m truly sad writing this because it means not only is the most amazing day ever over, but I will no longer have meetings with Christine. Christine truly brought our day to a new level and made it flawless. She is always so happy and willing to help. I wasn’t living in KC so she literally made everything happen; and her timelines were so helpful to keep the details in order and on time. I always felt like she was our biggest supporter and would fight for us and what we wanted for our day. I literally have nothing to complain about. She made it all happen and people are still coming up to us and our families telling us how great the day was. I could go on and on but really all anyone needs to know is that they will be truly lucky to have her on their team!

I don't think I could ever, in a million years, say enough great things about Celebrations of Love and the huge role their team played in our big day! We hired Christine about 2 months into our wedding planning in from day 1 she was involved in every aspect and consistently going above and beyond her job description. Being that my fiance and I had selected a lot of the major vendors already, Christine helped us refine the vision for our day. In our first meeting she got straight to work by developing our timeline and soon after she already had a floor plan created for us. From there things just fell into place very organically and our vision began to come together more and more. Leading up to the big day Christine was communicating with all of our vendors to make sure they knew where to be and when. She also attended many if not all of our final meetings to be sure everything would be perfectly in place. Finally, on the big day (and at the Rehearsal) I didn't have a single worry in the world. Naturally there were questions that came up from the wedding party or family and I would immediately direct them to Christine because she had all the answers. I didn't have to stress or think really! I just soaked in the day and enjoyed every second. Christine and her whole team are truly wonderful to work with and I have said over and over that they were the most important piece in making our Wedding the wonderful day that it was. At this point it probably goes without saying but I would HIGHLY recommend Celebrations of Love for all Wedding and Event coordination needs. :)

I should have written this review literally three months ago, but I honestly could not think of the right words to describe Christine. She is AMAZING! Not only does she think of absolutely everything, she can also do everything. Christine made sure our wedding ran smoothly, safety pinned my dress when my husband ripped it, and literally everything in between. My mom found Christine through a family friend, and I was confident I could plan a wedding on my own. Even though I still think I could have, Christine made the process so much easier from beginning to end. We wouldn't have wanted to do it without her. My biggest piece of wedding advise I have shared with friends is to hire a wedding planner, because it is 100% worth it.

Christine is truly the most amazing person you could have organizing everything for your wedding. She is so detail oriented, efficient, positive, and nothing is too big or too crazy for her to tackle. Christine has been a part of two of my family's weddings, and we cannot thank her enough for all of the time she has put in for us. If something went wrong on our wedding day, we have no idea, because Christine probably handled it. After seeing Christine in action at my best friend’s wedding, I emailed/booked her as my wedding coordinator prior to even being engaged😳 I just couldn’t imagine having anyone else in the driver’s seat on wedding day, and assisting along the way with planning. Organization, communication, and positivity! Just a few words that come to mind when I think about my experience with Celebrations of Love. I have a tendency to be fairly anxious, but knowing “Christine’s got it,” I was able to sit back, relax, and enjoy every minute of our wedding day!!

This review is from a Father of the Bride. We had about a year to get the planning done for my Daughter’s wedding. I thought this was plenty of time, and when we were thinking of a wedding planner, I was unsure the extra expense was necessary. Then Christine was hired and took over. Wow, what a wonderful difference she made. She obviously knew her craft and helped us get vendors, transportation, and multiple arrangements I would have never thought of. Christine was great, with super communication skills and helped us plan everything to the smallest detail. She had precise plans and schedules that guided us all the way through the wedding day. Boy were my initial thoughts wrong. I am so glad and fortunate that we connected with Christine to guide us, educate us, and made this event everything a proud dad would hope for. Christine from Celebrations of Love was a very important asset to our wedding planning process. From the first time I met her I felt confident she would help us make my daughter’s wedding day the best day ever! She is extremely organized and presented us with a customized budget worksheet from the beginning. A notebook kept us up to date at each meeting. I was provided with numerous catering ideas to choose from along with florists and DJ’s, hotels, transportation shuttles, wedding dress and bridesmaid boutiques to check out, invitations designers, rehearsal dinner venues, dessert caterers, ceremony music and musicians, etc. The list goes on and on. My daughter and I would have been lost without her assistance. Christine is always calm even when disaster strikes. One of the ring bearers misplaced his custom suspenders for six hours prior to the wedding and she quickly had one sewn up to match the other ring bearer before the missing suspenders were found! Unbelievable! Nothing appears to be a problem with Christine at your side. She is extremely organized, professional, kind, and takes the edge off of nerves the day of the wedding. We knew exactly where we were supposed to be the entire day. She had a timetable of when shuttles picked up guests, when photographs would be taken, what time to be at the chapel, what time toast would occur, just every detail was notated. We totally enjoyed the wedding experience due to her diligent and professional work. Well worth the money! Would hire Celebrations of Love again in an instant! Christine covered all bases from start to finish! She is amazing!!!

Christine-where oh where to begin! Well, I suppose, we should say that you should begin with her and end with her! Let this lovely lady walk you through your entire journey! We were so blessed to have her with us each decision and step of the way. Christine thinks of anything and everything that you haven't--she looks at the big wedding day from your perspective and your guests', making sure that everyone is well cared for and enjoying every bit of the day! Most of all, she makes your dreams come to life, sometimes with a great deal of extra hard behind-the-scenes work! Our day, our flow, our timeline, our theme--was a true masterpiece. We were happy to have a friend in the wedding business as we embarked upon planning something that we knew very little about! Christine is well-loved and respected by her peers in the industry-we would meet with our vendors and when we told them we were working with Christine..."Oh my goodness, I love Christine-she's so on top things!" "Christine is such a sweetheart!" "Christine works magic!"and you know that if your chosen vendors have nice things to say about her--you are in good company and will have a reliable and trustworthy team behind you! Don't hesitate to get someone on your team who is dedicated to making your dreams come true, that you stay on point and on schedule, and make you feel so relaxed by the morning of. We, as a couple, didn't ever catch wind and to this day, still haven't heard of anything that went wrong on our special day, and that's the way it should be. Christine always stays one step ahead and that is what we love most about her! She thinks ahead and cares for you before you even know you need it! (a.k.a being shuttled through a surprise tunnel of sparklers, into a shiny black sedan stocked with pizza and Wedding cake waiting for us to be whisked away for the night!) I don't think there are adequate words to describe the knowledge, skill and passion Christine has. I spent last night at one of the best weddings I've ever seen. Everything about this wedding screamed love, elegance, fun, laughter and overall ease. My only negative is I wasn't from around here when I got married so I could have used her as my wedding planner. She and her assistant are the real deal. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Christine was our wedding superhero! Not only is Christine energetic, approachable , brilliant, but she anticipates every moment! My veil literally blew off the top of a building during our first look and Christine had another veil to me before the ceremony (after she tried to track down the original which was stuck in a tall tree). We had extra guests show up and people missing from the seating chart (no worries with Christine), a flower girl had lipstick all over her dress ( Christine made it disappear), my husband’s grandma couldn’t step up into the transportation bus ( Christine arranged another car). My husband, our families and myself would like her to be part of the family! Outside of choosing each other, Christine was the best wedding decision we made. We wish we had hired her the day after we got engaged! I’m not sure how anyone could host a wedding without Christine!

If you are looking for a highly organized, competent, detail oriented ,enthusiastic individual to guide you through you wedding and handle everything the day of the wedding, Christine is your gal. Christine set us up with excellent vendors, communicated with them on our behalf and was instrumental in making the wedding day truly special and problem free. She is easy to work with and is a lovely young woman. You will not regret having her as a wedding coordinator.

Wow Wow Wow is all I can say. Christine was the absolute best. As the mother of the bride, I was truly a guest at the wedding, and I would do it all over again as the day was just perfect. That was the highest compliment that I could give Christine and Logan. They coordinated with all of our vendors, set up all of our special touches and ensure that the bridal party and immediate family had the current timeline. There is no way to put into words how fantastic Christine and her assistant Logan are. Celebrations of Love helped my husband and I plan our STL wedding from KC and we are forever grateful for their services. We first met Christine at my brother-in-laws wedding and we knew we had to book her when it was time for us to tie the knot. She is simply the best. Detail oriented is an understatement for her skill set, you will not have to worry about anything with her by your side. Christine was there to guide us through the entire process, she gave us the best suggestions for vendors, made sure I was on track with planning and most importantly - put all my anxieties to rest. She is so prepared the day of the wedding with her apron and steamer. I honestly don't know what I would have done with her, I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING on our wedding day, she had it all taken care of for me, and even if something did go wrong, I had no clue that it did. No other planner could hold a candle to Celebrations of Love, this is the best investment you could make for your big day!

I first met Christine through one of her “Coffee Dates with Christine”. I have been in a few weddings through the years, but my first struggle came in knowing where to start with my own wedding. Christine and I talked for the whole hour and I really felt like she genuinely wanted my wedding to be perfect, whether I decided to work with her or not and that really stuck with me. After a few weeks of taking a deep dive into wedding planning, I decided that as organized as I might be I wanted to hire a planner. Without a pause, I sent Christine and email. Every step of the way she was responsive, friendly, organized beyond belief and always professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with for my wedding. When it came to the day of our wedding, Christine (and Logan!) where at the top of their game. I decided to go the bridesmaid dress rental route because many girls were all around the country. One of the girls got sent the wrong color dress (each girl received two), so we had to use one of the alternate dresses from another bridesmaid, but it was a bit low cut. Christine didn’t panic and came up with a genius idea to make another dress work (and not show any cleavage) and make all of my girls feel beautiful the whole day. Overall, I can’t recommend Christine enough as a wedding planner. She goes above and beyond on her responsibilities and I have received so many compliments from the wedding party and people who attended our wedding and saw her and Logan doing their thing and making the best day a reality for my husband and me.

Where to even begin with how wonderful Christine is! As a bride who had a specific vision of what I wanted for my wedding I didn't think there was a need for a wedding planner. However, my mom talked me in to meeting with Christine to help us with small details and the day of events. Within minutes of meeting Christine I knew we had to hire her! Her organization and attention to detail are incredible! We planned a wedding with lots of details and several different vendors and Christine handled it with ease and grace. Each time my mom and I met with her I left with my mind at ease because she had each aspect covered. The entire honeymoon, my husband and I could not stop talking about how every detail of the night was flawless and that was in large, thanks to Christine. Not only does Christine get the job done, she does it with a huge smile and a warm hug every time you see her. Her genuine love & passion for what she does is what puts her work above and beyond!

I had the pleasure of having Christine as my wedding planner this past January. She is literally worth her weight in GOLD! Every little detail gets taken care of--even things you didn't realize needed to be! I felt so at ease with her and was able to fully relax and enjoy my day because I had no doubts that everything we had planned was going to fall into place. Whether it was providing a safety pin or realizing my dress had gotten stuck in my shoe during our reception entrance--she literally is a pro. Christine has certainly earned her title as best wedding planner in Kansas City. When we started planning our wedding I didn't think a wedding planner was necessary. Looking back now, I don't know how we could have done it without Christine. From our first meeting to the day of the wedding we never felt like we had to worry. I was living in North Carolina, my fiancé was living in Ohio, and our wedding was in my hometown of Kansas City. Christine was completely unfazed by the logistical challenge that this posed and made our wedding absolutely perfect! Christine is incredibly professional, timely, attentive, and ready for any hiccup that can occur. Whether it was last minute adjustments to a flower crown or reattaching a tuxedo button during photos, she came prepared for anything and everything and never stopped smiling. What I found most impressive about her is her extraordinary tact and her ability to handle all types of family members and guests. She is utterly unflappable in the face of emotional family members, lost luggage, and the general insanity of a wedding day and handles things in a firm, but gracious manner. She is also very creative and is not afraid to try new things. For example, my husband and I started dating in Italy, so we wanted to do a unique catering setup with food stations that allowed for a traditional multi-course Italian meal for 180 guests in a short amount of time. Christine found the perfect caterer (who was probably more excited than we were to try this setup), and the result was stunning! Our wedding went off without a hitch, and it is no exaggeration to say that we couldn't have done it without Celebrations of Love!

I cannot even tell you how amazing Christine is. Our wedding was literally the most perfect thing I have ever seen! From the second we started working with her to the day of the wedding, she was more than I could have expected. Everyone says the week of your wedding is so stressful, but I seriously had no stress at all - largely because of Christine. Wow! If I did my wedding all over, I would rehire Christine in a heartbeat! From the moment we met Christine, she put me at ease. She is so sweet and very detailed oriented. After interviewing several planners, we chose Christine. It was the best investment we made in our daughters wedding. We hired her for a package that is focused more on the month before the wedding, but she was with us every step of the way, willing to read contracts and give advice when needed. But the true test of her skills was in the weeks leading up to the wedding. I'm known among my friends to be very organized, and Christine was with me on everything! She thought of things that I never would have thought of - and solved problems I didn't even know existed! My dad accidentally broke a glass (got too animated while giving his speech!) and she quietly and gracefully swept it up. She made sure that a special edible cake garnish got tucked away with our cake topper for us to enjoy on our one-year anniversary. She gave spot-on recommendations for vendors. She made last-minute labels for a family photo table the night before the wedding. She wrote up a detailed timeline for our day-of, but I never felt rushed. She gave our officiant the info he needed to get licensed. She gave advice on the wording of some non-traditional parts of our ceremony. My husband and I both ended up leaving a few things at the venue by accident at the end of the night, and she got them back to us the next day. I kept my last name, and she noticed the photographers taking a photo centered around my husband's last initial and she helped them find a more meaningful photo opportunity. She doesn't just create a wedding in a style that she likes, but really helps you bring your style to life, fitting in the things that are important to you. I can't stress enough how wonderful she was. She's also incredibly fun, spunky and genuinely sweet to work with, so you'll also enjoy spending time with her! Christine's guidance, talents and calming nature were instrumental to having our planning and execution of our wedding reception go off without a hitch. From my very first meeting with Christine, I knew she was the person I wanted to plan my wedding. On the day of, we had two small incidents through out the getting ready process, but she handled them within minutes. She completely took charge of the entire day, made sure everything ran smoothly and handled my bridal party of 16 people with kindness and patience, which I know every one appreciated. I could go on and on about how amazing Christine is at her job. I would highly recommend her to any one getting ready to plan a wedding. Hands down the best decision we made was to hire Christine as our day of coordinator. Christine was an amazing part of our wedding day! She was so willing to help make our day exactly as we hoped, and was creative in finding good options for us in aspects that we had not thought of. We had a year to plan our daughter's wedding. I have several years' experience planning huge events as part of my job. We have friends who were eager to help. So hiring a wedding planner seemed superfluous and extravagant. Then we decided to host the wedding at Mildale Farm, and a sense of panic slowly started to well up in me. I wasn't sure how we'd pull it off. I thought it would be smart to at least talk to a few planners, to see if it would make sense to hire one. We talked or met with several. After we met with Christine, my daughter and I both felt it would be wise to hire her. The father of the bride was not convinced, but went along with it; we would trim costs elsewhere in the budget (theoretically!). The wedding was complicated. We did all the set-up and tear-down ourselves with help from the large wedding party. The outdoor ceremony included live music, scripture readings, and other special elements. We had the rehearsal & dinner, ceremony, appetizers, and reception in 3 different locations on the property. But nothing seemed to fluster Christine. She is knowledgable, reliable, skillful, and professional. She communicates well, and uses tools and systems to help everyone who's part of the process, including vendors. She anticipated our needs, was always responsive, and managed every challenge seamlessly. She troubleshooted--probably much more than we know! Several times, I had what I thought were good ideas. Some of them were, and Christine jumped on board. Many others were not so good, and she gracefully redirected me, offering a better way. Christine is a kind, thoughtful, easy person to have around--really a remarkable young woman. We all came to trust her, and by wedding week I was happy to hand over all the details and tasks to her. Our daughter and son-in-law loved their wedding, and so did we. That happened in large part because of Christine. We are grateful for her. As I told her the next day, "This was the best money we spent!"

I am a very “Type A” person. Knowing I only had four months to plan our wedding, I decided I would either have to do it all myself, or find a wedding planner I could trust to do a very thorough job. As mother of the bride, for the first and only time, I was a little nervous yet excited about how to plan and navigate the wedding waters. I wanted my daughter to hire a wedding planner but that sounded like such a luxury. What could a wedding planer do that I couldn't? On the other hand I knew if we didn't have help that I would probably be the one researching since my daughter worked full time. The thought of that was daunting. When my daughter came in and excitedly announced that she had hired Christine "on the spot" at their first meeting I was a little worried, but mostly curious. I wondered, "what will she REALLY do?" Looking back, the question really is "what didn't she do?". Her connections and communication with terrific vendors i.e. florist, photographer, wedding cake, hair and makeup etc. saved us valuable time and money. She kept all of our vendors "in the loop" and on task with a computer program that she and her husband developed. She didn't tell us this because she is so humble, but we learned it from our DJ, who raved about her communication skills and about how he "loves working with her." During our meeting at our reception venue, Christine asked questions that I would not have thought to ask. She was assertive yet respectful-thorough and prepared with her questions. At the rehearsal Christine had printed a timeline of the Wedding Day and passed it out to everyone present. No one was left to wonder...'when? where? how long?' on the big day. On the day of the wedding she even picked up sandwiches that I had ordered for the bridesmaids (thanks to her direction) and took them to my neighbor's house since I didn't have fridge space. She also showed up with steamer in hand that morning and very unassumingly found a corner and began to steam each bridesmaid's dress! She had even printed off the order in which the bridesmaids should get their hair and makeup done (based on length of hair and timeline so The Bride would be stress free getting into her dress). Talk about detail. Who knew it was such a science of time management! My friend dropped by and remarked "where's the stress, there is nothing but love and excitement coming out of this house." Thank you, Christine. The day ran smoothly and beautifully. I'm not saying that I didn't have to do ANYTHING but the things I was responsible for, Christine made sure I knew the timeline and details. There were no blips, at least none that I knew of. After the reception, she gathered all our "stuff" and delivered it to our house the next morning-no small task, but such a HUGE blessing to me and my husband. When I look back and see how seamlessly the day ran, it was all Christine. When I tell my friends about Christine, they assume she "must be older and been in the business for many years". She is young and has fresh ideas and has her finger on the pulse of the wedding planning industry here in KC. Her enthusiasm for her job makes you feel like "we must be her only bride". When I found out she had many Brides besides us, I was surprised. Her memory of the details of our family and wedding were amazing. Christine's organizational skills and attention to details gave me a sense of peace and the ability to fully enjoy this once in a lifetime opportunity as MOB.

We've all seen it... 5 stars and nothing but the best comments for many of the Kansas City wedding planners. There are good ones and great ones but in another special category beyond great, there is Christine Darden. Long story short...If you're like me (and most other brides out there) and you want the most unforgettable wedding ever Christine is the planner/friend you need. Not convinced? Read on. My husband and I were engaged for a year and a half and had lot of the detailed planned before we hired Christine 6 months out, but we were worried about all of the "day of" details. Christine goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect just the way YOU want it and has tons of great advice to make your day go extra smooth. Our favorite thing about Christine was how she made us feel like our wedding was the only one she was planning (even though she had a handful of weddings before ours, including her own big day.) She's AMAZING. On wedding day my husband stepped on my dress and the bustle came undone as we were leaving the ceremony. I began to panic and Christine showed up at pictures following the ceremony (and yes she had a million other things to do) and she pinned my dress. She will literally do everything in her power to make sure your day is your dream day. We are so sad that wedding day has passed but we get to smile fondly about the day, rave about how wonderful she is, recommend her to bride's to be like yourself and call her our friend.

Christine is absolutely the best. She went above and beyond to make our day stress free and was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her to any and all brides. She is truly customer focused and gains a complete understanding of her client’s vision and expectations and executes everything to perfection. Thanks to Christine my day was WONDERFUL!
