Celeste Reingans, founder and designer, has been entranced by this industry since she was a young girl. She would scrutinize wedding dress magazines and try to find a way she could make them her own. Celeste studied special occasion dressing and couture sewing techniques at the Fashion Institute of Technology, building on a lifetime of creating her own clothes. It wasn’t until she designed her sister’s bridal gown, however, that she realized this was where she wanted to dedicate her energy. She began her company by designing couture accessories for her friends to wear on their special day, and Celeste New York blossomed from there. Since launching in 2019, Celeste New York has expanded to include veils, capes, caftans and hair accessories. These pieces are crafted from high-quality laces and other fabrics, which are sourced from Europe and all over the world. Delicate veils are embellished with 3D applique flowers or lace for a whimsical touch, while capes add a touch of vintage charm. Veils can be designed in a range of lengths, including up to a showstopping cathedral style.
